It was far from the city, in a sprawling green hills. The sky was a crisp lovely blue, scattered white clouds did nothing to withhold the beautiful bright rays of sunshine. Birds chirped as they passed low over the tall grass in search for some food. Rabbits ran through the grass from one hole to another. All was peaceful. Until that is...
It seemed odd at first, like a ripple in the air. Like looking at raising heat. Then it seemed to stretch, as if something were pulling at the air, like it was made of elastic. Electrical charges started bouncing around this unnatural occurance. The electicity built up around this oddity until it finally let loose a loud burst crack, hitting the ground with enough force to make a large crater. Dust and dirt flew upwards, shrouding what was once there. As the haze dissapated, a figure stood from a crouching possition. The figure was small, about 5 feet high at the most.
Through the mist, the figures eyes opened, bright green in one, bright purple in the other, seeming to pierce through the dust before the rest of him was fully visable.
Out stepped a young boy, his light blue hair looking even brighter with the high noon sunlight. His face was kind as he smiled at the scenes around him. On his back was strapped a long sheeth. In a voice that sounded so pure and kind, he spoke. "I've arrived."
Welcome, Dragonia, the young boy, the Voice of Chaos.

Quite suddenly, Kihaku and Elena both stiffened, their faces turning in the exact same direction in unision, the effect was almost feral, like animals hearing some threat approaching that normal ears aren't able to pick up. Elena shot to her feet, her eyes going to Kihaku who looked at her with a genuinely confused look.
"Shota, Shizuka, Kihaku and I just felt someone tap into our source of power, and since we only know four people able to do so, this is a bit of a big deal. We have to go."
Kihaku moved from his spot while Elena helped the Angel to her feet, there to support her if she needed it. Kihaku, meanwhile, pulled his unique black glass Yang talisman from the pouch on his belt. Holding it in his clenched fist, he imbued it with a given intent, then tossed it to the floor. It hovered several inches above the carpet, spinning like some kind of crazed magnet for several moment before it exploded with indigo light, a circle with a six-pointed star forming on the ground beneath it, five feet in diameter.
The Yang Talisman shot back to Kihaku's hand, and he motioned for the girls to follow him. When they all stood on the symbol for the OtherRealm, Kihaku powered up and initiated his Shadow Transmission, simultaneously transporting the entire group.
---------------------------------------------------------
The change in scenery was stunning, the gloom of the inn seeming like a bad dream compared to the bright sunshine, the clear blue sky, and the large crater with what appeared to be an adolescent boy in the center.
The quartet appeared with no more startling an arrival than a breeze of smoke, and with all the dust in the air it didn't make much of a difference anyway. Kihaku was the first to step forward, Elena hanging back with Shizuka just in case this entity turned out to be malignant in nature.
Hood raised, burning red eyes glaring from the depths of the blackness, Kihaku strode forward with his right hand resting on Nirvana's hilt. The closer he drew, the more he felt as if this were a person he should recognize, the memory floating just beyond his mind's reach.
Coming to a halt near the crater's edge, "Who are you?"
Elena sighed at how Kihaku was masterfully handling the situation.

Shota hung back, close at side to Shizuka and Elena, not sure what was happening. Someone who could tap into the Other Realm the same way Elena and Kihaku did. Did that mean this other person, this... child, was a Chaos Spirit?
----
Below, the boy floated upwards, coming closer to the group, his light blue hair standing out. The boy made it to the top of the crater, his eyes meeting Kihaku. There was a moment of thought before the boy's eyes brighted, the green and the purple standing out starkly, his smile and eyes would remind everyone around of someone very dear to them.
"Kihaku Sagaku?" the young boy spoke in a whisper. "I must speak with you alone," he said looking to the others. His eyes looked to Shota and Shizuka though the look on his face said he didnt fully know who these two were, but when his eyes reached Elena, they seemed to brighten a little more. He looked back to Kihaku. "It's very important. I'll answer all your questions, every last one, but I need to speak with you alone."
The young boy began floating backwards slowly, a kind hearted smile on his face. One of happiness at seeing people he had been waiting a long time to see. He reached the other end of the crater and stopped. His feet landing softly on the ground.

Kihaku looked back to Elena who nodded in agreeance. Looking back, the young boy was already on the other side of the crater, so rather than take his eyes from the youth, Kihaku disappeared like a breeze of smoke, instantly reappearing in the same manner directly across from the young man's gaze, five feet seperating them.
Kihaku had many questions running through his mind, and few plausible answers. This youth was obviously drawing power from the Blackforce gates in the same manner Kihaku and Elena do, yet neither of them had seen this boy in their entire existence. Still, his odd-colored eyes were strikingly like those of Chameleon, too similar to be just coincidence. Now that they would were seperated from the other three, he might very well get those answers.
"Again, who are you, and how do you know who I am?"

The boy gave a soft smile, looking at the man standing before him. "My name is Eko," he said with a nod. "Eko... Roughnight," he said finally. "I am the Voice of Chaos, as you are the Eye. This may all be very difficult to understand or to believe, but I assure you that everything is true. I am from the future, about 12 years from this present date. I am the son of the... monster you call Chameleon," he said his smile vanishing.
His eyes looked away momentarily and then back to the tall man. "I'm sorry, as I understand, Chameleon is a nice person, though all from what I've known from him is a cruel monster. My mother's name is Elena," he said looking briefly to the other Chaos Spirit across the crater.
"This is all very important. In my time, Chameleon has destroyed most of Dragonia. What hasn't been destroyed has been tainted by his touch, the remaining people live in fear and in hiding. No one alive is any match for his power. He's destroyed every fighter on Dragonia, except for my mother."
He looked away, his eyes portraying the saddness of his every day life. Soon from now, his first kill will come. He will kill my aunt Shota and shortly after, an Angel known as Shizuka. He destroyed them first because they had the knowledge to heal." He looked up at Kihaku again, determination in the boy's eyes could be easily seen as the determination of Elena, the resolved look she has when she had her mind set on something.
"You have to believe me on this Kihaku, there isn't much time. It was around that time that he... that I was concieved," he said, choosing his wording carefully, not wanting to say 'rape'. "My mother says that you and Chameleon battled after that, for six days straight, non-stop, and you almost killed him, but Chameleon was able to destroy you first. There is no cure known to you of how to cure Chameleon from the Dark Matter. There is a special technique that my mother learned late in her pregnancy, after you were killed. It banished dark matter from this world. Thats how she was able to bear me into this world without me being infected like my father. But with you dead, and most of the other fighters in Dragonia gone, there was no one left who would be able to bring Chameleon's power down far enough to banish the Dark Matter. Currently, at prime health, this technique wouldnt work. Chameleon has to be close to death. You were the only one who was able to accomplish this, it was just too soon..."
Eko took a breath and sighed. "The only strong fighters left on Dragonia after I was born was my mother, who had lost her will to fight, as well as live after everything that had happend, my Uncle Reiaz, and a few other fighters, I believe one's name was Kilix, but he didn't last long. He attacked and killed each fighter separate, so they couldn't team up against him."
"Uncle Reiaz trained me how to fight," he said, reaching behind him on the long sheeth, pulling something out. It glowed as it was pulled, and it seemed as if the weapon pulled out couldnt possibly fit within the sheath, but there he held a large scyth, black as night, the blade tipped with a pure white. It vibrated in his grasp, a vibration that Kihaku would know very well.
"My mother and uncle took your Nirvana and Oblivion weapons and forged them together to create my weapon, Heaven's Oblivion." he said holding it next to him. It looked too big for the young Chaos Spirit, but at the same time, it seemed perfect in his grasp.
"About a month ago, in my time, Chameleon began what is known as Armageddon, the End of Days. That's when my mother and Uncle Reiaz had to do something. Chameleon had released the gate that you placed on him, a gateway between the Other Realm and this one. He was not only opening the gate, though, he was using his power to tear it down, to destroy the viel that separated this world from the Other Realm. As you may know, they are anti-existances. They cannot exist in harmony. He wasn't only destroying Dragonia, he wanted to destroy life entirely." he said looking back towards the center of the crater.
"I'm still not sure how it worked, but my Uncle Reiaz and my mother had managed to open a rift in space and time, to send me back here. They wanted me to warn you, and you specifically, of the events that will unfold. And, they also taught me the technique I needed to banish the Dark Matter from Chameleon, to stop the End of Days." Eko sighed, putting Heaven's Oblivion back in it's sheath.
"My name is Eko Roughnight, the Voice of Chaos, son of Chameleon and Elena. I am here to save you."

Kihaku listened with rapt attention, his burning red eyes never leaving the youth's face. A million questions were running through his head as Eko spoke, and as each one was answered, ten more cropped up in its place. All of the information burning through his mind as it raced to be analyzed, he struggled to keep his exterior calm, but when the boy let loose the information that Chameleon, the young man whom he cared for like a little brother, who now stood on the precipice of becoming the greatest killer Dragonia had ever known, would kill his own teacher.
When Eko drew forth his weapon, Kihaku's eyes widened and his heart froze. He felt the tell-tale emanations of Chaos Energy flow from its core, and when it gave a shake, Kihaku's hands flew to his own weapons. Just in time, he caught them, the Oblivion's blade fully extended, quivering against the Spirit's hand, begging for freedom, the Nirvana half-drawn from its own sheath, crying for release. He held them a moment longer before they calmed, slowly returning to their dormant state before he relinquished his grip on them.
He listened for a moment longer as Eko's story drew to a close, and even after he finished he remained silent as he contemplated the repercussions of the young man's tale. If what he said came to pass, then it wouldn't matter if Eko came back into the past or not, so long as Chameleon was loose upon the planet, there would be no peace.
"No... I am not the Eye of Chaos. A long time ago I was, but the Beast is long since dead... which is why your title intrigues me. Child of Chaos or not, you cannot be deemed the voice no more than I can the eye... or your mother the hands."
He crossed his arms over his chest, his emotions again under control, and his mind made up.
"I welcome you Eko... I just pray you came in time."

Eko rubbed his chest for a moment and then lowered his collar, exposing this Mark of Chaos that dubbed him the Voice. "If the Beast is dead, then why do I have a Mark?" he said with a tone that suggested he thought long and hard on this. "If the Beast is destroyed, then it wouldn't make sense that I would have a Mark. My hypothesis on this matter is that perhaps the Beast is merely dormant, I could be wrong though," he added in quickly. "And that's not important at the moment anyways."
He looked back over to the group at the far end. "We can't tell them everything, you know," he said looking back to his uncle. "Especially my mother, though I dont know what we can do to convince her otherwise. We can't just tell her I randomly popped here, and that I'm her son. That will cause a lot of problems. I look too much like my father..." he said closing his eyes. "Any ideas?"

((short post, sorry, couldn't be bothered to color the letters either.))
Kihaku didn't even shrug, he simply turned away and began to walk back around the crater. He was wondering why he would want to keep this a secret from the female spirit, a companion as close to his own heart as a sister, and realized that it might cause her to abandon her normal warrior's instincts and give cause for her to act irrationally to protect Eko.
"You needn't be her son, simply a descendant will suffice. I also believe it will not be necessary to tell them about the bleakness of the future, better to give them hope and say that you came back in time at the behest of your family to do as history has recorded and save us from Chameleon, your ancestor." He fell back to match his pace with the young man, his height giving him an obvious stride advantage. "Is that sufficient enough to you?"
It was odd, but for some inexplicable reason, Kihaku felt that he could trust the young boy. Despite his obvious age deficiency and a deduced lack of true battle experience, Kihaku could feel his bond to the Blackforce Gates, and from this he could believe whole-heartedly that Eko would prove to be invaluable in the coming days.

Eko smiled up at Kihaku as he followed. "Yes sir, and my mom also told me to ask of you to train me a little more. She said something about Shadow Clones that my... Chameleon was able to perform so it should be easier for me, but the way Uncle Reiaz taught me, I couldnt really do. She said to ask you, and to tell you she says hi and she misses you incredibly." He looked away for a moment, his smile fading. He shook his head and brushed off the sadness from his eyes.
"Lets go meet the family I never knew."

Kihaku nodded at the boy's request for training, considering they were quite lieterall family, it was the least he could do for the young Chaos Spirit. They were just coming around the final bend when the tall Spirit motioned for the others to come near, that the young man indicated as no threat to their health.
When they were all assembled a little ways from the crater, Elena began to look curiously at the young boy, as if she recognized him but couldn't place his face to a specific time. Kihaku cleared his throat, drawing everyone's attention.
"Everyone, this is Eko Roughnight. He has come from the future, apparently, and wishes to aid us in our efforts in curing Chameleon of the malignant spirit that took hold of his body." Kihaku turned his face towards the smiling young boy before giving a sigh and a shrug, as if it was still difficult for him to fully believe. "Elena, Shota, you obviously recall someone else having the same color eyes?"
They nodded in agreement.
"That is because he is a direct descendant of Elena and Chameleon's children."
A shock ran up Elena's spine, her jaw going slack and her face losing all expression except for complete awe and disbelief.
"Wh-what!? But that- geh!?"
"In the future, we will succeed in curing Chameleon of the Dark Matter, and in doing so ensures his birth in future generations... a mortal Chaos Spirit it would seem. He came back to us to make sure time follows the correct path, and that we purge Dragonia of the Dark Matter."
He looked down at Eko with a harsh glare.
"Right, boy?"
