"What's the status of the prisioner?"
"He's under full lock and key; there's no way this one can escape, unlike the other two breakouts we've had recently."
Rumors spread rather quickly through the Saiyan space colony on Lunos, and when these rumors deal with Dragonians, no one wants to hear them. Turgor, in fact, was furious to hear of the two Saiyan soldiers killed by a nearly dead, half-blooded mutt. He nearly lost it to the imcompetence to hearing that two more of his guards had not been directly on duty, resulting into the close death of a prisioner of war.
And now, there was no room for mistake; a third prisioner had been captured, and this one was hidden within a steel-walled chamber only a few feet away from the two Saiyan soldiers. Inside of the cell, a full-grown Dragonian lay huddled in a pile on the ground, his arms and legs shackled together with an unknown metal (after learning their mistakes from the past two prisioners, they had learned now to leave their POW's in the least likely position to cause any harm).
"Good." The Saiyan nodded, his body turned in a comfortable leater chair, the features of the commander hidden behind the firm backing. A thin smile crossed his face, for everything was slowly coming into the hands.
The commander looked up at the screen before him; the screen displayed a political map of Dragonia. Almost every continent had glow with a red hue, now that the Saiyans had dominated over the entire world-- save for a few continents here and there. Now, the only major resistance that stood against them was a single continent: the countries of Lavertia and Bedoe.
"Things are turning up well for the Saiyans, aren't they, soldier?" mused the Saiyan commander, turning in his chair. The other soldier stood up saluting him. "Now, we stand before the final hurdle, and the resistance before us will be defeated, once we pull up our ace in the hole..." He looked over at the prison cell, smiling.
However, deep inside, the man they had captured was dazing back into reality, and he heard the words coming from the Saiyans. With each word, he knew exactly what the Saiyans were speaking of. And under his breath, he cursed a swear.
Shit, I need to get back to Lavertia...
