The Saiyans, as a race, had thought to have been completely wiped out many eons ago when their planet exploded. There are many theories to exactly how their planet exploded, but the facts have become watered down throughout the years. However, a few of the Saiyan race somehow managed to survive the destruction of their home world and their people, and slowly but surely the Saiyan race was once again rebuilt over hundreds and thousands of years. Of course the race isn’t what it once was, as the bloodline has been mixed with several different species over the years, but the Saiyans do not lack their pride, their hunger for battle, and most of all their strength.
Lunos, Dragonia’s moon. A pocket sized world. An inhabitable wasteland, barren from all forms of flora and fauna, impossible to colonize upon or fertilise it’s earth; fact or fiction? Facts from the past, but as many upon Dragonia and within the universe would soon find out, sometimes fact and fiction come hand-in-hand, especially in the case of Lunos, Dragonia’s only moon. Everything that had ever been dictated as fact about Lunos was true. It was a barren wasteland that didn’t even house the necessary amounts of elements within the air to allow the average being to breath in it’s atmosphere, but had, or would, such a thing ever have stopped a race like the Saiyans from colonizing the small planet and making it their home? Apparently not, as that’s exactly what happened in the past.
It had been from the Dragonian moon that Turgor, armed forces leader of the Lunosian Saiyans, had originally mobilized their army for the invasion of Dragonia, in retaliation for the assassination of their beloved leader Patota. Every Dragonian that survived that horrid period in the planets history will remember what then happened next, but the war passed, Turgor was killed, and life on Dragonia returned back to normal safe in the knowledge that the warriors of the planet had run the Lunosian Saiyans out of their solar system, the remaining remnants of the Lunosian Saiyans living in peace upon Dragonia. But the past rarely does not come back to haunt you…
It had been a relatively short trip to Lunos, but a somewhat cramped one in his one-man space pod, nothing he wasn’t used to though. Although it had only been a few months since the wars end, the place that the Lunosian Saiyans had called home for many years was already in tatters without the usual maintenance from the Saiyans to keep everything up and running. Moving through the complex Demos came to a docking bay, but more so the area where the escape pods resided, but all that remained of this area was the battleground were Seriyu, Aiedan and Ryan had fought and killed Turgor.
It must have been a spectacular battle to cause this much destruction. he thought briefly as he moved through a narrow corridor, stepping over rubble and pieces of jagged metal that had broken away, before stopping in the middle of the room and taking in his surroundings. He tried to imagine just how the three Dragonians had handled themselves against the legendary power of Lord Turgor. He had quickly heard word through the ranks of the capture of all three of the Dragonians and knew that despite all the Saiyans that they had killed in an attempt to save themselves, their power, even if they attacked together, didn’t even come close to that of lord Turgor, but yet they had defeated and killed him. It was an impossible thought to process to a logical outcome. He knew there and then that he would not be able to come to any conclusion that would satisfy him, so dropping the thought from his mind he pressed on through the complex.
The air was stale. He could taste the dust with every breath. Demos stood in the doorway of a blackened room, the only light within the room being that of the small amount which was seeping from behind Demos’ bodily frame from the corridor behind him. Slowly he fumbled about with his arm in an attempt to find the light switch, and in a brief moment of frustration he slammed his fist against the wall to the right of the door and sure enough the light turned on. Row by row the lights that covered the ceiling of this room illuminated it, or at least the few that were still functioning, their light shining off of several metallic objects within the room.
However, the most distinguishing features within this room were the water filled, bubble like capsules that almost filled the room, the room being roughly the size of a small star ship hanger. The bubbles numbered at exactly one hundred and within each of them resided a man or women, completely naked, their Saiyan tail floating behind them. It seemed the sudden change of light within the room had sparked some sort of reaction from within the bubbles, as each and every one suddenly began to pulsate a golden glow. “…Astonishing…” the power was radiating from the bubbled warriors. Demos thought back to when he was first debriefed on these warriors by Turgor.
“A few years ago, roughly, the Saiyan army known as the Elites was split in two. Though voluntarily. Half entered an experiment to alter the DNA of the exceptional warriors to create an ultimate Saiyan being, a genetically enhanced Saiyan. Through the course of the experiment the Saiyans who had volunteered were expected to gain strength, speed, endurance, every sense of them was to be far more advanced than any other Saiyan to ever exist - even myself. And all this without the use of transforming too…but alas, it wasn’t achieved exactly as planned. The Saiyan blood rejected the enhancements, several Saiyan warriors died in the process, and the survivors lost their sanity. It wasn’t until we captured the three Dragonians during the war that we made any progress in the experiment. Using samples of their blood we infused it with the elites altering them, their natural abilities, along with some un-natural abilities, to be even stronger than ever believed. We had created Genetically-Altered Elite Saiyans, a hybrid race…we named them the "Super Elites" . The only downside is their unstable minds, believed to be brought on by the sheer power that their bodies had to compensate for. That and the fact that these Saiyans have never been in battle to test their newfound powers.”
It felt only yesterday that he had heard such things. At first Demos felt outraged that their lord, Admiral Turgor, would even think about crossing Dragonian and Saiyan blood, weakening and desecrating their sacred Saiyan bloodline, but over time he began to see it as a necessity. Did lord Turgor know of the fate that the Saiyan army, and seemingly himself, would meet? Had these “Super Elites” been a back up plan all along in case the worst happened? It just might have been the case. At any rate there was still a lot to do, the super elites still weren’t ready. Slowly Demos reached inside a pocket on the chest of his top and pulled out a small test tube filled with a crimson liquid, blood.
“I think these super elites have room in their DNA structure for one last person.” and with a wirily smirk he began his work.
