After arriving back at the dojo, Gareeku had immediately gone to bed, a wave of tiredness coming over him as he arrived back at his home. In the morning, the warrior awoke and turning to the folded up gi Mana had given him, smiled. Putting his friend's gift on again, Gareeku went to the kitchen, where he was met with a rather irritated Jin. The girl was only about 14 years old, but often she displayed a maturity far beyond her years. Well, when it came to Gareeku, who was technically her sensei, she had to. "and where were you last night?" She asked, folding her arms as if she were a mother telling off her child. "didn't you get my message? i was visiting a good friend of mine" Gareeku answered, making himself some toast. "That's not the point sensei! you should have come home sooner! we were worried, especially when we could feel you were fighting someone...evil" Jin replied, visibly worried about him while at same time her irritation rising.
"Look Jin, i'm fine, i was helped out by that good friend of mine i've mentioned. I'm sure you could sense a lot more power signatures also fighting on my side. Well, that was Mana, or rather her army. You'll meet her soon enough" Gareeku said with a smile, sitting down and beginning to eat his toast, "good morning Gi". The person he was saying this too was another girl, a year younger than Jin, quite shy even with her sensei. "good morning, sensei" she said quietly, slowly eating her own toast. Not one to let Gareeku change the subject, Jin spoke up again. "and what about your son?! you need to be for him Gareeku, especially at a time like this" Jin said, the last part of her statement coupled with a somewhat depressed look on her face. Noticing this, Gareeku got up and put his hands on her shoulders. "I know Jin, and i'm sorry. I really do appreciate everything you're doing, you too Gi" Gareeku said softly, turning his head to look at Gi when he mentioned her name, the girl blushing slightly in response, "Where is the little tyke anyway?"
"I'll go get him sensei, i changed him before you woke up" Gi replied with a smile as she got up and walked out the room. A minute later she returned, and in her arms was a baby; Gareeku's son. Taking the baby into his arms, Gareeku smiled softly. "heya big guy, you hungry?" Gareeku said softly, the baby gurgling and giggling a little bit in response. "i'll take that as a "yes" then" Gareeku chuckled, taking a baby bottle out of the refridgerator, filled with milk. Watching his son suck on the milk, Gareeku smiled again. "Wow, somebody is hungry this morning!" Gareeku said with another chuckle, the baby drinking the contents, letting a little burp as Gareeku patted his back softly over his shoulder.
"remember Sensei, you've got classes to teach today. Seems you're quite popular" Jin said while smiling. Turning to her, Gareeku nodded "heh, well it gives people something to do in this quiet town, especially the younger members of the community" Gareeku replied, referring to Kosaten; the town in which they lived. The students he taught were eager to learn what he had to teach, and for that Gareeku truly appreciated and enjoyed being their sensei.

"Well, this must be the place; the town of Kosaten" Tiraicho said to himself, the young Dragonian floating in the air as he overlooked the town, traditional oriental buildings dominating its features. "lets just hope Mr. Manoko is in..." he continued as he began to descend into the town...

As Gareeku put his son in his cot, he had an expression on his face like something was weighing on his mind. Noticing this, Gi approached him. "Is everything ok, sensei?" the girl asked, a worried look on his face. "Falina should be here, Gi. She should've had the chance to see her son grow" Gareeku replied softly, staring into the cot at his son, who had just drifted off to sleep. "Sensei, i really am sorry about what happened...I know she meant a lot to you" Gi said softly, putting her hand on Gareeku's shoulder, trying to comfort him. Turning to his student, Gareeku smiled softly. "I know Gi, and thank you. We'll be ok" the warrior replied softly, acknowledging her concern.
Falina had been one of the first people he'd met when he had arrived on Dragonia, quickly becoming best friends, before it turned to something more. However, not long after their son had been born, she had been torn violently away from him. When he found her body, he was devastated, his cries of grief and anger could be heard for miles around. After slowly but surely calming down, he had noticed something odd. The wounds that had been inflicted upon her were not from what some would considered "normal" weaponry, such as a gun or knife. It appeared as if someone with the ability to weild ki had attacked her. There was something else too. That day, he had felt something, a ki signature, only for a few minutes, before it had disappeared. Something about that ki signature had felt similar...like he had come face to face with it before...
Snapping out of his thoughts and pushing them to the back of his mind, Gareeku turned to Gi, smiling softly. "My classes will be starting shortly. Will you be ok with Shin for a while?" he asked the girl. "i'll be fine with him, sensei. i'll see you later" Gi said with a smile. Nodding with a smile of his own, Gareeku left for the area where the classes would be held.
Upon entering the class, Gareeku smiled slightly. Many of his students were there, each of them eager for the classes to start. Bowing to them, Gareeku stood opposite them as he spoke. "Good morning, students. I trust you all had a good night's sleep, because today's classes will guarentee one tonight..."

The classes with a relatively simply exercise; the practising of moves learnt in previous classes. Dividing them class up into pairs, Gareeku looked on carefully as he watched them spar with each other."excuse me sensei, but i couldn't help notice you had a new gi on. Where did you get it? is it the new gi of this dojo?" a voice said from the side. The source of the voice was a 15 year old boy. One would easily be able to tell the boy was Dragonian and of Parmecian descent, sporting blue hair, spiky in style, and sapphire colored eyes. "heh, no Danta. This is the gi that Mana gave me at her Dojo as a gift, as a token of our friendship. I should really give her something in return" Gareeku said to his student.
Later that day, Gareeku had rounded up his students for his final talk before dismissal. All of them were kneeling down, including Gareeku who faced them, like one would expect a sensei to. "Today's class went very well. You are all showing great skill and power" The Krazoa-Saiyan said. The students had been worked hard today, and it showed, most of them looking dreary, especially Danta, he had worked himself particularly hard. "However," Gareeku continued, "I know all of you can do better. You all have the potential to be great warriors, every single one of you. We shall meet again in two days time, and i shall want to see you all work at your very hardest" Gareeku said to the group, the students nodding their heads in response, the looks of determination to get better written all over their faces, even though they were tired. "Excellent, then we meet in two days, usual time. Class dismissed" Gareeku said with a smile. Watching them agree to his proposal was just one of the factors that made him proud to be called their sensei. To see their determination to be the best they could be in their faces reinforced Gareeku's belief that he was teaching some truly special students.
Later on, it was early evening, and Gareeku was packing the equipment used in the classes away when he heard the knock on the door. Wondering who it could be, Gareeku walked over and opened it, finding a little boy standing there. His hair was much like his own, except that instead of of just two bangs of hair falling down in his forehead, the boy had many, from one side of his forehead to the other. However, there was something about it this boy, something almost familar, but Gareeku couldn't figure out what it was."Um, hi. Are you Mr. Manoko?" the little boy asked. "Yeah, thats me, how can i help you?" Gareeku replied, smiling slightly. "wow, cool! I watched you in the last tournament, you were great! well it wasn't so great that you were knocked out but you were great all the same" the little boy said excitedly. "uh...thanks, i guess" Gareeku replied, somewhat taken aback, "so, how can i help you kid?"
"well, um...i was just wondering...could i become one of your students?" the child asked. "Heh, sure thing kiddo. just come along on wednesday and you can join straight up" Gareeku said with a smile. "well, actually, i was wondering if i could get some private classes with you, you know, like an apprentice sort of thing" the child said, shuffling his feet a bit while looking at the floor. "sorry kiddo, but i dont do private lessons. Come back on wednesday. Oh, by the way, what's your name?" Gareeku said, somewhat apologetically, seeing the disappointment in the young boy's eyes. oh, ok. My name is Tiraicho Hikaru"
Gareeku was just about to write his name down on the register form when he froze. "Uh, sorry, can you say that name again? just the first part" Gareeku said, looking at the boy before him. "Uh, it's Tiraicho, sir" Tiraicho replied, somewhat nonplussed by the situation. Just then many thoughts ran through the Krazoa-Saiyan's mind as he remember when the Mirror of Pockus had just been finally defeated...
...the shattered pieces of the evil mirror had began to fade away, a sign that its "soul" was heading to hell. Gareeku had been one of the warriors who had battled against this evil entity, alongside his mirror-created counterpart, "Clone Gareeku". All the clones created by the dark mirror were supposedly to be evil. Clone Gareeku however was not. He was in fact a good natured warrior, who had taken it upon himself to join the warriors of Dragonia in defending the planet against this threat. However, Clone Gareeku had been bound spiritually with the mirror, meaning that if the mirror "died", so to speak, so did he. So the clone warrior said his farewells to his counterpart, but then mentioned something in particular..."You know, i dont really like the name "Clone Gareeku", i think i need a knew name...i know, from now on, refer to me as "Tiraicho""...
Tiraicho. Could it be? could this the same Tiraicho? There was something else too. Gareeku could snese something within his ki signature. Although the boy's ki signature was predominantly Dragonian, there was something else...something that felt identical to his own. It had to be, there couldn't possibly be any other explanation. "Say Tiraicho, have you booked anywhere to stay?" The blue tailed saiyan asked the boy. "No sir, i was hoping there would be some rooms in an inn that's just down the road" Tiraicho replied. "Well then, I've got a spare room here if you'd like to use it" Gareeku said with a smile, to which Tiraicho was visibly excited. "Really?! cool! thank you Mr. Manoko sir!" Tiraicho exclaimed happily. "heh, no problem kid. You better get a good night's sleep tonight as well" Gareeku replied, the smile still on his face. "Uh, why's that sir?" Tiraicho asked, somewhat confused. "For your private classes of course, we're going to be starting early tomorrow. Oh and by the way, just call me Gareeku, or "sensei" when in classes" Gareeku chuckled. "Really?! wow! thank you Mr. Manoko! uh, i mean Gareeku!" Tiraicho exclaimed happily, once again visibly excited. "heh, no problem kid" Gareeku said calmy, letting Tiraicho through the door and closing it after him.

That night, Tiraicho had joined Gareeku and the others for dinner. Having not eaten for a good while, the young warrior was rather hungry, and it showed. Hell, he was even rivalling Gareeku in terms of the speed and the amount he ate. After dinner, Tiraicho more or less went straight to bed, the days events catching up with him in the form of great weariness. After he had gone to bed, Gareeku told the others what he had sensed within the boy. Having already been told the story of Clone Gareeku after Gareeku had got back from fighting the mirror, the girls were somewhat taken aback. "Gareeku, are you sure this kid is your clone reincarnate? it all sounds a bit far-fetched to me to be honest" Jin said, her scepticism showing through. "I know it does Jin. But surely you could feel it in his ki signature. Yeah ok it may mostly feel like what a Dragonian's ki signature should be, but there's something about it that feels just like my own. I telling you Jin; this kid is my clone reincarnate" Gareeku replied, visibly excited at this recent turn of events. "Anyways, i'm heading off to bed. Catch you guys later"
The next morning, Gareeku was up early again. After he had washed and dressed, he entered the room Tiraicho was in, the boy being fast asleep on the bed. Grinning, the Krazoa-Saiyan then put his cupped hands to his mouth. "WAKEY WAKEY!! RISE AND SHINE!! UP AND AT 'EM, IT'S TRAINING TIME!!" the blue-tailed warrior bellowed, causing Tiraicho to jump about a foot into the air, Gareeku laughing heartily at this. "What the...? what time is it?" Tiraicho asked, still half asleep and somewhat irritated at Gareeku's actions. "It's 7 a.m. Tiraicho, and its time for your training! be in the kitchen in ten minutes for breakfast!" Gareeku replied, the grin still on his face as he walked out of the room. Grumbling to himself about the "stupid sensei...waking me up so early in the morning...", Tiraicho got himself washed and dressed and headed to the kitchen. When he got there, Gareeku looked at him, well, at what he was wearing at least. Tiraicho currently had a t-shirt on, with jogging pants and trainers. "Well, that won't do..." Gareeku said, a grin once again on his face. "Um, what won't, sensei?" Tiraicho asked, somewhat confused by what Gareeku had said. "What, you're wearing of course." Gareeku continued, Tiraicho looking at his clothes, the confused expression still on his face. "If you're going to be one of my students, you're going to need your own gi. Here you go, put this on" Gareeku continued, picking up a pile of clothes and giving them to the young Dragonian. Realising what the pile of clothes was, Tiraicho smiled happily. "Wow, cool! thanks sensei!" Tiraicho exclaimed happily, racing out of the room with the clothes. A couple of minutes later he returned, now wearing what his sensei had given him. He was now wearing a gi top over the top of his black t-shirt, and pants. In addition to this, he also wore a black martial arts belt, black wristbands and black martial arts shoes. Observing this, Gareeku smiled. "There, that's better. Now, time for breakfast!" Gareeku said happily, walking over to the table where piles of food now lay in waiting, ranging from cereal to scrambled eggs, bacon, you name it. The two of them guzzled down the food, relaxed for a bit, and then went to the main section of the dojo. Tiraicho's first day of training was about to begin.

The dojo than Gareeku ran wasn't actually in the centre of Kosaten. In fact, it was on the side of a mountain just outside of it, the base of the mountain reaching the outskirts of the town. As well as having what one would normally expect to find in a dojo, the complex also had an outside section, almost like a large courtyard so to speak, carved out of the rock of the mountain. This is where Gareeku had taken Tiraicho to, as he had felt that they would most like trash the main part of the dojo if he carried out what he intended to do. "Now then, Tiraicho. First of all i want to see how you fight. Now, can you transform into Dragon Scar?" Gareeku asked his student. "Yes i can sir. My dad taught me how to do it" Tiraicho replied, anxious for the training to start. Incredible...at his age as well..." Gareeku thought to himself upon hearing Tiraicho's answer. "Excellent. What I want you to do now is power up to your maximum in your normal state. Do not transform" Gareeku said, folding his arms as he spoke. Nodding his head in acknowledgement, Tiraicho powered up, his orange aura bursting into life as he raised his power level as much as he could without transforming. "Good. Now..." Gareeku began, his own white aura bursting into life, "fight me!"
The spar went on for a while, Tiraicho carrying out assault after assault. Gareeku however managed to evade every single one, weaving in and out of Tiraicho's attempted attacks, before landing a hit of his own, knocking the young Dragonian. Standing over his student, Gareeku smiled slightly. "How did i beat you?" Gareeku asked calmly. "you were too strong and too quick of course" Tiraicho answered, getting up as he spoke. After a short pause and a grin, Gareeku spoke again. "What if i said that my power level was actually lower than yours during that fight?" Gareeku asked calmly, leaving Tiraicho somewhat speechless. What Gareeku said was true; the Krazoa-Saiyan had kept his power level to a minimum, despite his aura appearing. Noticing this, the grin reappeared on Gareeku's face. "Speed and power are not only factors that decide the outcome of a fight, Tiraicho. You must not underestimate an opponent. You must also be as agile as you possibly can be, and to be able to think quickly; to be able to make decisions in a split second. Only by using all of these factors combined can you outmatch your foe. Now, once more, but keep in mind what I have just told you"
And so the spar resumed, Tiraicho using what Gareeku had told him, faring much better than before, the Krazoa-Saiyan adjusting his power level so it was equal to his student's. After a good while of this, the two of them ceased, walking back to the kitchen and having lunch. Once they had done so however, they were straight back out in the "courtyard". "Now I want to see you transform, and then raise your power as high as you possibly can" Gareeku said, sitting down on to floor to observe Tiraicho. The young Dragonian then powered up, and with a flash, entered his dragon scar form, his hair turning a silvery grey while his aura turned a deep cerulean color, continuing to raise his power level as high as he possibly could. Frowning slightly, Gareeku spoke once more.
"Come on Tiraicho, push higher" the blue tailed warrior said, raising his voice slightly. "I can't push it any sensei. This is as high as it will go!" Tiraicho replied, trying his hardest to increase his power. "Not good enough Tiraicho! you want to be the best warrior in the world, right?! then you must push!" Gareeku replied, his voice now a shouting, the frown still on his face. "But Sensei, I can't!" "Nonsense! do it! push! "I can't!" "Damn it Tiraicho, do it!" "Sensei-" "DO IT!! NOW!!" "AAAARRGGGHHH!!!! As Tiraicho yelled out, a blinding flash erupted from his body, lighting the area up in a white light. When the light died down, Tiraicho now looked different. His hair was now spikier and possessed more of a light sheen. His eyes had also changed, now sky blue in color. His muscle mass had also increased, looking more toned in addition, almost like he was an extremely short adult in a way. What was most noticable about his change though was the fact that his power had increased greatly from that of his old transformation. Tiraicho had done it; he had transformed into dragon scar 2.
Suddenly however, his cerulean aura suddenly disappeared as Tiraicho reverted back to his normal state in a flash, falling to his hands and knees as he panted heavily, having been worn out from the effort it had taken to transform. "Well done Tiraicho, you did it. I'm very proud of you" Gareeku said softly with a smile as he walked up and put his hand on the boy's shoulder, "Now, when you're up to it, we'll try it again". The rest of the afternoon was used by Tiraicho practising his new transformation, in order to get himself used to the feeling and the energy it took. As the sun went down, Gareeku decided to call it today and so led Tiraicho back into the house. Unknown to the young Dragonian however, Gi and Jin had been watching the afternoon's events unfold, amazed that a boy as young as Tiraicho could tap into such power. Noticing there presence, Gareeku turned his head towards them, smiled and winked at them, leaving them with a telepathic message. [glow=blue,2,300]Heh...told you so...[/glow]

That night, while they were having dinner, Tiraicho asked a question that had been mulling around in his mind ever since he had gone back in after the day's training. "How did you know I could transform again Sensei? I didn't think i could" Tiraicho said curiously. "Heh. I noticed while we were fighting in the morning that you had a lot of potential energy built up inside you. I knew there had to be someway of getting it out of you. You see, the Dragon Scar transformation is much like the super saiyan transformation, not only in how it affects the person who can use it, but also what is needed to be able to transform in the first place. You had enough power in you Tiraicho, it was just a matter of getting it out in the open. In order to transform, you needed to experience a surge of emotion within you. The best way to do this I decided, was to you get your aggravated and frustrated. So, when you felt you couldn't raise your power anymore I refused to let you rest, getting you so frustrated it caused you to transform" Gareeku explained with a smile. "Whoa, you know a lot about fighting, Sensei!" Tiraicho commented, a big smile on his face. "Well now, I don't think i'd be much of a sensei if I didn't. Besides, I love combat. I mean, I am a Saiyan" Gareeku chuckled, going back to eating his dinner afterwards.
The next day, Gareeku was once again kneeling opposite his students. However, this time there was one more; Tiraicho. As the class got underway, it was evident that Tiraicho fitted in straight away, ending up as sparring partners with Danta, their power levels being completely equal. As the day wore on, it was evident that the two of them were becoming fast friends, though there was also a sense of friendly rivalry developing also. "Heh, i'll get you next time for sure, shrimp" Danta said to his new friend jokingly as they were dismissed at the end of the day. The teen Dragonian was not one to hold a grudge just because an 8 year old boy was as strong as him. As a matter of fact, he quite enjoyed the fact that Tiraicho and himself had a little competition going on; it encouraged them to work harder, plus it resulted in some great fights. "hehe, we'll just have to see about that" Tiraicho said in response, smiling brightly as he waved his new friend goodbye.

Thursday was soon upon the town of Kosaten, and so Gareeku had taken Tiraicho out for training once again. This tome however, they were on the other side of the mountain, Kosaten being completely out of sight, the landscape now made up of rolling hills with forestry scattered amongst the landscape. "Now then, Tiraicho. Do you know any special techniques?" Gareeku asked his student curiously. "I know a couple sensei. I can do a beam attack, but that takes up a lot of energy. I can also do a technique that my dad taught me, its called "Solar Flare", it can make people blind for a short time" Tiraicho answered, wondering what they were going to do today. "Those do indeed sound like useful techniques. However, today i will be teaching you techniques that I know, so that you have a broader choice when in battle" Gareeku said, his mout curling up slightly into a smile.
And so the day was used by Gareeku to teach techniues to Tiraicho, the young Dragonian managing to learn 3 techniques in one day, a feat that anybody would think to be incredible, including Gareeku. He had in fact set aside a number of days for Tiraicho to learn the techniques the krazoa-saiyan had intended to teach him, but found out he only needed one, amazing the krazoa-saiyan to no end. On there way back to the dojo, they were soon confronted by a gang of what they soon found out to be theives. "If I were you saiyan, i would hand over what goods you've got, and nobody gets hurt" The leader said to the blue tailed saiyan. "Tiraicho, let me handle this" Gareeku said sternly over his sholder to his student. ""Handle" us, will you? I'm sorry, monkey boy, but we can all us Dragon Scar!" The gang leader said rather smugly. "Well whoopee for you" Gareeku replied sarcastically. Angered by this, the gang members' auras appeared, their hair changing color as they could all indeed ascend to Dragon Scar. Smirking slightly, Gareeku's own aura appeared, turning yellow as he ascended to super saiyan. And so the fight ensued, if you could call it that. It was more a case of Gareeku hardly breaking a sweat as he beat down each gang member one by one, powering down to his normal form after he had finished. When all of them had been beaten, Tiraicho stepped forward a smiled. "That was so COOL!" the young Dragonian said excitedly, Gareeku smiling at him in response. "We better take these goons down to the police station"
A few days later, Tiraicho was surprised to learn that Gareeku would not be giving him lessons anymore. When the boy asked his sensei why, Gareeku chuckled. "It's because i've got nothing more to teach you. You are a special young man, Tiraicho Hikaru. In the space of a week, you've managed to master everything that i could possibly teach you. Plus, in order to become the best, you should go out and seek other warriors and learn from them in order to broaden your knowledge of combat. I wish you luck Tiraicho, and i hope indeed that you become the best fighter in the world..."
And so Tiraicho left Gareeku's dojo, reluctantly saying farewell to his former sensei and his new friend Danta, setting out to find other warriors who would train him. It would not be easy, that much was certain, but Tiraicho's determination compelled him and would see him through...

The day after Tiraicho had left, Gareeku was sitting in the main section of the dojo, deep in meditation, focussing his mind and spirit. However, he quickly began to frown upon sensing something. Something was wrong. Very wrong. He could feel an energy far away, an energy he recognised; Ryan's. What was wrong was that it was moving, almost as if it were struggling against something. Never one to leave an ally of his in the lurch, Gareeku quickly snapped out of his meditative state and rushed into the gardens, rushing back in a few minutes later, tucking a small pouch into his gi. Noticing this, Gi approached him. "What is wrong, Sensei?" she asked, visibly concerned. "I have a feeling an ally of mine is in deep trouble, i have to help him" Gareeku replied sternly, summoning his katana to his side. "Please be careful Sensei, sometimes i worry myself sick about your escapades" Gi commented, looking up at her sensei, the concern still written all over her face. Noticing this, Gareeku smiling softly and hugged her. "Don't you worry Gi, i'll be back, i promise." He said softly. Ceasing his hug, Gareeku stepped back couple of paces and put a index and middle finger on one hand to his forehead. "see you later, Gi" He said and, having locked on to Ryan's ki signature, disappeared in a flash of light, Leaving Gi to speak quietly to herself. "i pray that we do. I have lost one father, I do not wish to lose another..."
