Update – 12th June 2009

It’s been a while, but here’s what’s new:

• Site email – a site email went out to all current members of the forum no more than 30 minutes ago. I’m sure all of you have seen this email already, if not there’s no need to worry as I will be going over all the important stuff that it focused on within this thread, but for those of you who haven’t seen it here is what it said:

  I know it has been a fair amount of time since there was any large amount of activity on the site, this has come about for many reasons, but hopefully it won’t continue for much longer! I am now fully dedicated to bringing in new members, keeping activity up, and reviving the site to its former glory – nay, surpassing its former glory!
  
  Due to some technical issues the saga that had just been started will not be continued to its full extent for a foreseeable amount of time, or until the issues are resolved with a reasonable solution. This may be soon, though it may be quite some time as well. In the mean time I urge you all to continue on as you have been, posting and treating us all to some spectacular writing ability.
  
  Despite the lack of activity and direction I have seen some excellent writing and some even better ideas from all of you – I would love to see some more of the same, and perhaps even taking the small group of members on some of these tangent ideas.
  
  Due to a lack of activity from the Admin team, myself included, I have appointed a new Admin to help me cope with the workload – Vahn. I will be working as hard as I can, alongside Vahn, to bring back the site that we all want to see and be apart of!
  
  Returning members are MORE than welcome, even if you’ve been away from a very long time. In fact it would be an honour to have you return to the site. It’s always good to see old friends again.
  
  In the mean time I repeat, please do try to be as active as you can – though the Admins pull the string, without loyal members like yourselves no site can flourish or survive.
  
  Hope to see you all on the site in the near future!

• New Admin – Vahn (or Jason as some of us know him) has officially been given the position of Admin. It was a tough decision with several people considered and approached for the role, but in the end Vahn was picked for his previous and current dedication to the site, among other things. I hope that with his help the site will be able to run far more smoothly and efficiently.
  
  
• Current Saga – The current saga that had just begun has already run into some technical difficulties, not a particularly good sign. Brandon (Mike) who was the saga Moderator and running this particular saga has not been active in quite some time, and as far as I am aware has no intention of returning in the near future (though this is only an assumption). If he does not return then the saga will have to be dropped and something else put in its place. Obviously this brings forward several problems for the site, especially In Character, but it is nothing that we can’t work through/around.
  
  In the meantime I suggest continuing on as we have been, posting amongst your small groups, interacting with each other and simply keeping some general dialogue going – perhaps explore some of the surrounding area that you are now within? Maybe something happens to your group on the way to Steffson? Anything is possible and your limits are your own imaginations.
  
  What I will be doing is confirming the status of the current saga by attempting to get in contact with Brandon, discussing possible solutions with my fellow Admin and attempting to get something in place as soon as possible.
