((Good Luck Ravious. Hope you don’t mind me taking the liberty of setting the scene.))

Larleta is one of those most dismal places; every square foot of it’s landmass is coated with greenery of some variety, most likely the great rainforest trees that distinguish the continent. It’s depths are dark beyond comparison with anywhere else on the planet, with perhaps the exception of Alundera, it’s toxic fumes creating a smog over the land. The skies of Larleta are often roaring with the rumble of rainfall, drops of water the size of your fist colliding violently with the canopy of leaves, filtering down through the treetops to the open earth beneath.

Today, however, was one of those rare days on this specific continent; a dry day. The heavens had decided that for at least one hour, the land of Larleta would be free from a watery threat. However, the heat that floated in the air hit anyone who entered this continent as hard as a fist to the face, even causing unconsciousness in the weak of body and mind. But the wildlife of the continent continued unphased, great legged spiders or winged insects patrolling the area surrounding them in their usual routine.

A blinding flare of blue light erupted from a single point in the forest, expanding rapidly outwards to fill the entire area, before disappearing as randomly as it had appeared. Where the point had originated, a figure knelt, his knuckles resting gently on the soft earth, one knee on the ground, the other near his chin. His skin-tight armour immediately seemed to loosen slightly, droplets of water appearing on it’s surface as the air condensed on it’s cool surface. A few drops trickled between the hairs on his hands, and collected grittily around the collar of his armour. He pushed himself up, waving his hand vaguely to dislodge the soft, sticky earth from his knuckles, before running it gently over his armour, collecting the assembled water droplets as he went.

”Bugger…” he said. Although he only let out one word of exclamation, his mind was buzzing with problems. If there’s even a slight crack this thing’ll go up in flames, he thought, his fingers tracing lines in the condensed vapour. His eyes flicked up from the ground, scanning the area intensely for a few moments. He seemed to be in a slight clearing, but not more than 4 metres in diameter; he’d have very little breathing room, but a lot of room to catch his opponent by surprise.

However, with an opponent like Ravious Esteulle, surprise probably wouldn’t be in his favour.

(Thats short? Oh joy)

Ravious was getting rather bored with the tournament, everyone just happen to exceed three feet. The guy with the dragons seemed like an alright fellow but deep down Ravious hopes that girl will choke on a chicken leg.
Hoping to finish his cotton candy before those evil evil men teleport him at random again.
Yummy yummy! Ravious spent life-savings on this cotton candy!
Drooling as he held it in his hands, the softest pink cottony candy he has ever set sight on. The scent of the heavenly sent food going through his nose as he leans forward to take the first bite. In a flash of blue light, Ravious witnesses as his only source of joy was now gone and his wand was in his hand.
NOOOOOOO!!!!! yells out Ravious as he begins his slight temper tantrum.
Sighing to himself as he looks at the new area and the sudden wave of heat as his fur began to stand up due to the humidity.
Ravious hate bad fur days...
Looking around his area as he just notices a figure of a man standing a distance away from him. Good thing Ravious made a request to the people of the tournament this time. He asked if they could provide a cloak for him when they teleport him. Standing there in his black cloth that resemble a baby's blanket he yells at the man.
For once I introduce. Ravious Esteulle I am, I am. You?

((Just a heads up-- if you dont read much outside your own threads, I suggest you start. For one, Kilix possibly looks as much unlike a "man" as you do. OK, that's slightly OTT, but still. Also, I cant garuntee to be able to post everyday -- I have a LOT on my plate right now, so if you could bare with me on this, it'd be highly appreciated.))

The blazing flare of another flash in the forest alerted Kilix to the arrival of his opponent. The light only caught the corner of his eye, and soon died down, returning the two spheres to their amber glow as they amplified the dim lights surrounding him. He turned his attention to the source of the light, his pupils focussing down to the floor as he sensed the small, furry creature below him, appearing to me more like a bursting teddy bear as tufts of hair sprouted from the holes around his cloak.

Dear god, thought Kilix, his eyes widening for only a moment, Have they sent me a Liixan Baby or something??. His eyes survayed the figure once again, his mind already jumping to conclusions that seemed more reasonable than the current one; maybe it was some sort of advanced cloaking device. Perhaps this was simply a puppet controlled by some higher being. But maybe, just maybe, this creature was a competitor.

When the creature spoke, Kilix's ears immediatly twitched to attention;
"For once I introduce. Ravious Esteulle I am, I am. You?"
Although his eyes and mind were darting around the compacted area to find some other being controlling this poor defenceless creature, his mouth's speech directed itself at the figure before him.
"My name is Kilix Gyro. If you are my opponent today, then I shall let you have the first blow, small one."

Although he felt a flush of pride at being able to call another "small", his senses were waiting for some surprise form of attack; whether it was to come or otherwise.

Ravious pull the cloth of the cloak away from his eyes. It was making his vision blurry as he looks at his oponent. He wasnt really a manish looking thing. He was a thing and Ravious knew his cuteness was no match for Ravious.

"My name is Kilix Gyro. If you are my opponent today, then I shall let you have the first blow, small one."


Was the first words that this thing spoke as Ravious's eye began to twitch.

Ravious not small....Ravious show you power of Mogwai! Cookie cookie!

Bending slightly as he murmers a spell as he runs in a full sprint towards Kilix. With his wand in hand as he leaps into the air and finishes his last incantation. Ravious than splits into 4 new beings. The 4 Ravious, with wands in hands come down from the sky aiming for his chest.

"Ravious not small....Ravious show you power of Mogwai! Cookie cookie!"

Hmmm, thought Kilix, It looks like a Liixan Baby... it talks like a Liixan Baby... It can't be, can it? Whatever the "Mogwai" was, Kilix's words appeared to have angered it. The small creature started to mutter in an incomprehensible language, it's tiny lips blurred with constant movement. Suddenly, the miniature creature burst into life, darting towards Kilix before leaping into the air.

Once airbourne, the creature finished it's incantation, it's body ripping itself apart into four beings, each indistinguishable from it's miniscule friend beside it. The four minute beings were now diving towards Kilix's chest, microscopic wands poised in their mouse-like hands. A fickle grin played on Kilix's lips, as his image faded away into near nothingness.

For the third match in a row, his Explosive Translocation was playing the opening hand. As the furry creatures struck their weapons towards Kilix's figure, they would hit nothing but an energy wireframe; if their beings touched it in any way, the energy would explode violently. And for a creature of their size-- or lack of it, more to the point-- this could be devastating.

((Crap, but oh well... im tired...))

As the four Ravious struck true with their target they felt something different from within the body. Every alarm went off through all four of their heads as they knew it wasnt him. With their wands ablaze as they body began to shine brightly as it blew up.
The explosion sets the area in a thick cloud of dirt and dust as it spreads across the land. As it took a few moments for it to clear their still stood the four Ravious.
Ravious #1 had a large metallic golem covering his body. The golem's body was half way melted but yet it still stands up towering over the Ravious.
Ravious #2 was incase in a cage of rocks, brittle after the explosion but from the ground emerge the rock pet. Wobbly on its feet from the blast but it sniff out the oponent as it growls.
Ravious #3 was in a bubble of water. Not getting wet but the blast harm the water pet the most, ripples of power was still being sent through it. The vibrations caused the tiny pet to become a slight puddle/pet.
Ravious #4 was the best well off for his air elemental beated its wings to it mass capacity and knock any blast away. Flying over the head of the fourth as it beams a look at Kilix.
Ouchie ouchie! You make friends get hurt! Sneaky sneaky you are, you are. But now Ravious show true power of Mogwai!

Ravious continue to stand there as he waits and waits for Kilix. Looking at the imaginary watch on his wrist.

First fight is dragon man, than ugly ugly fugly woman, and now slow wanna-be fuzzy thing.

The four Ravious all look at one another as they scurry off into their own direction. Their own pets following them as well. Encircling (sp?) Kilix as the yell out their spell in unison as a deep darkness covers all four of them. Causing the area the become darkner than night. The four little mogwai began to giggle as the sky began to darken. Droplets of rain began to hit the battlefield.

Uh-oh...no good no good....

The little mogwais began their own transformations as they hid in the darkness.

Kilix wasn't entirely surprised when the small creature survived his attack; He had reappeared a few metres away, and watched as each individual Ravious stood with their summoned creatures by their sides. Well, at least I know the fluffy thing is the Head, he thought, as he watched the creatures scurry into the forest.

There was only a subtle difference as the light levels adjusted, but it was barely noticeable. Kilix noticed a swirl of darker hues around each creature, before his eyes naturally adjusted the sight levels to normal; if Ravious though he could hide in the dark, he was in for a big surprise. But as he felt something slide through his fur, Kilix' heart sank, as he cast his eyes upwards. The rain was beginning to pour; and quite violently at this. Oh well, he thought, Keep your mind on the game.

He brought his vision down, only to see the four Mogwai's in a spasmic state, rolling in the ground as convulsions wracked their bodies. Don't waste an opportunity, Kilx thought, pushing himself off the ground and speeding towards the first Mogwai, who's metal protector was still solidifying from the initial explosion. The water hitting it's metalic form hissed up a cloud of steam, but also made the liquid parts of it's body start to fall away more rapidly.

So not to leave himself open, Kilix shot his palm towards the creature, a Microshield bursting from it, ready to stop any defence in it's path, as the Liixan landed next to the spasming Mogwai, swinging his boot to punt-kick the small creature, hopefully taking one of them out of the mix for a while.

Go for the creator, he thought, All else can wait...

As Ravious was in a spasm of pain he manage to look up just in time to see a boot hit his face. In a swirl of mist, that Ravious disappear as the golem falls apart and the darkness fades away. The remaining three look up as another being stands beside them. The three Remus look down at their brother, slightly shaking his head.

Your so worthless. I'm ashamed to have you as a younger brother. Can you atleast defeat one oponent?

Remus! Ravious sowwy! I no mean for it to rain, really!


Lets just get rid of this scum.

Each Remus chants a spell as a pet that matches the Ravious they stood next to. The two air pets flew over Kilix, the two earth pets went underground swimming beneath their masters, the two water pets stood in front of their masters.


Well now that you've had fun with my brother, try picking on me now. Remus said, pointing at Kilix.

((Hmmmm, gimme a sec, this might take a while, I'm leaning towards Kilix I'm just deciding it based on the actual fight since this was fairly balanced, and I thank Kilix for not writing an essay for each post which he has been known to do ;D))
