As she sat at the table reading the book she found, she needed to take her mind off of things. She lend against her hand and closed her eyes. She started to rest a little until she knew Cham was awake. She slowly opened her eyes to look at him and smiled. "Good Morning."
She listened to him say sorry and that he needed to apoligize to Father Nightgale. "it will be okay. He will be back in the morning. Even though Sofia disappeared somewhere." Sofia had left the hotel to go and find some information about Jimmy.

Father Nightingale had awoken at the first sign of the sun, he woke up easily as he always did. He knew he should go down and talk to this cham fellow, communicate with him better, but right now his blood was still boiling, he needed to work off some steam. He reached into his coat and once again Pacifica's "eyes" swarmed around his hand, and he grabbed and pulled, as he pulled a golden light emerged from his coat, and from this golden light a sword began to appear. A moment later he held it, six feet long with a blade as wide as his head, the sword was silver and seemed to be made of one piece with a eye on the inside of the blade, well more of a symbol of an eye, much like the egyptian symbol for Ra. The blade was simple, a lond stright blade with a point, the only decoration other then the eye were six spikes on the blade right about the handle forming a crossgaurd of sorts, these spikes were swept back, pointing at a 45 degree angle "down" towards the pommel, the spikes were three inches long and seemed to be in sockets of some sort, though this blade was massive Father Nightingale held it easily. For a while he just stood there, the blade infront of him. and then he moved, his front foot lashed out in a stright kick, landed on the ground and the sword swung out in a horizontal blow, he spun with it and then reveresed it, pulling it towards himself and then stabbing outwards quickly once and then a second blow that was faster then the first. It was an old technique, one in almost every battle style, it had many names in many weapons, he thought of it as "the old one-two punch". The minutes turned to hours as he practiced, his mind a void except for making each swing perfect, each move efficent, each attack deadly. This was not the fighting style of a fighter, but one of a killer.

Cham got up from bed and gave a nod, though he still looked very concerned. I have to go find him, I'm afraid this can't wait. Cham said moving towards the door and he stopped, looking around. "Is that his aura I feel? It feels like he's in battle, and not training, but I dont feel any other auras..." he said looking to her, thinking she might be able to offer an explanation, he's never heard of that before. Kihaku had drilled him long and hard about the different forms people fight in, all depending on emotion and how their aura's reacted.
"It doesnt matter," he said opening the door to find Nightgale. He traveled down the halls, unsure if Shizuka was following. He was concerned about the man. Cham followed stairs every which way until finally he emerged onto the roof.
Cham watched Nightgale in his battle with what seemed like an invisable enemy. His style was exquisite, strong, powerful, and precise. Cham was good with a sword, but he didnt think he'd be able to match him for long. Besides, Cham was more proficient anyways in hand-to-hand combat.
Cham stood back, not wanting to get in the way. The majority of Nightgale's moves seemed to be killing blows, though they are usually used sparingly in a fight, but his seemed more natural, fluid, as if every strike was to demolish. Cham found this fighting style very interesting, to fight as a killer. He had never done this, and had never actually seen it. There have been people, like the last Dream Demon, who fought to kill, but they fought in an attempt to block and strike, not to necessarily kill right away. Killing blows are usually done towards the end when the enemy has a huge opening or they are too tired to fight back, but it also leaves the one doing a killing blow with large openings. Nightgale, however, did not have any of them.
Cham sat down, watching him go, waiting for him to be complete. He figured that if he tried to interrupt, that would worsen the emotions between them, as well as it may get him to strike with that sword. Cham was quick, so he would probably be a good match up against him, but he really couldnt tell how this fight would go.

((OOC Shizuka has given me permission to post out of turn)) Father Nightingales practiced on, in his minds eye he was replaying a battle, on of many, swarms of demons around him. One by one they fell, and he battled till Pacifica interupted him. "Father, we have company." He turned his head, and for a moment the past and the now overlapped, and he could feel it. He could feel his bloodlust, long buried, boil to the service. It screamed at him to kill the intruder, to cease this meaningly false battle and bath the rooftop in the blood of this stranger who dared to insult him. For a second the voice sounded persuasive, sounder oh so right. Just as suddenly he realized it for what it is. He smiled and whispered. "Sorry old man of the forest, it is not that easy. You are gonna have to do better then that." He shouldered the blade, the edge resting on his shoulder. Normally this would have cut him badly but Pacifica sensing what he was doing dulled the edge of the sword till it was incapable of harming it's weilder. The motion was practiced, the result of a hundred battles. He gazed upon Cham and was supprised on what he saw on Cham's face... could it be... respect, the respect one warrior would give another while at the same time wondering how the battle between the two would end. His heart softened a bit towards this stranger. He walked towards him, slowly, deliberatly, showing with his relaxed attitude that he meant no harm. He leaned on the railing surrounding the roof and looked down, but his attention was definatly towards Cham. "Okay, I know there are things you want to say but let me explain... things went... badly last night... I think we were both to blame for that, we are all too aware how dangerous strangers can be... I don't know you but Shizuka trusts you and that should be enough." He looked down upon the street, watching the people rising and playing, watching the celebrations of the week long tribute to the "moon godess" resume. "anyways, in a way you are right about last night, I am a slave of God... but that is not why I do what I do... that stopped being the reason a long time ago... it wasn't enough." He looked down and watched as a group of children in masks ran down the streets, giggling with joy. He pointed down. "There is the reason I fight. That is the reason I do not hesitate, that when I strike at someone I am striking not to disable, not to win a fight... when I fight I am fighting to kill them, to crush them utterly." He looked into Cham's eyes, Father Nightingale's eyes were brimming with a hard truth, one that he had long ago accepted. "I fight because as long as I do then by the grace of God they will NEVER have to." He looked down again, his voice going hard. "They will never have to gaze upon their home town ripped apart, they will never have to look upon the bodies of their loved ones as they are torn apart by monsters. They will never have to even worry about the fear of having their guts filled with acid as a demon stands over them feeding on their pain.... in life every one has a cross to bear. our crosses are heavy, but maybe.. just maybe... if I bear mine.. their's will stay all the lighter for it." With that he went silent, lost in memory.

Cham stood up meeting him, his head straight and proud. He listened as Nightgale told of why he was fighting, the truth of it was that Cham's goal was not all that far from his.
"I come from a people where violence in any form, whether to hurt or to stop yourself from being hurt, is evil, and must never be done. I've come a long way from that home and I call this planet my own home. I dont believe our goals are all that different from one another, and we don't need to make enemies of each other, when we could, just as well, work together to better achieve this goal."
"We have different beliefs, and I was wrong and horrible of me to have said what I did yesterday. There is no excuse for my actions whatsoever, and for this, I apologise whole heartedly. The things that I said were done out of frustration and were not you're fault, and I shouldnt have used you for blame. I hope you accept this apology. We might not ever be able to call each other 'friend' but we shouldn't call each other enemy. Why make the goal we both wish for any harder than it already is?"
Cham looked up at the sky, as if hoping to see someone that wasn't with him. "I have a friend, his name is Kihaku. He has taught me everything about fighting that I know, and uses in a few Chaos Techniques. He is very powerful, and one can very much take his attitudes as hostile and evil. If you ever meet him, know that he is a very good person, and will fight for the protection of this planet. But, he wont hesitate to eliminate you or anyone who might stand in his way. Together in battle, we may not even be able to defeat him, so he's one you may not wish to cross too deeply."
Cham turned away from Nightgale, walking a few paces away on the rooftop, stopping, he turned around, the morning sun brightening his face as he gave Nightgale a smile. Cham's eyes were shining brightly as Cham pulled a sword from a green scabbard at his waist. The sword was simple, not elegent in the least bit, but sharp.
"I've seen your fighting style, and I wish to experience it myself. I wish to duel you Nightgale. I wish to see how you stand so I know if you are capable of defending this planet to the evils that will certainly come."
Cham brought the sword in front of him and put himself in a ready stance, one that was low, and had an elegent offensive quality to it. His body began to glow a green and purple color. "I wish to see the power of Warrior of God, and I'll show you the power of a Warrior of Channeled Chaos." Cham said, his eyes seemed to glow even brighter, which made him look as though he had no whites in his eyes, only one complete purple and one complete green eyes.

((ooc for ease of understanding from now on Father nightingale's voice will be black, not for any reason other then it is easy to read)) Father Nightingale looked upon him, his eyes narrowed. Then he nodded, he knew Cham was not about to back down from this request, but he had been both touched and disconcerted by his words. He unshouldered the blade, holding it with both hands he gazed upon Cham deep in thought for a second. "I agree, I need to see what you are capable of, to test myself... and I would like to be your ally. but there is something you should know. It is only fair... only fair for me to come at you with all I have. But you need to understand something, I do not fight alone, and I am not talking about God being on my side, though he is... I fight with the power of one of the Angels that battled in the War of Heaven. I fight with the power of a partial Fallen angel, I fight for her, with her, and using her. As punishment and a chance of redemption she was sealed in this blade, and while I wield the blade she..." With that nine silver spheres the size of baseballs floated out of the sleeves of his coat. "She is my shield and my bow, my ally and my mentor.... without her I would have died long ago... you wish to know the strength of God... of a warrior of God... then I will show you every thing I am, everything WE are. Defend yourself, or you were surely fall." The six spikes on the blade extended from three inches to six. He had been five feet away when he moved, the movement was practiced, a move so used it had become pure muscle memory, He swung at him horizontally from the left, the strength of the blow full, but controlled. Just before the blade would have reached Cham he took his right hand off the blade and the three spikes facing him retracted back into the blade with stunning speed, the impact of metal on metal was loud, and shook the air. The blade reversed direction with out any stop, if anything it picked up an amazing amount of speed, the strikes at the air before were nothing compared to this, they were a mere lazy dream of a sword swing compared to this. He hand reacher behind his back and caught the blade as it swung on the axis of his shoulders rotation, he relashed with the other hand and swung with it. Perfect muscle memory, no hesitation... and not for one moment did he take his eyes off cham. The balde approched, and with more then speed, with power, and momentum enough to spare. To parry this was madness, to block was suicide for the arms of the blocker, the only hope was a dodge.

Cham blocked the swing with the sword, his arm going partially numb with the brute force of his opponent. Cham would surely be killed by this man if he didnt put his damn sword away. And that was just what Cham had to do. Nightgale was moving quicker than before, and seemed more precise. Cham didnt have a chance to match him in sword combat, so he had to do the only thing where he hold advantage from, hand to hand.
Cham lept back, the last powerful swing of the sword bearly grazing his mid section. Cham jumped back a few more paces, a happy smile on his face. "You move quickly Nightgale." That last swing of Nightgale was scarey powerful, if he had tried to block it, his sword would have been sliced along with the rest of him. He felt his stomach momentarily before putting the sword in it's scabbard.
Cham raised one hand towards him. "But we can't have you battling right after you practiced like that. I'm at 100 percent, you're not. I want you to be at your peak," Cham's hand turned a bright green, and at that point, Nightgale, though perhaps not using very much energy during his practicing, would feel every bit of energy return to him. It would be as if he had just had a good stretch and was in top health for this battle.
Cham straightened up. "There we go, now we can have some fun," Cham said, thrusting a hand into the air. His whole body reverberated a purple aura, and he seemed to split into 3 identical forms. His middle one was himself, the other two were his clones. It was no big act in seeing who to actually strike since his clones had no face, just smooth skin, no eyes, no nose, nothing. His clones were quick, but they weren't as strong and fast as Cham himself was.
Cham launched forward, swordless, with his two clones at his sides. "Here is a trick I've been practicing, maybe you can help me here!" Cham said, both of his clones moved away as all three surrounded him, far enough away as to not be easily struck by the long sword.
Cham pointed both hands towards his clones, one towards each, and each did the same. Cham's hands, similar to when he healed Nightgale, glowed a bright green, only this time, the air around him seemed to spark to life, a powerful jolt of what seemed like green lightning erupted form both Cham's hands, traveleing to the clones and then through them to their other hands, surrounding Nightgale in an electric fence.
"GRAH!" Cham yelled, the electrical fence seemed to intensify. He then closed his hands as so did the clones. The green lightning poured in from the sides, streaking inwards, at powerful and fast speeds. This would be costly if Nightgale didnt escape in time. Cham knew he would and didnt want to actually kill him, but knew that this wasn't an easy thing to get out of, since his sword could only be made out of metal, it made the lightning all the more attracted to it.
Still, it was possible for him to dodge out of it, but couldnt be easy to get out without being hurt. This was, by far, one of Cham's small tricks. He just wanted to see how quick this Nightgale was.

Father Nightingale had not been suprised when Cham dodged his Impact Strike, he had been thrown a little off when Cham healed him, but he regained his composer when Cham's counter attack began. As the clones surrouned him the silcer spheres surrounded the priest, spilt up into groups of three the orbs watched carefull. "careful he is clever." "I know" When the fence was thrown up the orbs ceased the observation and went into action, with supising speed they formed a shape, if someone in the mood to play three dimensional connect the dots they would have noticed they formed a dome over the priest. When the lightning struck they were ready, William did not flinch, did not dodge, did not even blink as the lightning struck. He spoke sadly. "You still do not understand..." As spoke the orbs glowed gold and sheets of semi transperent golden energy connected them forming a soild doom around him, the green lighting impacted it harmlessly. "You think you are fighting one... LET ME SHOW YOU YOUR ERROR!!" As the lighting died down the shield vanished as quick as it came and the orbs moved in the air, three pointed their carved eyes at each of the "cham's" and fired a blast of golden energy, it was a basic blast but it would get their attention, while this happened three of them attached themselves to William's back and a pair of golden wings constructed of pure divine light came into being, and with a flap and a burst of energy he rushed towards Cham, flying at high speed low and near the ground. As he approached he swung at Cham's legs with one hand on the sowrd and before the swing was completed he pushed of the ground with his free hand spinning in the air and lashing out with his foot towards where his stomach would be if he jumped up to avoid the blast. As he did this the remaining three motes shot up the back of his coat and shot out the neck of it, they floated there just looking at Cham.

OOC: I hope a remeber how to post. missed you guys!!!!! Sofia watched Cham and Father Nightingale fight. She watched there moves as if they were moving in slow motion. She curled up on a high branch hidden for the others and sighed. She rubbed the back of her neck, she felt so sore and tired lately and wanted so much to hold her mirror again. The riseing in power arounded her turned her back to the fight.

The clones dissapeared in a puff of purple smoke before the shots hit them. Cham had no real use of them anymore. Cham smiled as he saw a somewhat mechanical transformation. It so far, seemed to be two against one, since Nightgale held no real power on his own, it seemed, that Pacifica was providing the man with all his tools.
Cham watched the new winged Nighgale launch towards him, and right as Nightgale went for his feet, Cham jumped forwards as well, using his size to shoot between the blow to his feet and the large sword over his head, making it a close call but making it none the less.
"C'mon Nightgale, you show a lot of fireworks, but dont make Pacifica do all the work," he said with a smile, watching the orbs float into the air again. Cham wasnt about to judge, but it was seeming as if Nightgale was using a lot of energy with his blows. The thing that was making it harder for Nightgale, and Cham hoped he was going to realize this soon, was that horribly large sword.
He may be strong with it, but you can be stronger than someone and it'll offer no avail if you can't catch them. Cham was quick, and Kihaku taught him to be strong. Cham's light display earlier was simple.
Cham thrust his hands out again, they glowed the bright green, healing all energy that Nightgale might have wasted. If he wasted a lot, then Cham didnt supply everything, but he wasnt sure. This kind of healing was easy, to heal endurance was easier than healing wounds. Cham hadn't actually wounded Nightgale yet so he didnt have to worry about those wounds.
"Let's try again," Cham said removing his sword and throwing it to the side. It was only getting in the way at this point. Cham charged forward, letting loose two blasts of Chaos Energies as he came upon Nightgale with a furry of punches and kicks. His blows wouldnt make Nightgale sustain too much damage, but they were quick and rapid.

(( Sorry Raron, the auto-hit time has expired ))
Cham's punches langed in quick movements, though Cham wasnt sure if Nightgale was too tired from exerting too much energy and Cham didnt heal very much or that he was just surprised, that's when he felt it though.
Cham quickly jumped back to the edge of the roof and stared off in one direction. "They're here..." Cham said audibly, though it was more for himself, and with a flash, he was gone, abandoning the battle.

Sofia gasped and fluttered down to Nightingale. "Father Nightingale..." She knelt down next to him and checked for injeries. Worry was written over her face. She patted his cheek softly for a responses. "Nightingale..." She leaned in closer and see if he was breathing. She slowly calmed down when she felt a puff of breath on her skin. "You'r not dead are you?" she whispered. She pulled back and looked around for Cham but saw no one. "Where is everyone?" She sighed and spoke to Pacifica, "Is he okay?"

(Raron has ask'ded me to post on his behalf, and his User isn't letting me on, even though I know the requisite stuff... so I've been late on the uptake. He's off for family reasons So posts are gonna be a bit inbetween. Sorry about the inconvenience) Father Nightingale underestimated his spunky opponent, hoping to have some time to react to Chameleon's assault, but Cham was a quick little bugger. Cham's initial blows met their mark, right to Father Nightingale's body, and winded him, almost knocking him straight to the ground. Cham then was distracted by something, and left very suddenly, leaving Father Nightingale to gasp for breath a little. He grinned at Sophia, and took a couple steps to shrug off the pain of the blows as Pacifica laughed at him in that voice only he could hear... the exchange had been more humorous than anything else, really. "I'm alright Sophia... Just.. gimme a minuite to get my breath back" he said, his pride a little bruised.

OOC: >< sorry it took me so long to post. Thank you for telling me, I was begining to worry about him. I hope he is doing okay. ^^ Tell him if you can I'll have a big cookie for him when he comes back. Sofie Momo*
Sofia smiled and nodded waiting silently. "So where is everyone?" She asked turning her head to find someone. She was starting to worry about Shizuka, and calmed herself. She had to stop worring about her, she was a grown woman who could make her own dections. Sofia sighed mentally and stood. She was scared she was make some of her life chooses and didnt want her to be hurt as she had been. Falling in love with Loki was a mistake and she knew it. He never loved her. As a lover, a sister, or a friend. What he did for her long ago was forgotten to him. She was nothing more then a faded memory to him. With an upturned head and she nodded, time to start again. No more pain or heart ache for her. No more worring. If she kept up with the way things were she would mad. Heaven forbid that she already was. With a new smile of hope and up lifting confendence she spread her wings. "I'm ready to start again."

OOC: okay its been awhile and I'm not sure whats going on so I'm going to post again and if someone doesn't respond, I'll start a new thread for Sofia. ^^
She smiled as she made her way through the forest with easy. She felt her heart had been lifted from a ever lasting depression and light was shaded upon her. She stopped at a small brook and dipped her feet into the cool water. She listened to the natures sonata float around her. She expanded her wings as and strong wind rustled the trees and their leaves fell around her. She smelt the fresh air and fragrance of lilies and wild flowers. She opened her eyes and smiled her first strong smile in along time. Maybe she should leave. She needed to be strong for herself and hold her own for awhile. If she didn't, she may rely on Nightingale like she did Loki. And that ended VERY badly. She didn't want another Loki in her life. He was like the wind blowing in and out of her life and her depending on him like the lonely little sailboat. She laughed at herself. "Comparing myself to a sailboat is sad Sofia. Even worse is when you start talking to yourself." She sighed and reached for Mirage and then let her hand slip away. She missed her mirror, her only contention to people and her friend. She sat there for hours till the sun had set and colors played with the sky. She though about how she was spending her life and how miserables she was making herself and people around her. How she would change and how it would effect her. She though about Loki a little, just a little. She wondered how he would look at her now that she was totally done with all his games with her. But then again she didn't care. Then a strange thought came across her mind. What would Dimitri think? She laughed. Probably ask if she were really Sofia, but then maybe not. She sighed and closed her eyes and relaxed under the full moon.
