(OOC: So... finally... I get to fight teh Garrymeistah! I just hope you're around for this fight, dude! I'm looking forward to it. ) After a brief flash of light, which Zolomon was getting used to, the vampire found himself in a stark and lifeless landscape, which made him feel considerably comfortable. To the west he could see a blood-red sun slowly sinking into the glistening white mountaintops, which seemed to be most all around. The lack of shade or hiding place would be soon compensated with a nice and pleasant blanket of night. Well... for Zolomon it would be pleasant... The thought made him grin as he awaited his opponent. His last fight had been tough and he knew he was trying to hold himself back too hard. He had won, yet it was a very narrow margin. Of course, he could hardly expect every opponent to be as good as Elias, yet... which is something he had learned and relearned numerous times in his long life... you never know jack. Zolomon calmly unbuttoned his jacket, just in case he was unexpectedly jumped by his opponent and waited, his eyes scanning his surroundings for anything of interest. It was a wasteland he was in, which made Zolomon happy and disappointed at the same time. Lack of life had always been something he had liked (whether self-created or not), but having nothing to kill meant nothing would lose its life in his bout, which was a letdown. In Zolomon's eyes the tournament was a way to test your strength, see the world, and cause destruction wherever you go. What's the fun in destroying something that is devoid of precious things? What made the kill so pleasant was the thought of someone being sorry over it. A most twisted logic, by the account of most, but for the vampire that was his meaning in life - pain and suffering. -- The viewers were already getting over the fight, seeing Zolomon's relaxed yet concentrated facial expression in their screens. Those who had watched his last fight knew they were in for a treat if the opponent was worthy. The commentator was in full swing, wooing over Zolomon's last fight (most of which he had been the commentator for) and explaining that he paid his fine for getting drunk last time and it wouldn't happen again. "I tell you, if this fight is anything like Mr. Beowulve's last, we are in for one hell of a show! So get ready and summon whatever guts you have for this. With Zolomon you know it'll be good and it will be bloody."Everyone's nerves were tensed to the fullest in expectation, including Zolomon's. -- Zolomon had been standing for a minute like petrified, not moving a muscle, then finally his head hung a little lower and a grin appeared on his face. "Here we go..." he whispered, a violent spark appearing in his eyes for a split second, just before his pupils began swirling and growing and consuming his eyes like the darkness within him. It begins. (Note: Hehe... first post of round 3, baby! Huzzah! ^^ )
