Character Upgrades:
Additional Techniques: Credits may be rewarded to a character for exceptional role-playing, usually at the end of a tough battle or a saga. These credits can also be earned for achieving certain tasks (such as helping out the owner or another administrator). Credits may be redeemed immediately or saved until a later time. Redemption costs are as follows:
- 2 Credit - New Class I ability
- 3 Credits - New Original Class I ability
- 5 Credits - New Class II ability
- 10 Credits - New Class III ability
Clause to the Credits System: You do not need the exact amount of credits to get a new technique! If you want an additional technique, and you do not have enough credits, just get it, and you will be placed into negative numbers. While in negative numbers, you cannot request for an additional technique, and for every -1 credit you have, you need +2 credits to cancel it out. Although that may seems high, it is actually useful for buying techniques when you do not have enough credits to purchase it.
Changing/Upgrading Techniques: You may exchange a current technique for a completely new technique for free.
If you change a technique in any way that changes performance, (with the exception of some writing revisions for clarity) it will cost slightly less than creating a new technique at all. This includes 'attack evolutions,' in which an attack not only gains new performance, but also takes on a new name (this can only be done for class II's and III's). Credit costs are as follows:
- 1 Credits - Change ONE Original Class I ability
- 3 Credits - Change ONE Class II ability
- 5 Credits - Change ONE Class III ability
You can upgrade techniques to a different class just like you can modify and exchange them. For example, say you want to make a Class I technique a Class II. Instead of paying for a completely new technique, you may upgrade it by exchanging in the attack for its credit value, and then subtracting it from the total of a new attack. Here's the credit costs to upgrade techniques:
- 3 Credits - Upgrade ONE Original Class I ability to Class II
- 4 Credits - Upgrade ONE Class I ability to Class II
- 5 Credits - Upgrade ONE Class II ability to Class III
- 8 Credits - Upgrade ONE Original Class I ability to Class III
- 9 Credits - Upgrade ONE Class I ability to Class III
Additional Characters: The privilege to have an additional, regular character is a right to be earned, as it is sometimes helpful to have more than one character (so you can have one in a saga and one somewhere else). Only experienced role-players with a minimum of 255 posts are eligible to have them. Adding a new character will cost 20 Credits. The maximum amount of characters one person can have is THREE (3). (400 posts are required to purchase a third character) Much like exchanging an attack, you are free to exchange one character for another.
Clause to the Character System 01: If your second character is either a released dark side of your main character, of the progeny (child) of your main character, you will get this character free of charge. Although this is true, make sure you have the permission of an administrator before you send in the new character. Otherwise, it will just be deleted, and any traces of it on Secrets of Noria will be removed. Also, you can only get ONE (1) free character in this fashion.
Clause to the Character System 02: You can create an NPC or SAC for temporary use at any time, but it can only be used moderately, otherwise it will cost you the twenty credits and become a second character, or it will be removed from the site. These characters will not count against your list of characters unless you purchase it as a character.
