Abilities:
Race Abilities:
Aquai - The ability to make something reality through movement, music and writing is a unique ability of the Mekleor. While their power has weakened greatly in Civea through intermarriage, the purity of the group of pilgrims has preserved their power at its fullest extent. Basic Aquai gives the user control over one of the seven recognized elements: Light, Shadow, Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, and Nature (plants&some animals). The level of control one is able to exercise depends on his or her age and the time spent practicing. Mekleor do not choose an element to pursue, they are simply born with an affinity toward one of the seven. Aquai comes in three levels, or styles. Most Mekleor can only access the first, as the higher levels require tremendous natural ability as well as years of practice:
Eyes of Mekleor - Meklean eye color denotes the potential for, though not necessarily the possession of, one of four special types of sight. No one knows why some have these abilities and some do not, but it's attributed among the Mekleans as simply being Alagar's will.
Class I:
Enhanced Senses
Enhanced Speed
Enhanced Strength
Weapon Specialization: Sword(s).
Magical Talent (Choose Branch)
Branch Magic: Elementalist, Level – Advanced
~Primary Element: Air
~Secondary Element: Water.
Class II:
Invisible Shield - Vahn has a tendency to take souvenirs from enemies he has defeated. Most noticeably, he takes their swords from them. Through his elemental bending and high elementalist stature, Vahn has made a way for the blades to float around him using his main affinity, Air. Then, using his weaker element, Water, he makes a thin coat of water cover the blades and reflect light so that the blades appear to be invisible. This is a great defence against long ranged weapons but does little while up close.
Class III:
N/A.
Other Information:
Personality: Vahn is a serious by nature person and as most Mekleoran, is very studious and devoted to his art. His willingness to surpass all his peers has made him more competitive and his lack of satisfaction with being inferior has made him ill tempered to some extent. Aside from that, Vahn is sarcastic and calm among most other individuals.
Origins: The phrase, "Alagar's gifts are for peace, not competition," has haunted Vahn for most of his life. Vahn was one of the most gifted Mekleorans in generations and was happy being the top of the class in everything. People began to sing the praises of Vahn Stelfield, son of the two non Aquai blessed parents. When he was born and able to use Aquai, it was a confirmation of the blessings that Alagar gave to His special ones who were meant to be leaders.
When he was a child, Vahn adapted to his Aquai at age seven, a year before the expected age and once again the people praised his success. A couple of years later, his true eyes finally came in and he was, according to the people anyway, granted the gift of foresight. He, on the other hand, was more interested in having fun and enjoying his childhood by teasing his friends with bursts of wind that he would use to push and manipulate his games so he could win. At the time, they thought nothing of it since he was a child and was only looking to have fun.
The time came for him to come of age and become a man. In his thirteenth year of life, he was pushed above his would be peers and into an advanced class and continued to excel. This was all fine and dandy, until extracurricular activities came around. He was regularly a fine competitor, but most of the time he was also on the winning side. Actually, it was all the time until one particular person crossed his path. Jonathan was the only person who had ever bested him at anything, and it just so happened it was what he was supposed to be a prodigy at.
It was a game where the elementalists focussed their skills on getting a ball through an obstacle course. He was beaten, but beaten cleanly and there was no sportsmanship in his vocabulary. He became obsessed with beating Jonathan and tried again and again and again. It was more than he could handle and his need to compete and be the best began to overcome his character. The challenges continued until one day, Jonathan came up dead at the age of 16. It was a tragedy, but one that Vahn could only smile about.
For several years and into his early twenties, Vahn continued to excel over all who seemingly bested him. They all had similar accidents, but nobody else had lost their life. Eventually, the Archon got wind of all of the events and decided to keep a watchful eye on Vahn's actions. Vahn by this point in his life strove for competition and sought it from anyone and it impaired his own work ethic. He needed the competition and it pushed productivity away from those he worked with.
One of the Archon decided to challenge him in the same match that Jonathan had almost a decade ago. Vahn accepted the challenge confidently but quickly had his behind handed to him by the wiser, more experienced member of the Archon. It drove him insane! Vahn stalked the member and eventually tried to take his life one night but was stopped by him and the other members of the Archon. There was no other option, Vahn needed to be excommunicated and never allowed to return to their sacred land.
Vahn has since been on his own and wandering around Noria, pondering what has happened. With a smirk on his face, he vows to always be the best at what he does.

Most Mekleor can only access the first, as the higher levels require tremendous natural ability as well as years of practice:
- Level 1: Physical Aquai - It is impossible to explain how one wields the art called bending. It is more closely related to the will than the intellect, as once properly trained shaping or directing an element is as natural to an Aquiaist as moving a hand. This level allows one to control a small amount of elemental force for extended periods, or a large amount for a short time without tiring. The extent to which one can manipulate his given element depends only upon his natural ability, time practicing, and experience.
Eyes of Mekleor - Meklean eye color denotes the potential for, though not necessarily the possession of, one of four special types of sight. No one knows why some have these abilities and some do not, but it's attributed among the Mekleans as simply being Alagar's will.
- Foresight: Red-eyed Mekleor may possess the ability of Foresight. This allows one not to see the exact future, but to see all the possible outcomes of a given action. A skilled user can follow the possibilities to determine how to achieve a set goal, but the farther one looks into the future, the more possibilites exist and the more difficult it becomes to determine what may happen. This skill requires caution, as attempting to look too far results in the mind being flooded with exponentially increasing futures, resulting in simple fainting, temporary comas, insanity, or even death. When in use, one's eyes glow brighter red.
