(OOC: Matt, if you want to finish things on your end with this thread then we'll move on!)
Seth looked on at Aion, concern and worry draped across his face. Ryan had never allowed him to take such drastic actions in the past; he had not even tolerated the thought of participating in such actions, yet now Aion was allowing him to. It was both exciting and extremely worrying. Seth had been lost in his own thoughts when Aion suddenly sprung over the dragon’s side, cascading down towards the ground below. Seth’s heart jumped up into his throat and was held there as he peered over the edge after Aion. Worried had now consumed him, though he knew the longer he put it off less chance of him helping there was. Taking a deep breath, in hope it would suffocate his fear, Seth threw himself over the edge of the dragon and down towards the icy slide that Aion had created below.

The Knights had formed up together and were now reaching the position within the city where the large, REAL dragon was floating high above. Some of the Knights were nervous, and rightly so. A real dragon had never been dealt with before now, but that wasn’t the main reason. The warriors of time were unknowns. Speculation had surrounded their existence for as long as anyone could remember and almost as far back as their history books went. What they were capable of had always only been theory, meaning that they could possibly all be in trouble.
Caution was needed, extreme caution.
“Why had they stalled in their escape?” One of the Knights worriedly asked. No one answered as no one knew why. It made no sense. It was completely illogical. With their location as clear as day it would be a matter of minutes before the elders of the council would once again seal the warriors of times powers and then capturing them would be all but too easy.
Then suddenly a lone figure dived off of the dragons back, then another in close pursuit. This was a shocking turn of events. Suicide had all but been eradicated thanks to the healing abilities of the Alleviators, but to resort to hurtling yourself towards the unavoidable death gifted by gravity in an attempt to escape being re-captured was a useless waste of life. All but the most stomach hardened Knights turned away from the sight in front of them, an action that was their instant undoing.
For the few who didn’t look away at least half of those were stunned into silence by what their eyes were witnessing. The first figure to dive off of the dragon hadn’t hit the floor below him but had rather formed a sheet of ice, a slope if you will, and had proceeded to slide down it towards the group of Knights, the other figure copying his movements.
It was a collision course.
As the Knights who had seen this began to shout and scramble out of the way the other Knights had finally turned around to see what the fuss was about, slowing the escape of the others. It was too late. The ice manipulating warrior of time and his follower collided into of Knights, sending them flying in several different directions. It was unexpected anarchy, so unexpected that the Knights had no time to react. It was then, amidst the chaos that a booming voice resounded within each of their minds.
“Return to the academy at once. New developments must be discussed.” it was Lady Verechi.
The Knights were again surprised by this turn of events but they all knew better than to disobey a direct order from Lady Verechi and Lady Verechi spoke for High Lord Estrkin. Each Knight, having heard the command, all scrambled to their feet and fled back in the general direction of the academy, leaving but Aion and Seth within the street to enjoy their victory, despite the strange circumstances it came under.

The young boy known as Brandon hadn’t even the chance to reply to the old samurai before a group of Knights burst through the wall, which was actually an illusion and the only way in or out of the prison. They looked somewhat flustered as if unorganised. It wasn’t a surprise when Ryan thought about it, not considering that a group of thousand year old warriors had just broken out of possibly the most secure location on the entire planet; that was bound to take the resident guards by surprise.
The Knight who was at the front of the group immediately looked off towards the gaping hole within the academy wall as he entered the prison; he couldn’t help but feel even more shock. It was obvious great power was needed to cause such destruction, and keeping the destruction to such an isolated and specific area also took great skill. The warriors of time were quite clearly powerful beings.
Looking amongst the small group that remained the Knight instantly moved towards Brandon, the smallest and youngest of the group. “You! You did this, didn’t you!? Where have your friends gone?! Tell me!” He moved towards Brandon, looking to grab his arm, but the smooth and calm, yet frighteningly intimidating, voice rung out through the room.
“Leave the boy.” Was all that Ryan said at first, though it had been enough to stop the Knight dead in his tracks and turn to face the samurai. Ryan was still knelling in the same place as before, sword laid out in front of him and his eyes closed. “It was I who destroyed the wall and freed my fellow captives. Yet I have remained behind.” Ryan opened his eyes and looked up at the Knight, his face unwavering and emotionless. “I believe it is time that you took us to speak with High Lord Estrkin.”
The Knight was silent for a moment, a mixture of fear and angry rushing through him. Finally he sighed and moved back over towards the invisible doorway. With a wave of his hand the door appeared. “Fine. Get up, all of you. I’ll take you to High Lord Estrkin.”
