Her long white hair flapped behind her as her cold blue eyes examined the message left for her. The note gave only a few details to help her know who the hell she was and where she is. The note read:
"River, you dont know me anymore, but I know... or should I say 'knew' you very well. As far as everyone knows, your dead. To die at such a young age of 20. Maybe it's for the best, as you said. If you are reading this, you must have landed on a planet called Dragonia. You must live your life accordingly now. You don't recall anything about yourself because that's the way you wanted it. A fresh start.
You might have the compulsion, but don't try and figure out anything of your past. Just go on with your life as you are now. Live something normal... just live. Attatched are some things you need to remember about yourself. Certain abilities you may have that others may not. Keep this secret from all others, for if they dont know what your capable of, then they would be hesitant to cause trouble"
River read this note a few more times before looking to the attatched paper, confused at what she was reading. This certainly explained why she didnt know where she was or even WHO she was. She knew these things the moment she read them, but for the life of her she couldnt recall ever having learned how to do these things.
She let go of the note, using her telekinesis to hold it in place as she turned back to the space pod she figured she had arrived in. It was a creamy white color, sleek, almost fancy looking. It had the distinct shape on an egg. Figured suitable for her since she was emerging to a new life.
She was just about to search the pod for anything before it seemed to shake. With a few trembles, it collapsed, breaking apart into tiny peices, each chunk falling off and then dicentigrating on the ground into dust before the wind picked it up, sweeping away any information that could have been in there away.
River turned back and grabbed the piece of paper still floating, folding it up nicely and putting it in her breast pocket. She was wearing a full array of what seemed like battle armor, though very lightweight. It's main color seemed to be white, a few dark gray and black was at the shoulders, elbows, and leggings, everything else fit very tight to her skin, showing off what looked like a delicate frame, though it couldnt be further from the truth. She knew she was strong, she could cause so much damage had she the mind, but she didnt want to. She had no reason.
At her side was a black leather pouch. Upon opening it she found quite a few small capsules. The notes on them clearly stating what it contained. Her clothes to change, a few of them had food, and one said it contained materials that she could exchange for money. She pulled the flap back down looking at her surroundings.
She seemed to be in some sort of meadow, though she could see, bearly visable against the dusk sun, a city. That would have to be her first place. She would need to find shelter and food, and whatever kind of money this planet used, she'd need em.
"This is going to be a long journey," she muttered under breath as she began her walk. She could certainly fly but she wanted to make close note of all her surroundings. She needed to know her new home.

The walk to the capitol city of Jartus wasn't as difficult as she thought it might be. The city was large, feeling a bit too cramped for River's liking, but she needed to find shelter and food, her stomach was growling.
The sun had finished it's day off by falling over the horizon not long ago. At certain moment within the trees, River had to use her Dark Light ability to light her way through the canopy. The path was easy to make out though it wouldnt do her very well to sprain her ankle catching a hole. She should have flown but the night air was still somewhat peaceful.
The city streets werent exactly abandoned. It was well lit along the street and people sat here and there, either closing up shop or in terms of local inns and pubs, throwing out drunks. She spotted a shop that was still open during this late hour. The shop seemed to be on the high end, full of valuables. Not knowing exactly what she had, she figured it wouldnt hurt to see if she could sell something in there.
With a couple more steps, River was yanked to the side by a pair of men in dark clothing. They reaked of alcohol and seemed ready to get themselves some pretty meat.
"Hey baby, arent you the pretty one. What are you doing out here during the evening hours. If you want to keep that face of yours pretty, you'll hand over your bag there," said one man as he pulled out a small blade from his hip pocket.
The other man pulled out a blade as well, though he said no words. The look on his face said plainly that he didnt think this would a good idea or very honorable.
River fixed the man with the flapping jaws with a cold stare. The knife from the man's hands flew from his grip, plunging itself into his shoulder causing him to roar out in fright. Scared, the silent man went after her, swinging the blade around in an arc towards her face.
River's hand reached up, grasping the man around the wrist, stopping the blade a couple inches away. With a simple flick of her hand, she broke his wrist, the snap of the bone ringing loud in the alley way. Both men were screaming stepping back from her.
River took a final glance at the two before turning around and walking back onto the street. She could still hear their screams of pain as she arrived at the door to the shop. "Weak fools," she mutterd as she opened the door.
The shop was ligned with many different kinds of artifacts, some looking priceless to simple things such as maps or simple staves and canes. The old man sitting behind the counter reading a piece of paper didnt look up, but answered in a voice that may have been a bit louder than needed, "We're closed"
"The sign says your open," she said walking up to the counter anyways fishing through her bag, finding the capsul containing the items to sell. "I want to sell you some things," she said pressing the button.
The capsul erupted in a plume of white smoke that just as quickly faded. In it's place sat a long sheet of what looked like a large, pure white, gem. By itself it looked priceless, something that would certainly draw a lot of buyers to this little shop.
The old man glanced up from his paper and then back down, as if he was playing at disintrest. What failed him was the fact that his eyes bolted back up at the gem. "Where on Dragonia did you get that?" he asked in a much smaller voice as he took out a magnifying glass expecting it closer.
"It matters not, if you dont want it I'm sure I can find someone else who will," she said grabbing the gem.
"No no! I just wanted to examine it a little more. You are right though," he said as if she had told him it's worth, "It isn't anything I've ever seen, must be... well..." he said looking back at the door as a man walked in, looking at some of the valuables in the window case. "How's this price fair?" he said writing a very nice number on the sheet of paper. This would keep her well off for a long time. Enough to start her own life. Besides, River was not a very greedy person.
"It sounds fair," she said giving him a nod.
The man bent low, pulling out a pouch, though where he pulled it from was beyond her. She grabbed the bag measuring how much was in there, closing it and gave him a polite boy. "Pleasure doing business with you sir," she said moving towards the door.
River exited the building, not caring to stay in the cramped shop. She was tired and just wanted to get some food and a good nights sleep. She would figure out what to do on the morrow. Tonight, she was going to doze off into a dreamless sleep, for River couldn't dream. The most she could do was enter another's dream. She was the dream girl.

"There, she should be all better, looks like when one of your chickens pecked her she recieved an infection," Chameleon said looking down at the girl lying asleep in bed.
"Thank goodness you came by doctor," said the girls father shaking his hand with vigor. "I thought my little girl was going to die from it, you brought us a miracle, thank you."
"Oh, I'm not a..." Cham trailed off in thought but stopped himself. He was about to tell the man that he wasnt an actual doctor, but it did bring him quite a bit of pride being called one. "Just make sure she stays safe and not go playing with those chickens if she's not getting the eggs. If she does get a scratch from now on, make sure she cleanes it well with soap and water, and then wrap it up if you can. Just keeping it clean does wonders."
For the next twenty or so minutes Chameleon and the man argued over payment. The problem was, the man wanted to pay Cham, and he didnt want payment. Cham knew they were a poor farming family and Cham really didnt need the money, so he left without payment, the man telling him that he's welcome to stay at their home any time he wished.
Chameleon left the small wooden house looking out at the setting sun in the far distance. This is what made him happy. Being able to cure people of their ailments, not fighting and causing people to need cures for their ailments. At that moment he really missed Kihaku and Elena. They seemed so far away, though he could find them any time he wanted, he just had to search for their auras. But Cham needed more time, he needed to find his way a little more... figure out what was wrong with him.
That small procedure, the curing of an infection, took longer than it should have for Cham's Channeled Force ability. It should have only taken a minute or so, tops, but it took him 6 whole minutes to complete it. That worried him the most.
Cham took off down the dirt road, his eyes meeting the large capitol city of Jartus, knowing he could find shelter there for the evening. He could have stayed with the family but they were poor enough without having to worry about filling Cham's bottomless pit of a stomach.
It had just gotten sundown as he found the inn, not noticing that a little ways in back of him, a white haired girl was teaching some men proper manners.
Cham walked up to the innkeeper, he was dressed in his now usual dark forest green cloak, so only his bright colored green and purple eyes could be seen from underneath the dark hood. The man looked nervous as Chameleon paid the money for a room on the next floor, somehwere where it might be quiet, he wanted a good nights rest.
After recieving his key, Cham climbed the stairs, finding his room number and walked himself inside, finding a lightly furnished bedroom. A oak bed in the corner next to the window, a small wooden night stand next that held a lantern. Across the small room against the wall was a simple oak desk with a chair to sit in. Other than that, it was bare, the way Cham preferred it. Too many fancy things got one to be too used to being spoiled, a bad thing. He sank quickly in the bed, thinking of his final thoughts of Kihaku and Elena.

River was just about to fall into her dreamless slumber when she felt the presence of someone elses dreams cream around. She turned to the wall of her bedroom and placed her hand to it. On the other side, someone was having a dream, she could feel it. River tilted her head slightly as he eyes seemed to fog over, her spirit flittering through the wall and into the mind of the young Elicoorian in the next room.
Within the dream, she saw 3 figures standing, talking to one another. The one, she was able to figure out quickly, was the one whom the dreamed belonged to, because he himself was foggy. That foggy look always gave away to whom the spirit of the other person belonged to. She watched in the distance on how the dream would unfold. She sat down gingerly on a snowy white chair she created behind her.

Chameleon was in his slumber, dreaming a very vivid dream. Not noticing the girl standing a ways off in the corner of his mind, his dream continued uninhibited. Cham was standing in front of 2 people, one he knew well, Kihaku, his Master. The other was someone to whom Cham had never seen, though he felt he knew very well. He was wearing clothes of dark orange. The guy almost seemed as if he had awaken from the dead, his skin a very pale white, his hair a very pale blue. The clothes themselves seemed to be roughly stitched together, yellow on one pant leg as if he couldnt find material of the right color to complete it. "Well... what happens if they find us master?" Chameleon asked Kihaku and looking then to the other man. "What about you? If they find out who you are, will they try and kill you?"The dream Kihaku didnt seem to answer, just stood there seeminly lost in his own thoughts, contemplating something. The other man, though, was first to speak. "I'm not sure, Chameleon," he said in a deep accent that slured the words together at times. "If Beatrix finds me, then I would suggest we could all be dead. Your channeled energy is the least of our worries."Cham thought for a long moment before turning to Kihaku again. "Any thoughts master?"At that moment, the dream seemed to have ended as Chameleon sat up in his bed. "huh?" Cham said into the darkness, the feeling of a dream seemed to have passed. What had he just dreamed about? He hated waking up, knowing something about his dream, and then forgetting it almost instantly. It was like a secret that his own mind kept from him. In the darkness, Chameleon's bright green eye seemed to flicker, almost as if there was a lightbulb behind it that was about to go out before it seemed to return to normal. Cham, of course, didnt feel or notice this reaction.
