I was wondering. There are SO many books, animes and video games being turned into films right now (just look at Metal Gear Solid or the upcoming Dragonball for example?) I was wondering what it'd be like if there was a live action Legends of Dragonia film! But then, after i calmed down from thinking how cool it would be, I started to think, what would the storyline be? There have been SO many personal storylines on LoD, and so many sagas, what would the first LoD focus on?
Lets have some suggestions!

To be honest, if you wanted to make any kind of cohesive story about LoD, the only suggestion I would have would be to make it Mortal Kombat-esque.
If being completely true to character wasn't an issue, then it would be easier to manage. Certain characters could be warriors in a pre-existing army, or perhaps characters like Kihaku could be an assassin of some kind.
It would be a debaucle behind the scenes, I think.

I don't know, I think it'd be possible to work a proper film out of it, though it would have to only focus on a few main characters - the other members characters would have to be smaller, supporting ones.
You'd have the start of the film to bring the main characters, introduce them, then you'd be able to introduce the main problem (bad guy/s), and so forth and so forth.
I guess there'd be a LOT to fit in though.

I dunno, could do the Mirror of Pockus story, that could involve everyone, but it'd probably be an Ova style thing, designed for people who already know all about it.
Either that or the current arc, that'd be a decent kick off point.

See, Ryan, that's the problem. Who's to decide who the 'main characters' are? To each his own, which is more true here than anywhere else, I would say.
The only thing truly required would be a main villain, and everyone involved to be affected or connected to him in some way. Though the stories start off at many different points, they would come together at the grand finale. Or wouldn't, maybe there would be several parallel stories that are connected by whatever is going on globally. Deep Impact is a perfect example of such an attempt done right. That, I think, would be the best way to treat it.
Since we're on the subject, who would you pick of real, live actors to play the roles of your characters? I need to give this some thought myself... hmm...

I dunno.... even though he scares me Johnny Depp could probably pull off Rizuk.
Or Kenichi Matsuyama for his appearance.

Jeremy Irons might be good for Kihaku... Kiera Knightly for Elena... Nathan Kress would be a good Reiaz. Edward Norton would make a kick-ass Dramanius.
I'd play Brandon, of course.

I think Depp would be able to pull of the look of Ryan and Loki, because they'd both have to be played by the same person of course! Hmm...Though I think John Cusack would make a good young Ryan, and Jeremy Irons an older Ryan. Personally though I'd love to play them both  don't have the body though, yet., but personality wise I have them down to a fine point! Oh man, you know what, we should SO do this! Not seriously of course, but what a side-project! Get this, we play our own characters, like film bits of dialogue on our web cams and stuff, and attempt to make a semi-decent short film thingy! Don’t you think that’d ROCK?! It'd end up being SO bad it'd be good! |

I suck at AMV's >_< but I may know someone, who isn't on the site anymore, that MAY have that kind of software. But while i'm finding out such things, lets plan it! *jumps about like a fangirl*
What shall we make the little storyline? And who wants to be in it (has a camera to be able to film it)?

Actually... if we all got Mics and a decent artist to draw each character we could just voice act each one and use the pictures to show who's talking. Remember the things Kilix used to do when we were made Saga Mods? Just pictures of our characters and some scene of devestation.

Well how about we do Mike's last saga? With Dramanius? That was a pretty good saga, with lots of action too. I'd suggest the extinction saga, but it's TOO complicated for a mini film by us |

Well, I got a sort of idea... less a movie more just an idea for something to do.
Anyone read Order of the Stick? How about just sticking all the LoD crew together in a group and performing the normal stock quests of Role-playing games only... as our stupidly powerful and wantonly destructive characters. Might need some toning down, and making fun of ourselves, but...
Can you imagine someone sending our characters to kill rats in the cellar? Picture it...
