Ah, so you've noticed? Yep, things got quiet 'round these parts once the Outbreak Saga ground to a complete stop, and when Midnight Reaping opened up, it sorta opened the flood-gates for people that needed someplace to RP. Unfortunately, it's quite a good place to do so. As much as I love LoD and would fight for it to come back... I'm not sure there's going to be any reviving it this time. It saddens me greatly.  |

I've had a look at Midnight Reaping. It's not really my thing, to be honest. Though I will be thinking of ways to try and get both LoD and FH back to some form of postiness.

I'd LOVE for both FH and LoD to return. MR isn't all that demanding, admin-wise, and I'm the kind of person that can crank out good posts in fifteen minutes.
But other than myself, 'Niku was the last to post on the 28th of last month, and I'm fairly sure I was also one of the most recent posts here. If that's the case, then it might be time to just retire Kihaku and come up with someone new.

Well, I dunno 'bout you two, but s'far as I know, Zolo and Ryan are still ready and rarin' to get this place running again.
Also... IDK about you guys, but I'd like to make the motion that we move the site all-together to a different web-host. I've got nothing against Proboards, specifically, I just have more experience, and an all-around better time, using Invsionfree. It wouldn't be hard at all, we wouldn't have to change any rules, and it would give us a chance to weed out all of the members who are 100% not returning.
Of course, I'm just one Admin, I'm open to suggestions.

Personally I would prefer us to stay where we are for the time being. I like the design of these boards personally.
But hey, I'm not an admin anymore. It's up to you guys.

Meh...I don't really care where we end up.
I guess my only suggestion would be to continue in the direction that was planned before the site died. I thought that some of the rules on different energies and classes added some cool strategic aspects to the game. If we expanded on that a bit more it could make things pretty interesting.

I agree that we should keep the new power stuffs, but to me the class system that we came up with is just a tad too cumbersome. I suggest that we keep the new energy rules, but lose the class system. I am more than willing to expand on the energy system we have, as it was a combined effort of EVERYONE on the board (making it much more personal for us), and I have no problem staying here.
My reasoning is that, if we move to a new board, it would be a fresh start for our crew, and maybe influence old members to return to a new site that still has all of their old ventures. We would, unfortunately, lose the threads in our Archive, but the stories are well-written and safe, so they too are at least salvagable.
I'll do my best to get Ryan and them back in here to at least read this thread, see what they think.
And welcome back Leyline and Aion, glad to have you back. ^__^

I'm not sure about losing the class system. It's designed to stop people having loads super-duper killing attacks. But if a better design is thought up, then I'm all for it.

Well, my opinion, unasked for though it be, is whatever. It's this group of writers that I've enjoyed, subject matter notwithstanding. Count me in for anything!

*wonders if he still gets an Admin's opinion* I kinda disappeared all round from the RPing world lately... but I'm up for at least bringing a new character in to an LoD Revival. But as I've said to Jimmy, I don't know how active I'd be. It seems like a lot of effort to crank out writing for me sometimes, but I think with enough encouragement all around I might be able to keep something going  Also, I've got another place to plug Jimmy and my Fanfic if this place starts up again |
