Metapha: a wonderfully plentiful island country where religion is life and the abundance around the dragonians attributed to their zealous and pious lifestyle. People love their neighbor as they would love themselves, a testament to how a right way of living can lead to a civilization of peace. Despite the tornados and hurricanes that have a tendency to devastate communities, kill wildlife, and take a toll in dragonian life, the entire island is a wonderful place to live. The cool waters of the Agate Ocean provide a nice reprieve in the summer months, as well as a place to play and relax. With a church in every town square, it seems the people of this country can do no wrong. Still, it’s not necessarily people who are needed for evil to come to pass.
Most of the island, for example, is ringed by a mysterious chain of mountains known as “Hell’s Gate,” and it is aptly named. Within its dark, sinister depths, time seems to stand still; an unearthly fog eternally permeates the air. The plant life that seemed to have once thrived there is now dead, brown twigs and pale, wraith-like branches claw at the ethereal mists as they drift forever through the mountain range. Long dry river beds curl and wind through the valley like fossilized snake tracks, water having ceased its flow many years before. It seems as if the only thing that keeps this evil place at bay isn’t the everlasting ring of mountains, but the Metaphan’s will to stick to their religious beliefs.
Today, that peace would be shattered.
In a town not far from Hell’s Gate, along the outskirts there was a number of farms before one would reach the little community. A quarter mile from the beginnings of the more lived areas, there grew a haze as if it were sudden very hot in two specific spots. The vapor hovered in the air, little waves that altered one’s view if they attempted to look through it. Then, with a sound like a whoosh of air, large black blobs of energy formed in the center of the haze that whipped the air about them into a frenzy of gusting wind. A large crowd had formed under the intentions of securing things down, but instead were fixated on the dark energy, nervous thoughts of what they might be, most of them thinking of evil things. They weren’t far off.
There was a sudden calm in the air, and where the dark spheres of power once floated, there now stood two forms, one male, and one female. They were both of equal height and build, but the female was much more curvaceous and sensual, the male more athletic and solidly framed. They both wore black boots, pants, and a thick black leather belt, but that is where the similarities ended. The female wore a tight-fitting black shirt with sleeves that ended between her shoulder and elbow. Her hair was night black, but very curly, and though her skin was a porcelain white, her lips and eyes were a blazingly bright crimson. On her forearms were a pair of metal bracelets that looked to be simple bands of solid iron.
The male was dressed much more sparingly. His shirt was too short, showing off a six-pack midriff, and sporting a lack of sleeves. On either hip hung a thick, braided bull-whip, each tipped with a metal spike. He seemed to have two extra ones hanging on his back as extras, some straps around his chest and shoulders providing places to hold them. His tanned skin was a stark contrast to his partner, as well as his deep azure eyes and thin-lipped smile. His thick arms hung at his sides, though they seemed to be ready for anything, hands close to the clips that held the two whips in place.
“Ready?” asked the man.
“Ready,” replied the woman.
“Ladies and Gents! Please, do not remain calm! We are here to kill you all and destroy your homes! Feel free to flee in terror!” A few of the confused looks suddenly turned frightened, and when an arm snapped forward, the tip of one of the whips shot out, whistling through the air until it finally impaled itself in a nearby man's gut, ripping out a fair amount of flesh when it was jerked back. "That wasn't a request!"

Religion meant little on Planet Liix. The ounce that the planet’s religion amounted to was only believed by few of the creatures that lived among the trees, most of the race being of great scientific intelligence. Many Liixan scientists claim to have disproved any way for god to exist. But there are those few that still believe, their undying faith staying with them to the grave. The Liixan religion is very similar to Christianity: The almighty saviour who was placed upon the planet to relieve sinners, and the omnipotent deity whose purpose is simply to create the world, and do nothing more but watch. One certain believer in the Liixan faith was the mother of a child who barely listened to her preaching, but deep in his heart he held an inkling of religion.
”Forgive me Father, For I have sinned…”
The Liixan was knelt in a small booth, his furry, armour covered form huddled in the dark, dank room that was the confession booth. An elderly Father sat in the next room, listening intently to his newest confessor. The figures amber eyes, struggling to stay open through a river of nostalgic tears, were fixed on a dusty corner of the floor, and his lips were having difficulty in finding the right words. He had never set foot in a confession box before, nor in a church, nor any other place of worship, but the feeling of an almighty Lord around him brought him a flood of memories, which hit him harder than any attack ever could…
The rain was seeping through the canopy of the Shinrea Continent, the ever-extending forest surrounding all creatures of the planet. But a second earlier the sky brought nothing but sun, almost as if the weather reflected the feeling in Kilix’s heart at that moment. His fingers grasped onto the now sodden bark of the tree, as the heat of the explosions struck him in the face, the fur waving around wildly like twigs in a hurricane.
The explosions died down, and immediately the young Liixan leapt from his hiding place in the trees. The debris that used to be his mother was almost everywhere, her Liixan blood seeping slowly into the branches and joining the rainwater on it’s descent to the ground. A large portion of her torso still held her head, her cold, dead eyes gazing into the sky with her last thoughts lingering within them. The young Liixan buried his head in her fur, and wept...
A single tear traversed the furs on the Liixan’s cheek, tugging on the final hair before it fell silently to the floor. But his woeful memories were discarded when the young hero sensed something unusual; something disturbing, something evil. His Liixan ears pricked up, and faintly in the distance he could hear the newcomer’s threats towards the innocent villagers. Kilix’s Sin would have to wait; there was work to be done.
”Another day, Padre,” he muttered, as the confession booth’s door burst open, the young Liixan warrior running straight towards the door, pushing off the ground as soon as he left the building and letting his Ki push him into the air. After a few seconds flying, the figure of the warrior melted away into the sky, a simple wisp of Ki dissipating where he was moments before.
The warrior appeared behind the two figures, both of whom were clad in black from head to toe. ”I think you need to give me an explanation, lads.” the Liixan said in a firm tone; ”Kilix Gyro at your service; and you’re attacking the people of my planet.
((Copped out a lil at the end and it’s a shameless rip of Daredevil but OK ;D Take it from here Kihaku))

The male's smile shrinked slightly, but didn't fade completely. As he turned to face the voice, the remains of his smile finally fled his face. As the female turned and saw their antagonist, she didn't just smile, but started to giggle and coo as well. "Aww, isn't he just the cutest little thing?"
The male seemed more annoyed at the complication than his countarpart. "You know, I do remember saying I didn't want to have to kill fuzzy things." He poked the female in the side. "Remember?" She slapped the offending hand and fixed him with a stern glare.
"Yes I bloody well remember. What do I look like to you?"
"A twit." He managed to dodge her incoming fist, jumping two feet out of range with a grin and a chuckle. He waved off her inevitable fury with a meaty hand, as if they did this sort of verbal jousting all the time. "Alright, since you love him so much, YOU deal with the rat. I'll watch for a bit and when he manages to bite you and give you rabies, I'll jump in."
"Thanks, I really appreciate it." She said with a hint of venom lacing her words. Turning from her companion, she faced the tiny Liixan with a smirk and a shine in her blood-red eyes. The iron bands around her wrists gave off a small humming noise, and they floated away from her skin, hovering above her body. "Well my little friend, greetings." She gave a deep bow, always keeping eye contact with her opponent. "Kilix Gyro, Harpie, for your disposal." At that instant, a broad bladed scimitar appeared in each hand, small golden tassels hanging from the hilt.

The young Liixan couldn’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of despair as the pair exchanged their verbal—and visual—reactions to him. He’d heard them all before of course; his mind floated swiftly back to his fight with Aiedan, and his immature insults towards the Liixan agent. But what was more intriguing was the way the reacted to each other. Their joking, friendly tones yet harsh, violent actions denoted the pair had known each other for a very long time. Maybe that could work to his advantage at some point.
After a few minutes bickering, the female turned to face Kilix once again, her pale face contrasted by the patronising crimson lips, and furious, burning eyes. The young warrior couldn’t overhear the males taunt—presumably to both his companion and to Kilix: “When he bites you and gives you rabies, I’ll jump in.” Oh, I’ll giver her worse than that, Kilix chucked internally, allowing only a small smirk to penetrate the surface.
”Well my little friend, greetings,” the woman said, as the bracelets she had formally worn around her wrists burst free from their hold, humming in the air, seemingly uneasy, awaiting some further purpose. And soon that purpose came, as suddenly the two metal objects burst forward, creating a pair of great blades which settled gently in the woman’s hands. ”Kilix Gyro, Harpie, at your service.” Kilix looked the woman up and down for a moment, while his mind wound around which personality he would portray this time. The Liixan always liked to give a different first impression, as it meant that any reconnaissance the enemy would give could easily be changed on a whim.
”Harpie?” Kilix said inquisitively, ”You mean like the unbearable Witches who inhabit hell?” He allowed a dramatic pause before finishing the sentence: ”Actually, that’s quite fitting.” As he finished the words, he barely allowed a second to pass before his fingers brushed across his belt, a small capsule descending into his palm as he did so. Time to see whether these things draw energy from conventional methods… he thought, and with a flick of his wrist, the now-expanded Ki-M-P Grenade was launched towards Harpie, a small number “3” displayed on it’s LCD Screen. The force of the throw would be quite ample to force the small object some way into her stomach, or at least wind the woman for a small amount of time: and as long as that time was more than 3 seconds, he was in the clear.
When the grenade left his hand, Kilix’s form disappeared into the air, the warrior appearing a few hundred yards away in a nearby field, easily able to see both warriors with full view. Mentally he continued his countdown, never taking his eye off the enemy. ”Boom” he muttered.

((Demon Jimmy appears! He's technically in his Class III as a note))
A figure appeared in a blurring of colours, his eyes blinked in the new area. Blank Discs with little features, his aura faded away and he looked around slowly and calmly "Alllright. I've gone in the wrong direction, I was looking for Jimmy's home. I might have found something interesting about our father but looks like I got lost. I suppose it's fair, its my first time here" He raised his sharp clawed feet and walked through the streets. Jimmy was being unusually quiet. He normally struggled for control, but he normally sought to stop him killing. He could exist in his own form whilst Jimmy slumbered, but only if he wasn't willing to kill anyone. Hardly seemed worth it. He smiled to himself, he sensed some kind of Dark Energy, interesting... His body blurred again and he appeared in the midst of Kilix's battle. He blinked without understanding, his Demonic Guise looked around casually, a fight was going on and some Cat creature teleported. Out of curiousity, he teleported to besides him silently. He considered slashing at the back of his head but resolved it'd be pointless. The other two looked more interesting "Afternoon, Mr Kilix Gyro." The demon looked down, his huge claws looked itching to be used and his tongue clicked inside his head "Now, I'm usually accused of Motiveless Malignity, so it'd help if you gave me a reason to either attack you or those two. And I won't accept their evil, that doesn't hold much sway to a Demon. Although..." If he did fight against good creatures... Jimmy would try to assert himself. He couldn't have that, he was going to enjoy this freedom. Although... He felt like he could give Jimmy a chance to fight too... ah well, he'd revert after killing those two. They were evil after all, no objection from Jimmy for that. He sighed and increased his power to a simple level, his aura started to flicker and the grass in the field wilted suddenly "Never mind Mr Gyro, I have my own reason now it seems. It was a pleasure speaking at you" He teleported again into the area standing away from the possible blast radius of the grenades he'd seen Kilix attack the woman with.
He floated down like a ghost descending from the skies, he looked at the man, his whip looked intimidating but his cut-off shirt a bit less so. He had better abs than the demon though, better by a long margin. He clicked his tongue and said in a slightly creepier and more invasive voice "Well now, aren't you two impressive. The woman's almost as pale as me. I don't get out much, what's your excuse?" He chuckled to himself, it was often noted by his opponents the almost stupid Super Villain like speeches the Demon gave whilst facing opponents. It was probably why Jimmy hadn't one that match in the Finals tournement, he just kept talking instead of going for any kind of attack. "Nah, seriously though. I'm feeling bored would you care for a fight? I promise, I won't intentionally make it more painful than it has to be-"
stop it
"Oh no... You're too good for YOUR good." The Demon muttered as he felt Jimmy start struggling and his power drop. He raised his head, this was going to end in him being hurt again by Jimmy's struggling but not matter "Come on then!" He roared and threw his arms up in the air "If you accept then come at me!"
((Ahhh, the demons ego has got to rival Rizuk... All you Kihaku))

The hunk of explosive detonated, but Harpie was no longer where she had been, instead a good dozen or so feet above the blast area. Her arms had been flat against her sides when she leapt, but now she spread them out wide, pivoted in the air, and shot like a bolt from a crossbow right towards Kilix, the object of her anger now the little Liixan. When she was a hundreed feet away, she righted herself, threw her arms forward, and from either blade shot an arc of dense, razor-sharp air, a light slicing noise audible in the crisp air.
Not one to leave well enough alone, she continued in her steep dive towards Kilix, three seconds after her attack, and began to spin on her side like a top, the scimitars making whirring noises as she drew quickly near her opponent.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A demon? Well, this should be interesting. Quite obviously with some kind of death wish or final request, the power he was exhuding was rather formidable, whether he was full or not. The taunting didn't get past the whip-wielding fiend completely, and a faint smile traced his lips when the challenge was made. "Bring it then."
With a quick 360 degree spin, the right hand whip made a whistling noise as the sharp metal tip scratched at the air. When the left came in though, there was a bit of an added surprise: ice had coated the metal to form not a spike, but instead a blade of nearly transparent frozen water. With the spin completed, his right snapped in the opposite direction, making a loud cracking sound before coming back into view with it's own ice blade situated on the end.

The demon swerved to one side as the right hand whip came in, the metal tip tracing the air a mere centimetre from where he had been. The Whip man was fast, but he could keep up with it at this pace. The second whip was his surprise, the icy element added to it was certainly a different touch. With no ability to dodge he slashed down with his claws as he rolled forward, almost touching his knee, the claws were to carve a way through for him in case he wasn't fast enough and the duck to avoid the incoming blade. He sprang up instantly after it passed over him and landed away. He coughed and clicked his claw like toes on the ground "Very impressive. Now I think-" before he was finished he appeared behind the man and completed "- it's my turn". With the same insane speed he pivotted around and slashed at the Whip-Man with his glowing claws. He spun after the end and threw a thrust kick out towards the man's back as hard as he could, which was considerably less than his usual level of power. He could feel himself beginning to revert. He'd need to be quick, he bared his teeth and after the kick teleported to his opponents other side and swung his head down in a head-butt to try and do some more damage. Before he could be struck by the lightning fast speed of his opponents retaliation, he teleported upwards and hung motionless in the sky. His hair already seemed to be losing its Bleached blond quality and looked more brown. He held his claws linked, he'd need to do what he did for the Tournement, throw his energy into an Armageddon Flare. The problem was it couldn't charge or use any real power, but the only thing he could was launch his energy. He rocketted downwards with his energy building and shouted[glow=white,2,300]"ARMAGEDDON-!"[/glow] but before he could launch the attack his body burst into white light and landed hard on a brown leather jacketted shoulder. "Owwww... what... happened?" Jimmy said as he got up, his head caning again. He'd transformed by instinct but it felt different, something was happening. He looked up with his deep crimson eyes and saw the man with the whips. "Oh boy..."

Kilix was never one to be unprepared; even against things that weren’t an immediate danger to him. Today was a prime example: As soon as his Ki-M-P Grenade had exploded in the air, he was aware of three things. Firstly, that his opponent had teleported some few dozen feet above the blast radius. So much for the first test, he thought. Secondly, the presence of a new warrior—or at least, presumed warrior, for not many people have that sort of power level—approaching fast from a nearby town. And lastly, another familiar power source, less approaching than meandering towards him.
The second of these was the easiest to resolve, as the figure suddenly materialised behind him. Kilix didn’t even bat an eyelash when the creature first spoke. “Afternoon, Mr Kilix Gyro,” he said in an unenthused manner, the words arriving a moment before some ominous sounding clicking noises from within the beings body. “Now, I'm usually accused of Motiveless Malignity, so it'd help if you gave me a reason to either attack you or those two. And I won't accept their evil, that doesn't hold much sway to a Demon. Although...”
Kilix tilted his head slightly as the demon spoke, his feline ear twitching gently as it slowly received the sound waves from it’s speech. When it seemed to have tailed of into a train of thought, Kilix spoke: “How about the fact that their just plain mean?” He was about to continue when the being cut him off short, "Never mind Mr Gyro, I have my own reason now it seems. It was a pleasure speaking at you." The irony played in his head for a moment. Speaking to me is right, he thought, I hardly said a word…
Not long after the Demon had departed on it’s mindless yet violently fun task, the first of his observations began to act. His eyes darted back up to the now descending Harpie, whose arms were thrusting forwards in a devastating slice. So devastating in fact, that the air itself was being formed into a weapon, two deadly crescents of the sky shooting towards Kilix at breakneck speeds. Kilix allowed the air blades to get closer and closer to him, before leaping backwards, the torrents of air slicing clean through the earth beneath his feet.
Once he had regained his footing, his eyes immediately fixed on his opponent once again, who was now beginning to become a whirling dervish of blades and flailing body parts. The makeshift meat-mincer was making it’s way towards Kilix, spinning at incredible speeds, even for Liixan standards. However, the solution to this plan seemed pretty simple, as Kilix’ tactical mind began to whir into motion.
Just before Harpie reached the Liixan agent, he thrust his hand swiftly into the air, a orange hue forming in his palm before rapidly expanding into a concaved dish of dense energy. Even most high-duty energy weapons would be hard pushed to penetrate such a shield, so unless the Harpie’s weapons were something special, they would easily be blocked by his defences. Not only this, but the sudden reduction in speed would leave her shocked and disoriented, allowing Kilix’s quick kick to the sternum open to succeed.
Whether the shield and kick combo worked or not, Kilix’ body once again dissipated into the air, leaving nought but a wire-frame replica to meet Harpie’s frantic attacks. And it was now that the third of Kilix’s initial observations came to a close, as the Liixan turned slowly, looking down at the figure before him. ”What’s that on your head?” he questioned.
”It’s a Gopher.” said KGB, happily.

The shield did indeed prove to be a problem, the whirring blades becoming a sudden disadvantage. Striking so hard against the energy caused her to spin wildly out of control into the air above the Liix, subsequently avoiding the kick all together. When she finally righted herself, she managed to land behind the little feline figure, but something was already wrong.
The little furball was gone, and in his place stood a wire frame, almost as if this were some cartoon world, and the mouse had left a cheap imitation to fool the hawk. Swiveling her head around, she finally spotted her target, and what seemed to be a trashcan wearing a hairpeice. She giggled maliciously and called out to Kilix, "You can't keep up this pace forever, Furball!" And with an anxious strike, lashed one of her scimitars against the wire frame.
(yes, I do realized what I have just done. Roll with it.)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The slash of Jimmy's claw shattered one of the ice blades, and when it was yanked back, he inspected the ruined end. The normally razor-sharp blade was now a jagged edge of broken ice, the spell that kept it frozen even in the hot sun was gone, and the water dripped down his fingers, numbing the skin. "Well played." With a few practiced flicks, the two whips were coiled in his hands and held with a look of iminent use; however, with the change of momentum, he was forced into defensive movements, first dodging to the side to avoid the claw slash, then again to one knee as the headbutt knicked his shoulder.
Now kneeling on his right leg, he looked up just as the demon was shouting out the name of an attack. In what he knew was a feeble attempt to get out of the way, he used his left leg to shove himself back, just in time to see the jacketed figure crash against the ground with a somewhat gratifying thud. He stood slowly, gyrating his shoulder with a grin of pure malice smeared across his features.
"Oh boy..."
"Oh boy is right, Jimmy-boy. It's time you learned why demons shouldn't run around with the big kids." There was a sickening sound of meat being ripped apart, and the warrior hunched over with a pained look on his face. Suddenly, two more arms popped out of his back, and took their place beneath the original arms. His torso seemed a little bigger, both taller and more muscled for a second set of pecs and lats. The new appendages were exactly the same as the original ones, and when they curled back and retrieved the extra whips, all four arms gave a snap, cracking each whip one right after the other. "You're about to find out why little ones should stay inside, and why the big kids call me Kraken."

"Be-Because you have four arms? But shouldn't that make you four Arms or Goro or... I should stop talking." Jimmy swallowed hard and drew the Sealed Sword from its sheath on his back. He held it firmly in two hands and steadied himself, the Demon was subsiding so he leaked out some Dark Energy and powered himself up so he would have a better chance of landing a blow. His normal aura held a slightly dark red tinge to it as he launched off after Kraken, a small telekinetic field wrapped itself thinly around him to shield any light blows. Heavy ones would still penetrate so he had to be careful. As he got closer he rolled to one side, his shoulder scraping the ground and knocking up a small cloud he spun around as he rose up trying to slash everywhere at once. With a quick flip he landed on his feet and back-pedalled to clear some room, although he was physically more than able to keep up with most opponents he still got scared of them. If he was at a decent range he would have felt safer, he steadied himself as he realised how big of a mistake this was. This Kraken man used whips so he already had a better range than Jimmy with his sword, he would have been better off close up. He cursed himself and quickly sheathed his sword after a seconds fumbling. He glared at Kraken and bent his knees so he could place his hands on the ground. Feeling the cool floor beneath him he focused his energy to his hands and passed it softly into the ground, his red eyes never left Kraken's face "OK then, your attacking my home. But why? What did Dragonia ever do?" Jimmy was only stalling as he readied his technique, he'd have to hope that he wouldn't get suspicious and like his Other Half liked giving long winded evil speeches to helpless victims...

”Ooh… big bang. Don’t look Gopher.”
The instant the Harpie’s Scimitar clashed against the compacted energy in the Liixan wireframe, all hell got loose. Kilix grinned as he watched himself explode, searing flames of Ki energy flowing around his opponents form, the energy pushing anything in it’s path out of the way, and quickly. His eyes followed as Harpie’s form launched into the air, flames burning softly against the corners of her clothes, a trail of smoke following her in the air like the wake of a jet fighter. Perfect… grinned Kilix, and disappeared.
Harpie fell, and he let her, right up until the point of impact. When her body hit the floor, a booted foot was swift to meet it, smashing into the woman’s gut, forcing all of the air out of her lungs as she gasped for air, blood spluttering from her lips. The force increased the bounce motion which her body was now undergoing, and when Harpie was high enough in the air, another booted kick came swiftly into her side, sending the poor creature soaring once again. And Kilix was in quick pursuit, his feet already pushing off the ground, and his Ki blades flaring into existence in his palms.
KGB watched in wonder. It was like Pay-per-veiw, but with more Gopher.
((Shit I know, but I need to get something in >.<))

Harpie went flying, not knowing that the thinly wired effigy was actually a bomb that'd been planted for opponents stupid enough to attack it. She had several burns on what'd originally been flawless skin, smoke trailed from singed and charred clothing, and her body was burning and aching in agony from the hard blows Kilix had landed while she was stunned from the detonation. As she flew through the air the second time, something deep inside her clicked, and a voice in her head the time was now to begin phase two.
From her back, ribbons of blackness slid outwards like tentacles of some oceanic leviathan, wrapping around her many dozens of times to form a black coccoon of sorts, impenetrable blackness both visually and physically. Those blades the Liix wielded would do no damage to the dark womb, while inside, wounds were healing, skin was growing, and bone structure was being shifted about in a manner most becoming of a monster.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Simple," Kraken smirked as he gave his reason for such wanton destruction, "it exists." His two top arms gave loud, harsh cracks in the air just before him, and in a blast of suddenly frigid air, two shurikens of ice flew with a whizzing sound towards regular Jimmy. The second, lower pair crashed against the ground, and crystals of ice began to shoot up from the area between the hit and Jimmy, like geode crystals. When they reached their target, the formed super-sharp points and shot out with the intent of impaling the poor boy through the sternum and right shoulder.
Then, just as he was about to initiate a second onslaught, the same whisperings entered his own black soul, and the same black tendrils wrapped around him, forming an oblong cocoon in which a new abhorrence was manifesting, like the larva of some malevolent plague metamorphosing into it's final, most powerful state.

((Now THIS is more like it ;D My writing skill is back, baby )) Adrenalin is the funniest of fluids. It is natural to every man, woman and child, or indeed Species that roams around our ever-expanding universe, and yet it’s effects surprise and astound everyone to this day. It can make the most cowardly man stand fast, the weakest being become stronger by many times over, and make the most humble of men wild in a fury of passion. And even the small doses can cause a rush that some find irresistible—either in themselves or in others. It is what causes skydivers to jump, scuba divers to sink, and skateboarders to cause untold masses of grievous bodily harm unto themselves. However, a healthy dose of it can even stir the soul; such a dose as one young Liixan warrior was receiving now. It had been some time since he’d fought last, and even that was just a scrap compared to the onslaught the Saiyan invasion had brought. And for the first time in more months than he’d cared to count, the rush of Adrenalin was hitting his senses like a hammer. And he loved it! But as the passing air rushed through the fur on his cheeks, the individual hairs rippling as if they were caught by some vast undersea current, he felt there was something not quite right. He had fought these types many times; obviously, they were the sort who didn’t joke and play around as much as they might, the sort that meant business, and serious business at that. But even if they were just lower-level scouts, such as that first party of Saiyan’s he had disposed of alongside Reval and Kihaku, there was a certain naïvety that gave off a scent of warning. There was something being withheld here, and Kilix didn’t like it one bit. And unfortunately for him, it wasn’t going to withhold itself much longer. As Kilix gained ground on the undefended Harpie, she began to change. Suddenly, whips of darkness lashed wildly from behind her, grasping at her limbs and body, slithering and sliding there way around every fibre of her being. Soon, a shell of sorts was crawling around his adversary, a chrysalis that would harbour something far stronger than before. Kilix willed himself faster, bringing one hand down in a vicious swipe to the cocoon’s exterior, but in vain, as the energy simply stuck fast against whatever material these binds were made of. He had no other option: Nothing could be done for now. Kilix gently floated back to the floor, his left boot crunching onto the crisp grass before the right. His eyes flicked down to his right, where his reliable little Gopher sat, with that stupid robot beneath it. It took a second for the realisation to sink in, as his head suddenly flicked up so that his eye line was set on the location that KGB had been in a moment before. ”How did you…?” he said, the confusion obvious in his tone. ”Beep!” came the voice from beneath the Gopher. Giving up on his sidekick for now, Kilix gave another look to his surroundings. Not much had changed, except for one thing: That demon, the one who had appeared behind him not long ago, was gone. And now, in his stead, was a young boy, and another black cocoon sat where Harpie’s partner had been not long before. Obviously they were both one of the same: both were being controlled by something greater. The worst was yet to come. ”Hey, Kid!” Kilix shouted up at the boy, ”Why don’t you come down from there and give us a word, eh?” A plan needed to be devised, and quickly. For there was no telling how long it was before these infernal butterflies emerged.

((OOC: will post again soon. For the sake of story, since Jimmy has yet to post, the ice shurikens were dodged by ducking, and in rolling backwards in the crouch, the spikes were dodged as well.))
