Well, Kihaku pretty much has it. There's nothing there I disagree with; so no point in me arguing any of those topics.
I guess my only suggestion/complaint would be that story-wise, I'd love to see the SACs take up more active role. And, though I have no idea how it would be done, somehow promote the leaders of each country/realm to newcomers, so that they have a dedicated player behind them.
This leads me to another suggestion:
Personally, I want to see the current Lords of Hell disbanded and reformed under a new leader over the course of the story.

I think you hit the nail on the head absolutely dead on, Kihaku. I'm up for it.
I think Jimmy raises quite a good point, personally. The power of energy can be a massively destructive force on an environment, as we're all well aware in LoD. Therefore, creating such damage on the face of the planet would surely have it's consequences, good or bad, be it either from celestial forces or from state powers or whatever. It's just something to think about really.

Yeah, it's a very good point to make Jimmy, a point that I actually attempted to touch upon in my last saga - but as the saga didn't run smoothly enough it never really hit the surface - even so, I think we need to have a much greater stance on such things in the future of LoD.
And Mike, I agree with most of what you said. Like Matt, and you before him pointed out, in a compermise not everyone gets everything they want, which is perfect for the site. That's what makes LoD work so well, when it's alive, the balance of authority and democracy that we have here.

O.o;
Shite, everyone's happy with it? Out of everything, that was what I least expected.
X3
At any rate, I'm immensely pleased to say the least, the only thing is that we need to put it to the members how we want to use the credits and new applications (set powers vs. entirely credit-based). Probably the easiest way to combat strong current members picking on weaker new members, is we could keep our credit system as we have it, and simply award fewer credits. Doing so, I believe, would not only level the playing field, but also encourage posting and good writing.
During the Beastly Conspiracy, I awarded:
1 credit for every 4 posts
2 credits for every use of the Trinkets of Chaos
3 credits per Minion fought
4 credits per Doppelganger fought
5 credits for taking part in the final battle
6 credits for being pivotal to the plot of the saga
Each Saga could award credits in a manner similar, with as many tiers as one would like. I used six tiers for different events, arranged and awarded by difficulty. A Saga leader could have three, four, or even just two, however they prefer. By using this and making credits a more valuable comodity, I think it would solve that issue.
That's the only thing left undecided other than the Admin thing, which is currently underway. What do you all think?

Hehe, just when you think you know people, they turn around and surprise you. That credits system sounds good to me. As you said, it'll make people work harder for their credits if they want a technique bad enough. I say go for it. There's another thing I've been curious about, however; If someone has had more than one character before the reboot, do they get to keep both, or can they only have one or the other? Either way I don't mind at all, just something I was curious about.

Hmmm...that's an extremely good question Gary - though this may have already been settled in another thread on the site, this is the first thread i'm checking now i'm back.
Personally I think it'd be unfair to make people lose both of their characters, if they indeed had two, but then again having two characters may have been a contributing reason for why many people didn't post very much - not having the time and such. As such, my opinion on the matter is that if people did have two characters before, have the time to post with them both, and still wish to have two characters, then they should be allowed, but if they only want one character then thats also fine - but they shouldn't get the points from their other character added to their single one, otherwise it'd be unfair.

We'd like everyone to pick a single character to start with, and hold off posting with that second character, though in no sense would we try to take that character away from you completely. ^^
