Character Information:
Character's Name: Sen.
Character Race: Pariahim.
Gender: Female.
Hair Color/Style: Light violet, short, and wild!
Eye Color: red/violet.
Age: 4.
Height: Five feet nine inches.
Weight: 275-ish lbs (come on, she's made of metal ^^
Aura Color: Her Symbiote is a red-violet color, a lively sort!
Attire: She has no use for clothing beyond her armour, really, but as a Pariahim, she has great use for cosmetic things - Gemstones in particular. She will often wear a tiara or some such set with a precious stone, or a bangle with stones set in it she can just admire, mathematically calculating the way the light refracts just to amuse herself. She's a warrior as well as a thinker, so her jewellery is all practical and takes her construction into consideration - this makes it all very sleek, with small stones in favour of bigger ones.
Other Physical Features: [Alpha] - This is her appearance normally - Her hair is allowed to whip and run wild on her head, and her eyes, like precious stones themselves, glinting with observant wisdom set in their facets. She's graceful, and holds herself like a queen. She has soft parts, namely her face and midsection, but its a necessary humanity - she looks a bit like a woman in a suit rather than a true gynoid like most Pariahim do. She was designed to be attractive - it would help her quest (See profile image at the top of the page).
[Beta] - What was grace and beauty before the Beta armor was active has been twisted into a stark image of what Pariahim are capable of when they set to creating a warrior. This powered armor glints with light, and steam will rise from it in cold weather, reflecting the heat inherent to kinetic energy conversion and usage. At this point, the kid gloves are off, and civility has long since flown the coop. The Duranium plates of its construction unfurl from the Alpha plating in seconds when active, and Beta leaves little space for a blade. The best bet is massive bludgeoning impact, or magic when Beta armor is active... but no worries - it doesn't look like she can move so well in that armor... (Click here for the link to the image.)
Abilities:
She was designed to use the power of motion as her weapon - kinetic energy. With a specialized Capacitor designed to turn Kinetic Force into usable energy, and devices designed to change it back, she uses the force of her enemies against them. Her construction is still a prototype, with much room for improvement.
Race Abilities:
Duranium Construction - All Pariahim are built of a secret alloy known only as Duranium. Light, flexible, but stronger than any known metal on Noria, this material makes them naturally resistant to most natural, non-magical forms of damage (crushing, piercing, cutting, etc.)
Perfected Senses - Pariahim built themselves as close to perfect as they could, and one of the areas this is most evident is in their senses. Sight, smell, taste, touch, hearing, and the 'sixth' sense of energy-reading are completely adaptable to any situation and capable of what they call "molecular precision". (Meaning they are able to see, handle, hear, or feel even individual molecules if they wish.)
Upgrades - Other races grow and mature, then age and fade. Pariahim come to life fully mature, but this doesn't mean they can't improve. As a Pariahim's life moves forward and it gains experience, their systems gain access to increases functionality. By simply choosing what he wishes to become, a Unit can enact changes to his own system that even go so far as to alter his physical construction. Sen is especially modular, made to be upgraded.
Class I:
Alpha plates (AP): These are coil-loaded, thick duranium plates mounted into specific parts of her chassis, made to give a very little at casual touch, but applying force to them, like an attack, sends shock to her kinetic capacitor to be stored as energy. Her back is lined with Alpha plates, as are her legs, the backs of her hands, her sternum, hindquarters, forearms, and parts of her head. They are bigger, heavier plates, and appear as armour would on a normal person.
Beta plates (BP): These powered duranium alloy plates have impressive defensive capabilities - in exchange for the drain they place upon her Kinetic capacitor, the plates offer great protection to her, covering vital areas better than her normal duranium construction or AP would allow. The trick is, these retracting plates cover her AP and body so well that she can't absorb any kinetic energy with AP when they're active. While they themselves drain little to have active, using other kinetic abilities while using Beta Plates will quickly drain her, and this is almost a requirement - BP behave as if they are heavier when energized due to an electromagnetic field, thus making it harder to move. Due to the effect they have on her electronics, they can only be totally active or totally inactive, or the EM field will be harmful.
Highfeed: She can use her Kinetic Capacitor to provide power to her actuators and servos greater than she could normally manage with her core alone, allowing her to move faster and exert more force with her body (push her limits). Her chassis can only take so much of the heat and stress this produces, so she must use it in short bursts or risk damage. It depletes a moderate capacitor charge to activate a Highfeed session, and takes a good deal of concentration to do so safely.
Kinetic Burst: In high-tensile strength parts of her body, such as her arms, her back, and her heels, there are parts of her Alpha plating that can shift and move aside, to reveal circular devices. Normally hidden because they are generally fragile, these ports can expel great bursts of kinetic energy into the air (or whatever she's touching with the port). While this generates heat, limiting her to burst fire, bursts of this much concentrated energy is more than enough to affect her circumstances - such as firing bolts of rippling force from her palms, for example. This depletes her capacitor pretty quickly.
Vibroknuckles: Her melee weapon of choice, Vibroknuckles are weaponized mining tools, with heavy duty duranium spikes mounted on the front of a reinforced fist unit, made to withstand great force, the actual spikes vibrating at supersonic speeds. Originally designed to shatter through stone, the weaponized version has been refined, making the semi-sharp spikes deadly weapons against foes even clad in plate mail. They run well in compliment to her Kinetic capacitor, letting them keep up with their wielder, even as she uses Highfeed and Kinetic Bursts in combat. She rarely uses these - they're as deadly in battle as any blade, and represent her willingness to kill or seriously injure an opponent - Something no sane Pariahim will take lightly. This is her only lethal weapon.
Class II:
Vent Blast - Her body can only store so much kinetic energy in that capacitor. When a charge is given to it that would greatly overload it, instead of destroy her instantly via a sudden Capacitor explosion, a failsafe was installed - The Vent Blast function. This safeguard opens her AP (and deactivates BP, if its active), revealing Burst modules, smaller versions of the Kinetic Bursts in her arms, legs, and back. With immense and sudden force, all energy in the capacitor - the excess and every bit of a full charge - is suddenly spent in a flash bang-like blast that can blind, burn, and throw an opponent (and anything nearby). After venting, her armour closes again, and though unable to recharge her Capacitor for a few seconds, she is fully mobile and able to defend herself, while her opponent(s) might not be so lucky.
Class III:
N/A.
Other Information:
Personality: Sen is... well, if you can imagine a cross between a thrill seeking tourist with an undependable lust for new experiences, a gem-loving dragoness with a bad temper, Vash the Stampede, and a knight more than happy to rescue the next damsel in distress, you get a pretty screwed up picture right there, mate... but a pretty accurate one... Um... except for the straw hat, scales, and cruelty to animals. Her purpose and programming, combined with the last 4 (also the first four) years of her life, have made for an unusual unit. She's got wanderlust, and bad - since she was created, she's been home to her motherland maybe twice, and not by choice.
Sen is wise, not just observant, with the sort of warmness (and temper) that takes time to develop, not just a clever programmer. She's quick to hot flashes of anger and frustration, but just as quick to let it run through her fingers like water. Her emotions are authentic, honed and experienced many times until they're uncannily humanlike.
Right and wrong are black and white to her, giving her a chivalrous sort of attitude that can (will, and does) get her in trouble. She's quick to apply force to a situation, and absolutely loathe seriously hurting or killing a living thing, even when her own life is in danger. For her to use her Vibroknuckles, to strike with lethal force, there must be some greater purpose she sees in the situation, greater than her own survival.
Likes: Gemstones, a good fight (she seeks them on good terms, enjoying even if she's losing the fight), Teaching (Sometimes, this involves a fist upside the head and a swift kick in the ass.) riddles-puzzles-and-cryptograms (its like fulfilling her purpose, except on a tiny scale!)), sailing (If she can travel by boat, she will prefer it - something about the motions of a ship on the surf pleases her), an intelligent conversation (Its a chance to share knowledge), philosophy (Like reading a good book!), functional jewellery (if it isn’t, its useless), jokes (who doesn't like to laugh? Humour is fascinating to her), travelling (Again, wanderlust), and adventuring (Kind of goes with the disease).
Dislikes: Cowards (Why can't they own up and be brave? They'd be so much stronger, and they don't even know it!), cruel people (That’s just sick), jokes at the expense of others (The hell is the point of all that?), Arrogance (Don't you know that's painting a target on the back of your head?), Killing (What Pariahim doesn't?), brats (Oooohhh she hates bratty kids. She'll slap a mouthy, poorly disciplined child acting up without a moment's hesitation, no matter who's kid it is - children of the wealthy and powerful should be better disciplined to begin with!), dysfunctional jewellery and clothing (The hell is the point?), elitists (Hah, morons), ignorance (The ignorant bug her - She defines a moron as a person who has enough mental faculties to make up their own mind about things, but refuses to consider something new because it would mean they had to be wrong or something lame like that. This bugs her to no end), Zealots (see ignorance, except she's much more prone to beat the ever-loving crap out of zealots.)
Origins: Sen was designed, built, and chosen for one singular purpose - the quest for understanding. The intimacies of the humanoid soul, the unshakable, deathless strength of religion, the power of magic, the mystery of love, the ancient origins of the Pariahim, these are the sorts of questions she was made to chase. She's been living her life so far to the bill of a wandering philosopher, not just sitting in some temple contemplating. She experiences to gain enlightenment.
Alliance: Good!
