(( ooc: I really hope this is the right place... I was waiting for someone else to post SOMETHING but couldnt find it... Am I supposed to start it? Okay, well... if I'm wrong, lemmie know. ))
Cham wasnt all too happy about having to split from Kihaku and go with this new girl, a chaos spirit like him. She was so different from Kihaku, which threw him for a loop. Guess he figured that if she were the same being as Kihaku, they would at least share similar emotions, but she seemed almost excited. Well, didnt matter, orders from Kihaku were to treat her as if she were him, with respect and to follow her instructions.
They were in route to one of the islands off the eastern coast of Lavertia, but her wasnt entirely sure which one. He figured she'd know so he looked over. "Mistress Elaine?" he said not entirely sure if that was her actual name. He thought me may be right. "I'm unsure which Isle we are to travel to, do you know?" he said staring at her a moment more before looking back ahead of them.

When Cham looked over, he saw that Elena was leisurely flying on her back, fingers interlaced behind her head as if she were laying in a hammock. She knew that there were going to be baddies to fight, probably, so she figgured she might as well conserve her energies for now. When Kihaku, Ryan, and Dimitri flew off to their own destinations, she finally flipped over onto her front and scooted closer to Cham, almost near enough for their shoulders to touch. She rested her right ankle on top of her left, crossed her wrists in front of her as if she were laying on the ground, and rested her chin on her forearm, looking at Cham with a slight glimmer in her eye.
"It's Elena, and yes, I'm most positively assured of where to go. S'not too far as a matter of fact, we're already halfway there. You know... you remind me of a guy I knew before I was drawn into Chaos. He was a nice boy, kinda old-style gentleman like. He was cute too." She knew that telling him these things would probably put him ill at ease, so she simply stopped speaking for a while, a minute or two elapsing before she finally spoke again. "Ya gots a girlfriend?"

Cham's face turned a small shade of red at being called cute by Elena. "Uh... thank you," he responded back trying to look a little more relaxed. She asked about any girlfriends he might have and that struck him and a simple question that didnt make him feel odd at all. He thought momentarally on Shizuka but she left them for some reason and they werent really boyfriend and girlfriend at all, more of just friends. Besides, she left too much for him to actually be able to consider her one.
"No, I dont have a girlfriend," he said looking to her with a smile. "Do you have any boyfriends?"

The smile from him in return actually quite excited her, though she couldn't really tell why. He spoke, looked, and acted so much like poor Joshua that she almost felt as if she were talking right to him, minus the odd green eyes of course. His had been a startling, lovely icy-blue, though a bright forest-green weren't too shabby neither, in her opinion. She almost felt a pang of guilt at so quickly taking a liking to him, as if she were trying to pick up the feelings she'd once had for a boy with someone who merely looked like him, but turned them away, rationalizing she was merely getting to know him.
"Why no I don't. Never quite found the time what with being trapped in the OtherRealm and all." She gave a small giggle, which caused her upper arm to brush lightly against his jacket. Granted, he wouldn't have felt it, but it snapped her back to reality with the force of running into a brick wall. She wanted to know more about him before they actually got to the dangerous parts, so decided to simply ask more questions about him, estimating one more before they arrived. "So, how'd you get to be ol' Dum-bum's apprentice anyway?"

Cham's eyes narrowed towards her. "Please dont call Master Kihaku that, he is a great man with enormous power and has taken me in and helped me to become stonger," he said looking off into the distance at the nice memories.
"He was the first one to talk to me when I crash landed on this planet. He's pretty much the only family I have now." Cham said with a warm hearted smile. "He beat the living crap out of me every training session until I was up to par to participate in the tournament at Esparenza. We've had a lot of fun and hard times." He gave a large sigh and looked over at her with smile.
"You must be cold," he said pulling his coat off from him, holding onto it tight so it wouldnt flap away in the wind. "Put this on, it'll keep you warm," he said handing it to her. What he wore beneath was a sleevless brown tunic, and on his arm that had not been there before was a large black 6 sidded star enclosed within a circle, the symbol of the Gate of Chaos. He didnt notice it as he handed her his coat.

She knew it wasn't a smart thing to say the instant his facial expression changed, though her ingratiating smile and glimmering, liquid brown sugar eyes remained unchanging, almost giddy as he began to speak. "Well, at least you didn't pick up his love of brooding silence." She took the coat, not noticing the mark either for the moment, instead putting on the toasty garment with a small, almost inaudible hum of content. It even smelled of comfort and familiarity.
"He's my family just as much as he is yours... perhaps even more so, I don't call him 'Master' anything. He's more of a brother to me than a friend, and I've known him... psh, jeebus at LEAST a century longer than you have. No joke, hundred years, seriously." She was actually quite serious. The OtherRealm was ageless, accepting spirits and mortals since time began, years held no meaning to a Chaos Spirit, but to put it into a mortal time frame certainly put it into perspective.
"You may have had a lot of good times and bad times with him, but believe me he's had a much harder life than you could possibly imagine to get that much power. Reiaz and I had horrific life experiences by anyone's standards, but Kihaku... he's a completely different piece of work, lemme tell you. I love him to death and beyond, but sometimes he's hard to get along with. Best way as I know to do that is to just joke about him, which he never takes any offense to. Sometimes, he bags on me too, and we just let it roll off. Like I sez, more like a brother."
As her eyes slid back to him to see how he'd taken all of this information, it was then that she suddenly noticed the mark on his arm. Her heart leapt up into her throat, and she screeched (figuratively) to a halt in mid-air, literally only four feet in a forward direction from being over their island destination. "Holy shittake! You're the Gate he opened!?" She grabbed his arm and inspected the mark closely, her breath warm as it flowed over his skin, the blackened skin not nearly as glossy as one might expect of a tattoo.
"How the ferking farkleberries are you still alive!?"

Cham looked down at the wierd pattern on his arm with raised eyebrows, "heh, would you look at that... I wonder how that happend..." he said slightly amused. He never knew that was on him, must have been recent through. He cocked his head when she asked him how he could still be alive.
"What do you mean?" he said thinking back and it came all too clear to him. He had passed out a couple of times over the past couple days, but never really knew why. It could have happend in one of those black out periods but wouldnt he have rememberd almost dying? He did wake up with a huge headache, maybe that's what had happend. "Do you mean Kihaku tried to kill me? Your wrong on that, he would never try to kill me."

She shook her head with an impatient look on her face, jabbing her index finger on the mark as if to show him that this is proof that his continuing life is a miracle in its own right. "Nonono, look, you were exposed to a dangerous amount of Chaos Energy! It's not that he tried to kill you, it's that he almost did! See, only us Chaos Spirits are supposed to use this energy because of its destructive nature. You're too good a guy to be using this stuff. It's like... giving crack to someone who's never even smelled second-hand smoke."
She wasn't really going overboard, the danger Kihaku had put Cham in seriously freaked her out, considering that he's supposed to be his teacher or something like that. "Stupid-sam tryin ta kill his student with power, glad we got to you guys before he could try again. *sigh* At least you've been sealed off from the energy. The ring around the star shows that you've been exposed, but not venting the energy. That's a good thing. A very good thing. Like... not dying of cancer good thing. Maybe next time-"
Her words were suddenly cut off as a large dark... thing collided with her head on, ramming into her gut from beneath and behind Cham, never a chance that either could see it. The force of it sent her higher and higher, until finally it released her, letting her plummet towards the island below at a free-fall, her closed eyes proving she'd been knocked out cold by the tackling blow. The form stopped in mid-air above Cham, and turned to look at him.
What the Elicoorian saw next would stun him into silence: a figure of about average height and build, about five foot seven, with a long gray jacket, black pants, and a sleeveless indigo tunic beneath. At his hip hung a sword in a glossy black sheath, all down the casing were intricate carvings of leaves that shone in the sunlight. Black hair hung down to the eye brows, with icy-blue eyes staring at him with a malicious gleam. An arrogant smile revealed ivory-white teeth, contrasting sharply to the pale skin.
A perfect mirror copy of the boy had just attacked the only means of triangulating Dramanius' location, while she now fell towards the hard earth at a dangerous pace. "Best move quick now Chammy, don't want the pretty girl gettin' hurt now, do you?" Just before Cham could begin his race after Elena's falling form, the doppelganger shouted, "Just like your pathetic village!"

Cham blinked and Elena was gone, he felt a wave of energy and he looked down to see Elena plummetting toward the ground and a figure that looked identical to him floating above. After the words were exchanged Cham closed his eyes for a split second, everything seeming to slow down in his mind. Then, he heard it, just like before.
--snap--
Cham's eyes opened, a deep purple covered his once green irises. "bastard..." came a low hiss from his mouth as his body exploded in purple Chaos energy. "You'll pay!"
Cham raised his hands and in words that reminded him so many times of Kihaku, he yelled:
"Art of Black Chaos, Shadow Forms!"
From behind Chameleon seemed to split off a black shadow of himself molding into a solid form of Cham without any of the facial features. Cham, one eye now turning to green looked at the boy and with words expressed solely in eyes, he gave the command. The shadow form shot downwards at high speeds to catch up with the unconscience Elena.
Cham looked up at the darker version of himself, green and purple auras shooting around him in perfect harmony. The power was something he never felt before, but he knew that his suprise in it would have to come later, now it was time to fight.
"It's your turn," Cham said bolting towards him at speeds he never imagined before. From his hands he formed his Channeled Lighting force, but this time, mixed with his dark chaos energy, it came out as a bright strong blast of purple lightning.
The strike of lighting, if the boy didnt manage to dodge it, would cause severe damage. In case he did happen to dodge it, Cham was on his way for several tough jabs and kicks, using all the training Kihaku had ever given him. His power was immense, nothing he was ever able to do before. He had finally managed to put his energies into perfect harmony to work together.

The arrogant smirk only widened when the blaze of energies amalgamated together, allowing the boy to send off a Shadow Form to save the plummeting girl. "So, you did manage it after all. Good for-" his smarmy words were cut off as he had to quickly lean back, the purple lightning fizzling over his left shoulder, his hair drawn towards it from the electric current. "You."
When Cham came in for the close range combat, the copy simply shook his head, tsking as he made a sudden backflip and began to fly head-first towards the ground. This fight, apparantly, wasn't destined to take place in the air, where there was a multi-directional defense needed, but on the ground where only around and above were in danger. Without so much as a warning, the person flipped once more, landing on his feet, while simultaneously drawing the blade he held at his side. The steel was inky black, shining in the sunlight with a malicious gleam.
"Bring it, farm boy. Lesse what that dumb-ass of a spirit has taught you besides flashy tricks."

Cham pelted towards the ground after the darker version.
--
The shadow form of Cham caught Elena not 10 feet above the ground and managed to skirt the ground by inches, eliminating the crushing damage the terra would have had on her body. He stopped laying her down onto the ground softly. Looking back, the shadow form blasted off towards the heat of battle once again.
--
Cham saw the shadow form head towards the boy at speeds that didnt match his own, but came pretty darn close. Cham decided this would be the best moment and shot towards Elena landing within a few feet with outstretched hands. "I dont know if this will help, but maybe it would do you some good," Cham said letting a flow of Channeled Force into her body, healing any maladies she may have suffered, though it couldnt clear maladies of the mind. If she was well enough, she may regain conscienceness, though nothing was for certain.
--
The shadow form met the boy and began an onslaught of jabs and kicks, though easy to tell, it was not as strong as Cham's were.

Unfortunately for the attacker, Elena was going to survive, the only injury she had, a slipped disk in her spine, was easily fixed with Cham's quick thinking and attentions. Now, with the Shadow Form keeping the doppelganger busy, Cham was freed to formulate a plan... for the moment.
"Feh, so this is what the Eye has taught his apprentice." The onrush of physical blows were parried and countered, one right after the other, a solution found to every problem the Shadow Form could pose as soon as it came in. Finally, in order to get himself out of this slight predicament, he left himself wide open to attack. The Form fell for it, takng the offensive with a fierce jab towards the copy's midsection, when its wrist was suddenly grasped in a bone-crushing grip, the ink-black sword thrust through its chest.
"Pathetic."
With a cruel twist of his wrist, and a firm shove upwards, the Shadow Form was split perfectly in half from the sternum up. With an audible sigh, it disapated in a burst of purple smoke. Cham would feel a sudden onrush of energy as the necessary Chaos Energy used to create the Shadow form returned to his spirit, that much more ready for the counter-attack that was on its way.
"Nice try kid, but you've got a ways to go." A vicious kick came in for a strike to Cham's kidney region, the unconscious Chaos Spirit forgotten for the time being.

Cham's eyes connected with his dopplegangers and they glowed a bright green. "My guess is that you werent burdened with education growing up," Cham said with a slight sneer as the other Cham came rushing towards him, aiming a kick at his kidneys. Cham found it completely easy to dodge the copy's foot and used that moment while the foot was in the air to let loose a burst of punches. Cham's body was still aglow with the Channeled Energy and Chaos Energy.
So far as Cham was able to tell, he was a little quicker on his feet than the doppleganager, though he couldnt be sure about the power of the copies attacks. Kihaku taught Cham that it takes more energy to swing and miss than to swing and hit, so Cham would conserve his energy to hopefully help dwindle the copy.

(( ooc: Okay, sorry mike, it's been about 4 days now and you still havent responded, i'll have to auto hit, please post soon man ))
While the dopplegangers foot had missed Cham's abdomen, Cham moved in connecting hard heavy punches into its stomach, sending the copy back quite a bit. Cham took this moment to begin a new onslaught. He knew not to get cocky, just because he laid on a few punches, Kihaku taught him that. It was a big misteak to believe you've won before the battle was over.
Cham came around with a kick to the copy's head, bringing a blast of ki from Cham's left hand, aiming for a dead on hit to the copies stomach. Before Cham let loose another heart beat, he had his sword out, the silver gleaming against the sunlit sky.
"You're going to die today," Cham hissed.

The blows to the chest connected with heavy thumps, indeed shoving the doppelganger backwards a couple of feet, an audible snap as a rib cracked. Still, the apparent affect was far greater than the acutal damage done. Though a flesh and bone copy of the original, every doppelganger now assaulting the warriors of Dragonia were slightly different in many respects, this one a mirror-image of powers that Cham would find difficult to bypass.
"Is that all you've got?"
The Copy's free hand began to glow with a darkness that engulfed the entire appendage, quickly held over the broken bone until another audible pop was heard, this time fixing the wound. The sneer was forced through a slight haze of pain, quickly disapating as the agony of broken bones subsided. "You need to be stronger than that, kiddo."
The blackness around the free hand had originally been flowing in a specific order, though only the knowing and practiced eye would have been able to spot the pattern, but now it suddenly shifted about, a more violent writhing about that fortold an inevitable counter-attack. "Channeled Rage!" From the black palm flew a fireball, night black, and the size of a basketball. It seemed more to scream through the air than a normal fire's roar, a loud affair that pierced through to the very heart of the young Elicoorian.
