Cham stirred slowly, his head resting against a stone at the edge of a small pool of water in the middle of what looked like a lush, vibrant, moss covered woods. His eyes slowly opened, one green, one purple, staring up at the canopy above, little openings showing a bright, afternoon sky. He stared upwards for a few minutes, unsure of what was happening and where he was, trying to put all the puzzle pieces of his memories together. Everythign seemed a blur.
Slowly he sat upright, bringing a hand to his head and rubbing his eyes. "What?" he said, his voice cracking a little as his parch throat complained. He heard the soft running stream next to him and he leaned over, scooping up a handfull of water and swallowing it down, healing the ache in his throat.
Whiping his mouth he stood, looking around. "Where am I?" he said scratching his head.

"I really have no idea."
Not ten feet away, directly behind him, laying on her back with her legs up against the trunk of a tree, looking up into the gently swaying boughs and leafy green above her, Elena had her hands underneath her head. The soft grass contrasted beautifully against her porcelain skin, and her liquid brown sugar eyes regarded the young Chameleon with a mixture of affection and hesitance.
Her feet pulled away from the trunk, her knees bending to her chest, and her hips lifting off the ground. "All I remember," she entered a backwards somersault, coming up on her rear and sitting cross-legged. Her hands were gently folded in her lap, her black gauntlets glimmered in the bright sunlight. Ebony black hair shone resplendantly, framing a face that was equal parts joy at seeing him, and shyness for the same reason.
"Is walking away from the bar after the battle with Dramanius."

"Elena," Cham said looking at her. He was a bit dazed as he walked. His hair seemed to be darker, not entirely black, but not the same shade of brown either. His green and purple eyes stood stark against his light features. "Hi, sorry... I'm still a little confused..." he said checking himself once over.
He had on a normal light tunic and black pants that hung loose on his small waist. A green cloth wrapped around his waist multiple times, which was the only reason the pants were actually staying on him.
"Have you seen Master Kihaku?" Cham said his eyes looking around, hoping to see the person who seemed to know the answers to everything.

From the tree, a woman's squeal of surprise came, followed shortly by a dull thud and a grunt of pain as someone - or something - fell from the tree's brances to the ground. This someone/something was about sixteen or seventeen by the looks of her, had long pink hair, and was very confused and stuned, the wind knocked out of her from her very abrupt drop.
"Kaah..!" she gasped for her air and rolled to her back, sitting up, frazzled with a branch and several leaves tangled in her hair, her hands and feet wrapped with fabric from what must be her torn skirt, but for what reason, it was unknown: it was a lovely day!
"Ooooff... ow." she grunted, gently tugging a stick out from under her, feeling a little violated. "My head..."

"Sorry Chamcham, I've not seen him for ages. I had a dream that I saw him though." She remembered her dream quite vividly, as a matter of fact. She was in the OtherRealm for some reason, a reason she couldn't recall just now, and bid him a farewell as he left to the mortal plane of existence. She'd complained that it wasn't fair that she should be left behind while he go have fun, but he left anyway. Later, she began looking for little Reiaz, but couldn't find him no matter how hard she looked. She even peeked into the world of the living to find him, and instead found only a dead world.
She promptly had poked her head back in and scuttled off as if she hadn't seen anything.
She was about to say more when a small thump behind her drew her attention. Having just woken from a most disturbing dream, she wasn't quite in the mood to be attacked, as one tends to be on this confounding planet. Instead of seeing some elegantly dressed villain with a handle-bar mustache and black top hat, or some slobbering, rampaging, cantankerous beastie, was a small girl that appeared to be no older than mid-teens. Her skirt was torn, she had bits of foliage in her hair... definitely not the most terrifying of sights.
Elena rolled forward onto her hands, lifted herself bodily off her legs, and pushed off hard with her hands, effectively performing a half backflip to land in a crouched position right next to the poor pink person. "Hey there cutie, where'd you come from?"

Cham ran to the girl in a dead run, skidding to the ground beside her. "Shizuka! Are you alright?" he said looking her over up and down and then stopped. "Oh... I'm sorry... your not her..." he said, the brightness in his eyes seemed to dissapear for a moment, as if saddened.
He lifted a hand to the girl. "Are you hurt?" he said, his hand glowing a bright green. He focused on his Channeled energy, using it to heal any scrapes, scratches, or other wounds she could be inflicted with at the moment. "My name is Chameleon Roughnight," he said, his green and purple eyes looking to her as he gave a kind hearted smile. "What's your name?"

The girl was a little dazed at first, and did not respond immediately to the presence of others near her, but when she did, she was a little shocked. Alluva sudden, two people were all over her, asking if she was okay and where she came from! It was a good sight to see, other people, and she was joyously glad that they were not some kind of monsters or people seeking to hurt her in some way. The fledgling smiled at the two sheepishly, and responded first to the overly friendly woman. Blinking at her once, the woman's name popped into her head, and some things about her that made no sense to her at all, which she absorbed, but ignored at the same time.
"Mmh..." she groaned, testing her legs and arms momentarily to make sure they were o.k., her body quite sore from the fall, and her skin still a little frostbitten on ehr feet and hands. In the warmth of the nice day, her whole body stung a little. "Iono, Elena-san... One moment I was in a big span of snow and mountains and a REALLY cold river with this priest named William... and alluva sudden, I'm being dropped by a tree!" she said, tugging at one of the branches in her hair, now a complete mess as she sat there, having used her name and spoken to the woman like she'd known her for a while... she felt like she did, really!
It was strange, her all-seeing lotus... but the whole 'budding goddess' thing, and this new development manifested in the form of trees and grass in the first place in contrast to her previous environment was also highly strange. She should be used to this by now. This woman was awefully friendly towards her, Atsuko noted.
As Chameleon ran up to her, she blinked at the boy and his name popped into her head, along with another set of random details, things that were out of context without the prior knowledge the boy posessed, but also some nice things, mostly relating to the boy's immediate power usage: His channeled energy. She knew instantly he wasnt trying to hurt her at all, and in fact, was going to heal her. Allowing his healing hands to reach her with no hesitation, her bumps, bruises, even her frostbite, melted away along with the accompanying pain, and she felt instantly better. As he touched her ouchies, she managed to subconciously pull a little more about him into her mind simply because he was touching her and using his powers upon her; it would have happened whether she wanted it to or not.
"Thank you, Chameleon-san...!" she said gratefully, nod-bowing to him respectfully and shooting him a sheepish grin. His smile was heartwarming... she already felt welcome in his presence, and that welcomeness is what put her most at ease. These were good people, like William... she could sense it... Chameleon especially so: He had a lot of pain in him, Like William does... he was much younger than Father William though. A lot nicer, really... well, nice in different ways.
He asked her name though, and Atsuko would have been rude not to give it. "My name? My names Atsuko, Atsuko Yoshime!" she chimed cheerfully, feeling much, much much better now that her pains were gone. Her clothes were still a wreck, but she felt like she could have been naked in front of them and it wouldnt have mattered a scratch.
"I am pleased to meet you both!"

"Good," he said to her as he finished fealing her pain go away. "Your welcome," he said, his smile widening. "Very nice to meet you too Atsuko," he said standing up once again and holding out a hand to help Atsuko up.
"Elena," he said looking up at her, "Can you locate Master Kihaku. I really need to speak with him." he said looking back to the girl.
Atsuko looked so much like her, it was almost like she was here again. But she wasnt, Shizuka was gone. He looked around himself, searching for Kihaku's aura. He could do it, but he knew that Elena would find it easier. "Kihaku is my Master, Atsuko. If you're lost or something, maybe Kihaku could help find you who you need to find." he said, his eyes seemed to glow brighter as he searched.

Elena liked that she was very enthusiastic, but the looks she gave Chameleon kind of set her on edge. She gave the impression that she had known Cham for months, when they'd only just met a few moments ago. What unnerved her even more than that was the fact that she had known Elena's nam, even though she'd not said a word to even hint at that information. Elena wasn't normally a suspicious person, but for now she wanted to keep an eye on Atsuko, just in case.
Her smile was still kind, still friendly, still sincere, she giggled and nudged Atsuko's upper right arm with her own left elbow. "Yeah, ol' grumpy-pants'll know exactly what to do, assuming you really are lost." She turned to the young man and poked him stiffly on his shoulder. "C'mon dude, what gave you the impression she was lost? All she said was that she fell asleep in one place and woke up in another. Totally unrelated with being lost."
She looked back to Atsuko with a, "can you believe this guy," look on her face before turning back to the young man, smile back in place and mischief in her eyes. "Did you forget about being the Bridge? You're connected to all three of us whether you like it or not. Just fill the mark with your energy, and think of him. If he's in the mortal world, he'll answer."

Atsuko tugged her fingers through her hair as she grunted a little, working several small twigs, several leaves, even a small clump of snow, out of her locks, and plopping them down in a small pile she mentally designated as her 'pile of things from my hair' and in doing so straightened her hair out so it was more comfortable, and did not look so bad in front of her companions.
Ah... her companions! They were nice, comical people. As she smiled at the woman who had been so freindly so far, she internally winced a little. She wasn't completely dense... Looking at the female, she got more and more ideas on some things she had already done wrong... she couldnt read her any deeper, but that diddn't mean she couldnt use her intuition. How suspicious would she be if... did she really use her name already?
Meeping softly, Atsuko gathered herself up into a more comfortable sitting position, and shook her head a little at Chameleon "Y-You dont have to trouble yourself Cham-san..." she murmured softly, barely audible as she looked at the pile of twigs and snow. "Really, I'm not sure if I'm lost, so please don't trouble yourself on my account... you've been very kind to me." she said, respectfully bowing to him from her sitting position, touching her forehead to the grass gently before sitting up once more.
Sitting up drew her eyes over again towards her pile of things from her hair... and it got her thinking. The way the debris was arranged... it looked to her like... well, it reminded her of her pet Doll Spider she used to have when she was little. Perhaps... with a little playing with the materials... it might look more like her favorite childhood pet. Her hands quickly grew busy, and her eyes focused upon her little creation in the works. It wasn't like she was showing off at all... when creativity calls, never deny it her mother always said.
So she began to think rather hard on where she would go with this. What were good traits for a spider creature? She gave it a lot of thought as she methodically played with and molded the snow and twigs, breaking them so they were proper length... despite her second-hand materials, it was coming to shape quite nicely! It REALLY looked like a spider. She was good at it, it seemed, her still-cool hands working rapidly, molding, shaping, turning snow to ice.
Her creation REALLY looked like a spider! A big one, about the size of a pair of fists... but a doll-spider was so called because it was so friendly and affectionate as a species of spider, so kindness was a plus... but every creation she had made so far was extremely useful too. Perhaps that was a good trend to follow... make them living things with purposes that were obvious, to help people. She looked up from her creation as her hands continued to work by touch, imbuing her intentions into her work as she molded and sculpted. Smiling at her (hopefully) new friends, she looked back down, working diligently.
As she sculpted, she knew he had to be warm... had to be able to cast webbing! Oh yes, that was good... how strong though...? She gave it a lot of thought as her hands worked into a frenzy as she focused her attention upon her small creation completely. The web... had to be STRONG. Falling from that tree HURT... alot! He had to have strong, extra-clingy web... and a body that could comfortably support many times its weight... like... a person's weight, and had to be able to get stronger for a bigger person. He would be a big help to anyone who could take care of him... and she decided that wouldn't be hard: he needed only to feed on smaller insects, and he would hunt like a normal spider. After all, that was a big perk of having a pet spider: he ate pests.
Her hands paused at a certain point, froze solid, and she lifted them back into her lap. She knew it was strange, what she was doing... she knew these people might not take it like she hoped they would. She did not want them to fear her at all: after all, how scary was she, really? She was a teenager, after all... and she diddn't think she was all that frightful.
Atsuko smiled sheepishly up at the people she'd just met. The truth was probably the best medicine... and it dawned on her that these people had no idea. "Sorry... if I startled you, Elena, by using your name before you gave it to me... I'm not some kind of stalker or anything... This is gonna sound REALLY wierd, perhaps incredulous, but..." she sighed a little as she looked down at her little spidery creation... he was adorable, with a soft-fuzzed body and big, friendly eyes like a jumping spider. He had the stout body of a doll spider, and an exoskeleton complimenting an endoskeleton she willed to be especially hard, so he could support many times his own weight. He was a wonderful creation... but she had to focus to make him more than that.
"When I look at people... when I first see them, I know their name... and sometimes... when I first meet them, like just now when I met you guys... I get a little bit more. I'm really sorry, I can't really help it... its just how my eyes work is all." she said. All weighed... she had no powerful warrior spirit... nor did she exude powerful magic... but she did have... psionic power that made no sense in her innocent frame.
"But its not just that. You have been very kind to me so far, and it'd be rude if you did not at least know what it is I do, or who I am." she said, as she got ready to give her creation life... he'd melt soon if she diddn't, and she couldn't stand the thought of that: she'd put her heart into making him...!
"So lemme re-introduce myself I guess!" she chimed cheerfully, but with an adorable kind of nervousness that let them know she was uneasy about this... after all, the last time she revealed her abilities, Abrielle, the Goddess of the Moon, decided to test her, and sent her to that ice-world place. Biting the bullet, she continued. "My names Atsuko Yoshime... there is no real word for what I am, I've been told by people... somewhat like me. You would call them Gods... or Goddesses, maybe. I'm not a goddess, really, or so Abrielle, Goddess of the Moon told me... appearantly, I'm niether a mortal, nor a goddess... but something inbetween. An immature diety, I guess that makes me... if that makes any sense." she said, nodding a little. It was probably a lot to take in... it was not every day someone met a goddess, after all, even one immature like she was.
Lifting her hands, and touching her creation as she brought her energies to bare, she furrowed her brow. Her will grew, and her strength was poured into the little form before her. It wasnt warrior spirit... it wasnt magic... it was just... warmth, and radiance... something from within her very soul, tempered in the flames of her mind. It was divine power, and it did not come from any outside source... simply from within her. From within her heart and soul. She was no liar.
Her eyes lit up... literally, actually, the chocolate brown orbs glowing radiantly and changing color to silver momentarily as she planted a warm kiss upon her creation's little forehead. The snow and twigs of his body dissolved... and revealed flesh and fuzz, Atsuko's whole body glowing brightly now as her creation literally came to life. As she calmed, panting, her eyes returning to normal, the small creature's big, black eyes opened and it looked around with the innocence of a newborn. She had just created life.
Smiling tiredly at her little creation, she scooped him up and held him against her gently, the small creature rumbling a little and relaxing, curling its legs underneath its body, and shutting its eyes again, soon asleep agaisnt her breast. "I name you..." she blinked a little.. she hadn't even considered a name.
Looking up at Chameleon and Elena, she smiled cheerfully, despite looking as if she was about to fall over. "Whats a good name for his species? I would be honored if you named him for me..." she murmured, having just created an entirely new species of spider from twigs and snow from her hair. She was definately not lying... she had the power not only to control life... but to create new life. The power to craft souls for the works of her hands. She did it all, right on the spot, right then, right there, before the two onlookers she had just met. They just witnessed a divine miracle, and here she was about to go unconcious... it was such a terrible strain, after all.

( ooc: Uh... so I guess it snowed now? ))
Chameleon rolled his eyes at Elena, he actually did forget. He momentarily brought a hand up to his his upper arm, over the symbol of the Chaos Gate that was, for lack of a better term, tatooed onto his arm. He gave Elena a sarcastic smile. "If you fall asleep, and wake up in a new place, and you dont know entirely where you are, you're lost." Cham said nudging her playfully with his elbow.
He looked down at the girl as she began re-introducing herself, giving information that they didnt entirely need to know, but he accepted it with open arms anyways. As she began to form a spider, Chameleon put a hand on Elena's shoulder defensively and moved a little in front. He could feel the energy as she was breathing the life into the inanamate being.
"Whats a good name for his species? I would be honored if you named him for me..."
Cham watched. "Golem, you created a Golem," he said, sounding suprised. "That's quite an amazing ability," he said with a polite smile, though he didnt move from in front of Elena. The truth was, he had always been somewhat of an arachnaphobic.
He looked back at Elena, his eyes were still kind but they had a small mixture of worry in them. "We should get into contact with Kihaku so we can find out what's happening soon."
Cham looked back towards Atsuko but instead of saying something, he simply closed his eyes. He was concentrating, trying to find Kihaku. His body, very subtle, very easily missed, glowed a green and purple aura. 'Kihaku... where are you?'

(Naw, it didnt snow... but she was in a blizzardy-area before, and alluva sudden she was HERE! :3 hee she had snow in her hair from before is all. Sorry about randomly popping into your thread and stuff... if you dont like it, I could leave if you like! I would like to hang out with you though... I didn't wanna interrupt anything.)
Innocently, Atsuko looked at the spider and held it out in front of her, the creature's big, sweet eyes opening as it let its legs dangle down from her gentle hands, the creature chittering a little curiously: it enjoyed its mother's embrace, never wanted to leave it, but she was looking at him rather analytically (though she doubted he knew what that meant).
A little whimpering cry came from it, a pathetic, adorable little sound as it squirmed uncomfortably, and she smiled a bit, setting the sweet arachnid atop her head where it would instantly calm and chitter happily, gripping its mother's head a little, the perfect size and shape for just such an act, his legs and body making him look a little like a spidery helmet than her creation.
"Golem...?" Atsuko said to herself, feeling a bit better... She was tired... but she was feeling better and better now that she's had a few moments to sit. She was already feeling some strength returning. Blinking up at the spider, she smiled. "Whassa golem?" she wondered to herself aloud, smiling just slightly. It was a funny word, but she diddn't know what it meant.
Blinking at Cham, he seemed to take a defensive position in front of Elena. She... did not think he took all this the right way, but he didn't seem dangerous or anything... so she decided to just leave it alone, and let her creation step onto the ground from her head. The innocent creature took thoughtful steps on the warm ground, raising its forelimbs upward and feeling the slight breeze brush across its fur, as Atsuko watched it. The creature batted at a fly, making a little hissing sound, but he was too slow, and the fly too small, for him to even consider being able to catch it like that.
At first, Atsuko wasn't quite paying attention as her created son batted at the flies and mosquitoes... again, and again, and again. He tried pouncing them, biting at them, smacking them, and more... but he was never fast enough, and soon became frustrated, making a small cry and giving up, rubbing at its mother's face, whimpering. Atsuko looked at it and made an aww kind of face, rubbing its abdomen with her gentle hand, calming it quickly.
"Silly little guy... I think your name is... Mwin. Mwin Spider." she said softly, and the creature reached one of its forelimbs up to stroke its mother's hand. It was hungry... Atsuko knew her creations like her children, and it didn't take much to see that... so she had to help him. He had no idea how to hunt... but in teaching him, all his offspring would later know how: he was the prototype... when she made a female, she'd be the second draft, and they'd reproduce. She wouldn't do THAT though... until later.
First thing was first: she had to teach him how to hunt with his webs. Scooping the creature up, Atsuko gently gave his arms little strokes, trying to stimulate his web production glands, which she gave him at the end of every limb, and at the end of his abdomen like a normal spider's spinnerettes. First, she had to teach him to use his limb ones... the abdominal spinerette would be second nature then.
It did not take long for the bit of muscle that held the creature's spinerretes in check released a little, and webbing came free onto the grass. Quickly, Mwin closed the hole again, and got comfortable, opening and closing it. Each limb went this way; as soon as he had one mastered, the next was already working. Once she was satisfied with this, she set him down again, and started to doodle in the dirt with her finger. What she drew was a pattern of interlinking lines, drawing them in the order he would need to when he would try it, and the spider watched with great interest.
Atsuko nodded once she was finished, and sat up, the creature inbetween her crossed legs, its upper body and two forelimbs dangling there as it started to lay webbing, mimicing her pattern. Soon, it had the basic weave of a spider's web, and it picked that up between its limbs, staring at it innocently before giving it a testing bat at a fly, snagging it up instantly. Excitedly, it brought the creature to its mouth and ate it in one bite- this wasn't a poisonous spider, he ate his prey whole - and got to catching more like it, scampering around after wriggling free of its mother's embrace to chase prey.
Smiling, and watching her creation eat, feeling so proud of it... he was innocent and fearless, chasing all manner of other creatures... Flies, dragonflies, horseflies, wasps (which stung him, and he furthermore avoided), bees (which did much the same) , mosquitos, and more. Once satisfied, it ate the web it made as well, and scurried back up to its mother, climbing into her lap, where it recieved rewarding pets and coos from her. It would know its mother, the Mwin Spider, but... it would also instinctually know the person who cared for it. It was a species of spider made to be symbiotic with humans... a lovable pet.

Elena watched in facination as Atsuko began to manipulate the detritus she pulled out of her hair, infusing it with her energy and creating something completely new. This was a new form of energy that Elena had never seen before, and it drew her attention like a moth to a flame. Then she was suddenly distracted by a touch on her shoulder, making her jump just a tad bit.
Cham had moved in front of her, as if to protect her from whatever Atsuko was creating. Though the young girl seemed harmless enough, and whatever she was making didn't look as though it would be any danger, but the thought and action brought a blush and a smile to her face. She didn't remove his hand from her, instead putting her opposite hand on top of his, her warm skin in contact with his, if only for a moment, even if he didn't seem to reciprocate the feelings she clearly had for him.
She really liked him, but if he didn't feel the same, then that was the way things would be.
She didn't suggest a name for the small spider thing, even though she was supremely surprised that she had created an entirely new life. She wasn't fond of creepy-crawlies, but the creature did indeed have a sort of unique charm to it. Instead, she hung back, keeping her eyes on Cham knowing that he would soon find out if Kihaku was even on the planet's surface.
As Cham penetrated the hidden lay-lines that criss-crossed the very universe, his spirit, infused with Chaos Energy, sent his message to the farthest reaches of the planet, reaching into every small niche, ever height of every mountain, and every depth of every sea. Outwards, into forever it went, until it was finally intercepted, not very far away.
"Chameleon! God-dammit, boy, where the Hell are you!?
The emission was so powerful, even Elena felt it, and she smiled.

"I'm in Levertia," Cham sent back, "I'll spike my energy and just follow it," he sent again, though this wasn't an audible sound, Elena could most likely hear it, but since Atsuko wasnt connected with the other Realm or Chaos energy, she wouldnt.
Without warning to Atsuko or Elena, he quickly rose his energy, his body glowing a bright green with purple towards the bottom. His energy, for that second, was very powerful, more powerful than he had been since before that fight with Dramanius. Before he harmonized his Chaos and Channeled energies into one. It didnt come to Kihaku's power, but it did get up there.
"Kihaku will have felt that, he'll be here soon," he said looking down at Atsuko and realized that she had asked him a question earlier and he hadn't answered.
"A Golem," Cham explained, "Is a being created from something non-living, making the inanimate, to the animate." he said with a nod. He looked up towards the sky expecting his Master soon.

Elena hadn't quite "heard" what transpired, per se, but she could indeed feel the gist of what had been said, and looked forward to her big brother showing up. He may be a tall, brusque, and wholly unappealing conversation, but at least she knew that, deep down, deep, DEEP down, he was a good guy who would do anything to help his friends. Elena and Reiaz, the only other two Chaos Spirits, were like siblings to the huge man, and they to him.
Elena scooched forward, closer to Atsuko and her newly... um... "birthed" creature. The spidery thing had a unique charm to it, though far larger than normal, it definitely didn't look nearly as threatening. Certain groups might be able to think of it as "cute," though that term in particular was kind of pushing it in Elena's mind. As grotesquely cute as anyone found it, regardless, it was the most interesting thing Elena had seen since the mortal manifestation of the Blackforce Gates.
"I gotta say, that little thing is really funky. A good kind of funky though. He's really cool, I just hope you know what you're doing." She fixed Atsuko with a hard look, her liquid brown sugar eyes bespoke that perhaps she knew more than she let on, was far wiser beyond her years, infinite as they may be. "By creating a new life, you pledge to care for it, to protect it, and that this creature will no more endanger the world than a newly grown sapling on the edge of a forest."
Elena stood straight, her slender, athletic body giving off waves of indominable wisdom and ageless experience, tempered by the strength of a youthful spirit. Black gauntlets shimmered in the sunlight, and though her energy emissions were minimal, her Chaos Energy swirled just beneath the surface.
Atsuko, newborn goddess, looked into the eyes of Elena, the Guardian of Consequence, and at one time the Hands of Chaos. A demi-god and a Chaos Spirit... only on Dragonia, folks.
Halfway around the world, a second Chaos Spirit flew through the air at increadible speeds, hood hiding his face from the sunset he was flying away from, black staff held firmly against his back, inky sheath and blade hanging at his hip. What the hell is he doing in Lavertia?
