Character Information:
Character's Name: Pariah/Jenny
Character Race: Gynoid - She is an advanced android, made primarily from the alien technology the Zolanites found at Site Theta. While they were capable of producing some of it, a lot of her composition is well beyond their level of understanding. Since it maintains itself, this is not a problem, however.
Gender: Female (yes, works)
Hair Color/Style: Usually a dark greyish
Eye Color: Bright, metallic blue
Age: The Pariah program has been running for about 4 years now.
Height: By design, the schematics uncovered at Site Theta yielded a figure of about five and a half feet tall.
Weight: About 150; she is made primarily from metals, but the composition is an advanced alloy, thus lighter.
Aura Color: The entity discovered at Site Theta, nicknamed Pariah, had a metallic gold-pink aura flowing like mercury dripping upward. The chaotic nature of it has been harnessed, and while it retains its unusual, metallic sheen, the aura spikes in predictable patterns from the surface of her body, making it more like an emanation than an aura. This is the venting system, and it normally is not visible.
Attire: Pariah dresses like the average zolanite peasant, with wrapped hands and feet, wrapped body, and under that, a tattered blanket fashioned into a makeshift hood and cloak. It has long ago been bleached of all color, though, thus is now a nondescript grey color.
Other Physical Features: She has a modest little body and a kind of beaten demeanour that implies she might have a rough sort of life behind her. She is unscarred and has a pale shade of the trademark Zolan dark skin, that never gets any lighter or darker, and hands that are uncalloused, no matter how hard she works. The most unusual thing about her is her ears; about a foot long each, covered in soft white, velveteen fluff. They are emotive, conveying her feelings freely and almost rabbit-like, swivelling and moving with the agility of a canine ear. Normally, they sweep backward (she is used to wearing a hood). She wears her mid-back length hair (which never gets longer or shorter) straight and wild, naturally clinging to itself irregularly, giving her a kind of muted, wild appearance. It is shorter in the front, about chin-length, and bowing out from her face. In this state, she is awkward and clumsy.
When her other persona is switched to active, she changes some; the ears change, splitting open into three metallic fixtures, constantly moving and twitching to receive sounds from her environment. Emotion fades from her features, and life leaves her eyes. In this alter-state, she has catlike agility, always silent. Looking at how the two personas move and act, it is hard to believe they could possibly be the same person.
Abilities:
L-photon Powers: Lphotons are subatomic particles that were discovered at the heart of Site Theta. These "L-Photons" or "Living Photons" are actually parts of a living being, like how cells are part of a human body. This being, dubbed Pariah by the Zolans who discovered the energy, produces this energy in surplus, to varying degrees. It is not certain if this entity and its counterpart, Pandora, is sentient, but the energies were too appealing a prospect for them to worry about it. Even the smallest visible manifestations of L-Photons are both a) safe to handle in most frequencies by the naked hand, and b) excellent, replenishable sources of power. Pariah, a massive manifestation, seems to be self-sustaining, save of course for a few spots on its form that leak energy faster than the rest of the organism can produce it. The android body, mostly alien by design, was incomplete, but obviously designed to work around that. This was accomplished before the Zolanites got there, so all they had to do was fill in the 25-30% remaining elements of the body.
Her non-weapon persona cannot use techniques marked by (*) and ones marked by (+) are not compatible with the weapon-persona.
Class I:
- Conventional Weapons, Firearms (finger darts-ish attacks. She can use these weapons as either rapid-fire in the form of a firearm similar to a 50-cal machine gun, or singly to the effect of something like a high-calibre pistol.) (*)
- High-Speed Movement (Teleport) (*)
- Conventional Weapons, Heavy (Think rockets and grenades. Like I said, about 25% of her is terrestrial tech based) (*)
- Rapid Fire (only means anything, really, with her Conventional weapons. They're chain-fed, capable of putting out a lot of ordinance very quickly.) (*)
- Nanoengineers (rapid healing, alien technology advanced enough to recognize even the lower-tech components her design had been completed with. This aspect is beyond the ability of the Zolanite military to understand fully. As a side benefit, the nanoengineers also restore her ammunition supplies, given time to do so)
- Enhanced Speed (Her body can handle overloads in its actuators, made in such a way that her limits can be pushed. Faster is usually a possibility.)
- Nanoengineer Power-surge (Lets her quickly restore destroyed parts or reattached detached... things! She is her own mechanic, and good thing, too; her tech is mostly out of this world.)
- Breathe Anywhere (She doesn't breathe, or rather, doesn't have to.)
- Attune (Works something like energy absorption. She can take a variety of energy types, from electric to heat to kinetic energy and either replenish herself or gain a quick boost of energy.)
- Near Death x2 Power (The containment systems are not perfect. The framework of her body has weaknesses, even if its power source does not. Once containment fails (when the Gynoid body is over 90% destroyed or inactive), it starts to actively leak.)
Original Class I:
Glowing Brawl: She can emanate L-photons from any part of her body, so putting it out around striking points on the body is not all that complicated an application. This adds explosive force to even something as simple as a punch. (*)
L-photon Hammer: Using her aura as a weapon, she can project L-photons into a solid form, such as a mass of bludgeoning force with volatile L-photons on its striking edge.
L-photon Blade: Her energies can be made sharp as well as blunt, with a little more effort, manifesting a lasting blade of energy. (*)
Radiant Hands: A cool name for the tendrils of L-photons she can use to grasp and move things or manifest attacks. (*)
Manoeuvring Burst: She can't really fly - L-photons aren't THAT stable, at least not enough to provide thoughtless, reliable flight with a body like hers, so instead, she uses explosive reactions to add kick to jumps and manoeuvre in the air. They are not intended as attacks, but of course possess enough force to be used as so!(*)
Class II:
Crystal Flower (+): A beautiful pink flower made entirely from L-Photons solidified in predictable, stable patterns. They are something the Gynoid has no faculties to create, for it is a cold, cruel thing that has no care for something so gentle. They are Sympathetically charged objects, with energy that is easily accessed. They act as a battery: they can heal and revitalize both living things and objects with their abundant energy and the nanoengineers that float freely within it, harmless to living things. While somewhat difficult to make, they are worth the effort.
Lucent Lance (*): These lances are simply tendrils of energy made rigid and razor-sharp. She can stab with them, or hurl them accurately at long ranges. Because a tendril can crack like a whip, multiplying their inertia, she often puts a lot of force behind these penetrating attacks. At her option, these lances can become unstable and explode at certain distances, or even in contact with an object.
Sympathy (+): Using the same principles of her Flowers, Pariah can directly apply those energies to the same effect. This is, in fact, far easier to do, than make a flower for it, but of course, she must be within a couple feet of the target to restore it. Again, the Gynoid half of her has no compassion, which fuels this technique, thus it is unable to use it.
Aegis: This works something like a Ki Bubble, except that it is mostly solid, instead of mostly open space like the bubble technique, emanating from her body directly and straight out to the outer radius. Pariah can use this in either state, but when she is in her "Jenny" ego, it only works under stress.
Inquisitor Communication System: This is the point of the ears. They do a lot more than look cute; they are a sophisticated system for electronic warfare, capable of intercepting and analyzing transmissions on almost any modern form of communication, from cell phones to radios to digital communication forms. They can pick up some on psychic communications and other forms if she can calculate the frequency (as in, if she was expecting and waiting for the communication). "Jenny" isn't as sophisticated with this system's use as Pariah, the Android persona.
Head-hunter (*): Pariah is a weapon of mass destruction, an agent of the Zolan government, and they made pretty darn sure she'd stay that way. She has a guidance system, a method they use to control her without slowing her down; an alteration to her cyber-neural network, a graft to the alien technology born from over two years of constant, aggressive, and around-the-clock research. It alters several parts of her mind, hardwiring into her sight and senses the ability to sense targets they designate by unique traits, such as bodily build, energy signatures, scents, distinct sounds, and anything the Inquisitor system can pick up on and read. A target appears as red to her vision, while a target the Zolan government deems important, like a military official's humvee or the dictator's son, appears green. Irrelevant entities are ignored when the Head-hunter is active, appearing blue and dim. Upon destruction of a Red-marked target (as in, when she has landed a damaging blow or outright blown it to pieces), her cyber-brain will be jolted with a surge of energy that gives her a rush, fuelled by power cells installed with the device, acting as a capacitor booster, granting her a temporary, but dramatic boost in power. Defence of green targets surges the Nanoengineers instead, healing her and restoring weapons ammunition more quickly. Destruction of Green (by her hand only) targets causes an immediate containment failure, venting her power source out to nearly nothing, just enough remaining to prevent complete destruction, so she goes lax and can be safely retrieved. Blue targets do nothing at all. As long as her sensors can pick up on the presence of the primaries of her mission, she can detect their presence, even through walls, buildings, and so on and so forth. Blocking the readings she is working off of will also block the Head-hunter device's functionality (including its benefits and drawbacks), but it will not stop her from fighting, of course, if already engaged, or stop the Inquisitor from working. If she detects a Red target, she will make its destruction a priority. If she detects a green target, its defence is likewise a priority.
Class III:
The Radiance effect, White Ghost: The entity that is Pariah's power source, the catalyst for the whole Pariah project, is a mysterious thing the best Zolan scientists are still working to figure out. It has an almost humanoid figure, but is unresponsive to attempts at communication, impervious, yet so fragile in its self-containment flaws that without Pariah, it would simply cease to exist. It is a being made of pure energy, pure L-photons. Truth is, why this Jenny personality even exists at all and has a free will has no explanation that satisfies them, but they are certain it has something to do with her power source. This splinter persona, with a will of her own, is a source of great worry. No matter what they have done to work around it, the cat comes back, so to speak. What is most worrisome, however, is not that she just has her own free will (they patched up that risk by making most of her combat abilities non-functional when Jenny is active), but that at times... something comes out. They call it the Radiance effect, this worrisome phenomenon. Containment sometimes fluctuates, fails momentarily. Maybe the head-hunter takes a hit, or the safeguards on Jenny's free will shake up a little. Whatever the cause, at times, Jenny manifests when she should not be able to, accompanied by a radiance visible for a great distance. Wings of L-Photons appear, and rather than override Pariah, Jenny works together with her, becoming her heart and free will, manifesting a persona that has become known as the White Ghost (Those that knew Agatha would recognize White Ghost to be like a more mature version of her).
Other Information:
Personality: Pariah has little personality to speak of. She is fearless for the simple fact she does not feel it, cruel because she has no heart, cold because there is no warmth in a machine. There is no wickedness, no sorrow, no anger, no joy in her... just a perfect soldier, a machine of death, a weapon of mass destruction. Jenny is another story. She is an emotional creature, simple and genuinely kind. She works hard, tries her best to help others with no regard for her own needs or well being. Quick to make friends, slow to forget them. She is innocent, has a pure heart that draws people to her. She is clumsy an calf-like in her movements, with about as much coordination as a brick (as in, antique stores, glass factories, and collectors of fragile objects the world over would, within a month, form a union of self-defence with the sole purpose of keeping her out).
Origins: The Pariah program was fuelled by the discovery of Site Theta at the north pole some four and a half years ago, in which they discovered the entity they call Pariah, and her sister, which they called Pandora, among many other alien artefacts of various natures... but that is just what most people know about the incident, if anything. Pariah is inhabited by a child of that alien race, long-since departed from Dragonia, a human child's essence, given a new form of life by her benefactors many years ago now. Her name is, or at least was, Agatha. Agatha first appeared in Dragonian history when the world was locked in the conflict against the magic mirror, and was involved in both its destruction and the wish that made things right once more. She appeared again in the public eye in the world tournament, in which she faced off against the last Samurai, Ryan, and was soundly defeated. The last time she was heard from was in a losing fight against the android, Hakuto, during the Extinction Saga in which she was damaged severely, then disappeared from the face of Dragonia.
Alliance: Jenny is good, Pariah has no feelings on the matter.
