Which is a real shame cause this was a reasonable role play board till everyone buggered off that is, so I've mostly been on other boards and even joined the Yu Yu Hakusho board that's advertised in the advert section though they don't have a whole lot of members or activity either. Also my Marvel Heroes board is close to death like this place is so most of my role playing is done on rpol, so I don't know what to do about this place as it seems that no ones besides ourselves wish to play anymore. So all I can suggest is if you want to continue role playing to some degree you're welcome to join me in two ventures I've been cooking up which will be two full story role play boards like this (Only in style not in story), one is a school based zombie one while the other is like a kick arse fantasy/pokemon game in a way that's never been seen  And if you're interested just give me a bell and I'd be glad to have you help me in said forum/s ventures |

Yeah. I wanted to see this place become a success, but I just think too many of us lead busy lives outside of the rp lol....
As for anymore rping, I'll keep checking back here in hopes of a revival; but I honestly think I'm finished with this hobby for now. Good luck with your boards, though.

Yeah I agree. It being down to just two people would be a tall order, even if those two people are yourself and I. Do you have any ideas in regards to others who could help us? I mean I could try and see if I could get any of the old members on board, but I hardly see them online anymore.
Hah, the man we'd REALLY want to help out would be Robbie, but I think there's about a one in a million chance he'd be up for it haha.
What aspect do you think would need to be re-done?

Honestly, I'd want to redo a majority of the sites content. One example would be condense everything down into one continent with about five nations, similar to how it was with the last revamp; and expand the world with each saga.
As for races, cut them down to four or five for now. Keep some of the ideas we have now, but add more detail and unique powers/abilities.
And when it comes to help, I'm useless here, sorry. I'd say just get back who we can and allow them to help. Otherwise hit up some RP help boards and see if anyone is interested in starting up a new site.

I agree with your points, everything you mentioned to be honest. The problem with all sites when they're starting out (and lets face it, that's what we'll be re-doing with SoN) is getting the IC size to member ratio just right - too big a IC area with too little members, or visa versa, and you get problems.
And as far as the races go, I agree. There are too many, with not enough description/race unique abilities. Even if we save some for a later date in the board, just add them as we add other countries - for example.
What I think also needs work is the application. I've always feared it's been too complicated, but I always feared changing; why change something that seemingly works? However, like you said almost everything needs to be re-done or revamped. Perhaps we can cut the application form down? Make it less complicated? I have a few ideas, especially in regards to the credit system too.
What I think we need to do is decide what we're going to focus on first. We can create a seperate thread per topic, to keep all information together and condensed. I'll create a special section on the site purely for the re-vamp topics.
So, where should we officially start?

Races would be the best place. The rest(world, app,etc.) is molded after them...so that would be the easiest. Though I would like to hear your ideas on the app and credit system as we begin.

You guys are lucky I listened to that niggling feeling I had about wanting to come and check if this place had some life to it cause I'd love to help this place get back to shape, and although I admit to not being the ancient member you guys are I'm no slouch when it comes to getting something out of nothing or general forum things.
Though I will say I have my share of activities that keep me occupied but I'm willing to spend what time I can helping this place return to the great place it once was, as for any ideas that I can offer well I think most of it's been said by you guys.
But if you like I'd be willing to help out with any form of smoothing, rectifying, changing things etc just point me in the direction and I'll see what I can do.
