Crimson's eye-brow rose at Elena's answer to his question, which wasn't really much of an answer. "Monsters? Agents of chaos? This is the worst hangover cure ever..." he muttered, massaging his temples with his spare hand. When Elena screamed out to Al for help, Crimson also said, "Go on, Al, I've got this guy!" Turning back to his opponent, one of Cyclops' sand snakes suddenly hissed directly in his face, its jaws wide open and ready to bite.
Crimson let out a panicked yelp, leaning back just enough so the snake's bite missed his face just barely. The second snake's attack would also miss as Crimson side-stepped round, bringing the Sword of Cinders down on the first snake's neck as he did so. He then leapt over the first snake and brought both his feet down with extra force on the second snake's neck, hoping to crush it beneath his shoes.
Turning his attention back to Cyclops, who he had now seen to dodge the Phoenix Fire attack that was still burning near him, Crimson scowled and raised his spare hand, saying, "Take two then!" He swept his spare hand across so that the flames rose up and struck down on Cyclops' right side, in another attempt to consume him by the flames using his flame manipulation.
Crimson then extended his spare hand again and fired out a concentrated Ki blast, a split second after the flames attacked for a second time. The flames had now died down in strength, so they would not be hot enough to kill on impact- they were more of a diversion, as the flames receded just as the Ki blast would collide with Cyclops. But the deep rumbling underground couldn't be heard above this noise, so Crimson was unaware of Cyclops' next attack.

As Elena slammed into the earth from the woman's attacks, the earth seemed to cave in a little under her, an invisible force wrapping around her to cushion the impact and protect her while she regained her composure.
A shadow drifted lightly across her as a figure appeared slightly above her, floating in a position that protected her from her attacker.
Al gritted his teeth, his fists clenching at his sides, barely restrained energy coursing through his veins as his eyes leveled at the woman who attacked Elena. A monster of chaos, eh?
This would get most interesting.
"I'm not one to give threats,"[/i][/font] Al 'pathed, his message ringing softly in the attacker's head, "but if you choose to keep attacking this woman, I will have to interfere.
"This is the only time I'm going to warn you.'[/i][/font]

Though Alexander's voice rang clearly in Siren's head, when she next spoke, her mouth didn't move either. Instead, her voice seemed to emanate from all around him and Elena, who was still woozy from hitting the ground with such force. "If you choose to defend her, I will have to kill you." She raised her right hand to point directly to her right, and with a lound ringing, there was a flash of a light blue color, and a four foot long staff appeared in her hand. At the top, crowning the weapon, was a forked peice of metal, either end squared and perfectly perpendicular.
With a flourish and a sweeping motion, she struck the forked end against a nearby tree stump. From it's tip came a barely audible ping, continued as long as those two protrusions vibrated. Switching hands, she brought it over towards another stump, and once it reached a certain distance, the wood exploded in a sudden blast of splinters and dust.
Giving it a twirl above her head, she didn't realize that Alexander probably wouldn't be phased by such a show of power, and Elena was still too groggy to be termed completely conscious. "Well, I guess you've sealed your fate." With a swish and a jab of her staff, the air seemed to shudder as a low frequency blast of sound jolted from her weapon straight to Alexander's chest.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The two snakes had missed, though they weren't anywhere near done. The sword bit deep into the neck of the first snake, nearly severing the head from the body. Still, these snakes were made of sand, held together by magic, and they weren't about to die as a normal snake of it's size would. It twisted about onto it's back, and pulled itself up, curled over to look down on Crimson with it's hood flared. The second was indeed pushed down against the earth, but not enough to break the magic bonds linking it with Cyclops. It brought it's tail up and made a powerful sweep with the tip, attempting to knock the arrogant man over, perhaps even wind him to disable him.
The first snake hissed loudly, and from it's open mouth, there came a sudden downpour of needles made of sand, six inches long, a mere centimeter thick. They hailed down from above his head, while below and behind him another geyser of sand erupted, a third snake forming from it's gushing contents. The hooded neck widend instantly, curled forward in the air, and with fangs bared made a dive for the firey individual.
Cyclops was hardpressed to try and stay alive, his sand powers pretty much the only talent he had other than his gift of sight. When the Phoenix fire leapt up to attack him once more, he ran quickly forward, only being slightly singed from the fire. However, when the Ki blast came screaming in, he had little time to react, and was smashed painfully in the shoulder by the energy attack, though the snakes never wavered in their onslaught.

Al remained unmoving as the woman known as Siren made her show of strength, and unleashed her attack; he seemed not to throw up a defense at all as the blast of sound came screaming at a deafeningly fast pace towards his chest, invisible to all but the keenest of senses.
However, as the blast reached a point in the air just a few feet from his chest, it seemed to disappear altogether, falling apart like threads in a weave that could no longer stay in their place only to tumble helplessly in a heap on the floor. The waves of sound dissipated almost as quickly as they were made, fading and vanishing altogether as they hit Al's chest, the last remnants of the sound not even pushing him back as they disintegrated into a puff of energy that was whisked away in the sands of time.
Al, still, had not moved, his eyes focused only on his opponent. 'If defending this woman has condemned me to death, so be it, but so long as I draw breath, you shall not lay a hand on her.'
Suddenly, he vanished, nowhere to be seen, as if he had not existed at all. Only a tuft of a breeze would decipher his true location - standing behind the one known as Siren, only a foot away from her back, his hands laying at his chest, eyes staring directly into the back of the woman's head - as if he was looking directly into her soul.
'Try as you might, your sound waves won't affect me - you focus your energy into the waves, and create a wavelength with them; I can dissipate them as quickly as you can make them.
'Now, let's stop with the games and finish this; I haven't the patience to deal with hostilities at the moment.'
His right arm extended in a rush towards the back of the woman's spine, directly between her shoulder blades, a concentrated wave of telekinetic energy erupting from his mind in a rush as it exploded forward with deadly precision.

Crimson had made a vital error in his battle plan, and it seemed it had all gone pear-shaped for the arrogant youth. "Ha! Take that One-Eye!" he yelled arrogantly, punching the air as he did so. His mistake had been, naturally, his cockiness. He had thought the snakes had both been destroyed with ease- and this wasn't true in the slightest.
The first snakes attack therefore caught him completely off-guard, and he didn't evne have time to cry out, as the tail struck him hard in the stomach, forcing him off his feet and hurling him to the floor. He dropped the Sword of Cinders at the same time, and collided hard with the dirt, only just managing to roll onto his side as he did so. Winded, he struggled for breath as he forced himself up onto his hands, just in time to look up at the second snake's onslaught.
His eyes met those of the sand snake, and the needles fired down at him. Several of them struck his body full on, stabbing into his arms and chest before he even had a chance to cower. But then, the figure of Crimson wavered, and suddenly the rest of the darts were striking empty air as Crimson's Zanzouken technique had helped him escape.
In the split second after that, a massive pillar of flame, only a foot in diameter, would burst up from the ground underneath the second snake. The fire was incredibly hot, and much stronger than the previous Phoenix Fire technique. Crimson crouched to the left of this pillar, his eyes shut, and when he opened them they were glowing white-hot. The instant his eyes opened, the air around him ignited, and the Phoenix Presence made itself known.
[glow=red,2,300]"You thought that was hot?"[/glow] Crimson asked Cyclops, his head cocked to the side and a lazy, arrogant grin once again plastered on his face, despite the sharp needles sticking out of his body. Crimson dashed in towards the first snake, spun on the spot and unleashed a deadly spinning heel kick aimed at the snake's head, the flames shooting up along his leg and burning whatever they touched, including the air as it ignited around the snake.
In the next split second, Crimson crouched even lower next to the snake, and clicked his fingers. An orange spark flashed briefly, then Crimson's body exploded outwards in an attractive yet lethal display of power, as the Speed of Sparks technique made itself known. He reformed behind Cyclops, orange sparks regathering to form his figure out of nowhere, and he whispered to Cyclops, [glow=red,2,300]"You ain't seen nothin' yet."[/glow] In the same moment he said this, he thrust his blazing hot fists straight towards both of Cyclops' kidneys, the Phoenix Fire flames erupting along the, as he did so.
After this double punch, he spun around Cyclops' body and in this same spinning step threw his right elbow up and towards Cyclops' chin. Finally, he thrust his palm with immense force directly towards his opponent's stomach, both of these attacks causing Phoenix Fire to jump along his limbs and surely impact very painfully with Cyclops if they hit.
Finally, Crimson leapt backwards, and skidded to a halt next to the Sword of Cinders again. Hooking his foot underneath the blade, he kicked it up and caught it with his right hand. As soon as his hand touched the sword's handle, the air fizzled out of flames, and his eyes returned to their ashen colour they were before, as Crimson transformed out of the Phoenix Presence. He could've maintained it longer, but he was once again being his normal, arrogant self.

Siren hadn't expected that sort of a reaction from this person, Alexander. She merely created the waves with her power and let them fly as they would, but he seemed to be able to counteract them entirely, regardless of whether they were being formed or already en route. She whipped about when she saw he was no longer above Elena, knowing he had to be somewhere. The attack, however, still caught her side, and instead of catching her spine, caught her stomach, driving the wind from her lungs and forcing her back.
As her wits were scattered about, she vaguely remembered Elena was in this general direction, and that she was on the ground and vulnerable. Turning around and holding the staff as tightly as she could, she was suddenly stopped. Her sky blue eyes were staring into liquid brown sugar, hardened to a shell that barely masked very violent hostilities. Their noses were almost close enough to touch, though neither even seemed to breathe. Then, with an instinctive spasm, Siren coughed up a black fluid, the consistency of blood. She looked down, only to find Elena's right gauntlet pressed up against her stomach, the black blade of her weapon protruding from her back, dripping that same dark liquid.
The beauty of both girls seemed to intermingle for a moment, as one's life began to slip away, just as the other was seeming to regain her own. The scene was almost a gothic evangelistic pose, the saber of one cutting the thread of life of the other. Siren drew in a shuddering breath, pain glazing her eyes as she stared past Elena, now into a realm only she could see. "I... failed. Y-you beat me... I didn't think... you could..."
"And that... is why you die."
With a jerk and a shove, Elena simultaneously ripped the blade from Siren's gut and pushed on her shoulder, sending the creature of darkness to the ground, where she lay for but a moment before disappearing as if made of smoke. Cyclops gave a sudden gasp, his uncovered eye widening as he suddenly realized he was all alone. "Sai! DAMMIT!" He let the snakes desintegrate on the spot, and turned around, and was faced with Crimson's attacks. The shot to his kidneys were now attacks to his abdomen, which he sidestepped and attempted a clothesline. Instead, Crimson ducked around and tried to get his head with his elbow, but the warrior jumped forward and dodged it.
He scanned the area, looking desperately to see if he was mistaken, but he wasn't, the still dripping blade Elena held just to her side to prevent getting it on her clothes setting something off inside him. With a shudder, his entire body tensed, and there welled within his body a great rage and sorrow. His body then seemed to mist a black aura, as if he were slowly evaporating. Instead, the huge piles of sand that'd once been his snakes flew through the air directly towards him, engulfing him in a mountain of rock grain and silicon. It seemed he was buried alive, until the giant hill shifted upwards, two pillar-like stumps retaining contact.
Moments later, it began to grow outwards, twin appendages that sprouted fingers. From the belly of this quickly forming monstrosity, a deep rumbling could be heard that grew until the creature was fully formed. Twenty feet tall, it didn't seem to have a head, though there was a large black spot centered five feet from the top of it's body. A huge slit appeared, and it opened to reveal rows of ivory white, spear-head teeth. It was then that the gargantuan released it's fearsome roar, bellowing with the strength of rage at losing a commrade.
Cyclops had to be taken down, and soon.
"Aw crap. Now I'm gonna get sand in my shoes."

Crimson was blown back by the sudden force emenating from his opponent, and he skidded along the ground on his feet till he eventually came to a stop, near Elena and Alexander, his current allies. he turned towards Elena, a frown of complete confusion on his face, and asked, "What the hell is this guy?!"
Sheathing his sword (he doubted it would be much help here) Crimson frowned up at the 20 foot sand monstrosity before him. He could only think of one technique that could even the scales for him against it- the Twin Tailed Dragons. "Yeah! Do it Incendarius!" Suicard piped up, sensing Crimson's intentions. "Sure thing! We can take him!" Nogard added, and Crimson was decided. Shuffling his feet slightly further apart, he shut his eyes, called on the Phoenx Fire, then clapped his hands together. The tattooes shot along his arms and leapt off his fingers tips, the magical ink spreading out in the air above him.
"Y'know you asked if they can breathe fire?" Crimson asked Elena without turning to face her, then relaxed and the twin Tailed Dragons let out an echoing roar. Three times the size of Crimson, they were near the new and improved Cyclops' height, but not quite. Still, their clawed legs stretched out viciously and, with a razor sharp grin, the attack begun.
All four clawed arms shot out at the same time, each slashing individually massive gashes towards the sand beast's mid section, before stretching out and aimging to grapple with the sand beast's arms as well. Two arms to one advantage, but the sand beast would probably have a trick up its sleeve.
Having done that, the two dragons leaned their heads in and let loose a massive blast of white hot Phoenix Fire, that shot up into the sky as a blazing pillar, and barely missed the top of the canopy of trees, thankfully not starting a forest fire of epic proportions.

Al, watching the ensuing gargantuan transform in front of him, and keeping an eye on Crimson's attack, went on the offensive himself.
His attack would be in two parts; the first, his mind was already working on. Siphoning a tunnel of telekinetic energy around Crimson's stream of fire, and twirling it slightly as it traveled, he was able to amplify its power several fold in the span of an instant, the flames collapsing on themselves and expanding at the same time, the potency of the flames' heat concentrating on itself all the while. By the time the flames actually reached the monster, they will have been amplified over dozens of times in power.
The second phase of his attack was more direct; calling upon the energies within himself, Al allowed some of it to release between the palms of his hands, his wrists locked against each other in front of him, aimed towards the beast's torso. Brilliant silver light began to appear between his palms, the life energy of his body siphoning from his body into a semi-materialized form, condensing as it formed to also gain in potency; as the cyclops had paid no attention to him so far, he had more than enough time to concentrate. His teeth gritted, eyebrows furring slightly with concentration, before he smirked slightly, arms tensing for the briefest of moments as he stared as his prey.
Time to die, demon.
Energy erupted from the palms of his hands, a concentrated blast of energy exploding in a rush towards his target's torso, the power of the blast more than sufficient to punch through even the toughest of skin and rip through the demon's body - if it hit, at any rate. The blast was somewhat focused, only several feet in radius, a wide area of effect sacrificed in favor of potency and strength.
Hopefully, the flames would stun the beast long enough for the second blast to connect; he had to wait to be sure. At any rate, he threw up a light shield in front of him of telekinetic force, in case the demon decided to charge at him or counterattack.
((OOC: Holy crap, this whole thread's been nothing but crap posts on my part. v.v I'm sorry, everyone!))

"NO CRIMSON DON'T... fuck."
The Cyclops sand monster had the singular black spot trained the entire time on Crimson, and when the dragon claws came in for the offensive, an increadible mistake was made. When the claws tore at his midsection, the sand gave way, but instead of falling off as one might expect, the splashed and shredded like skin and muscle, but didn't fall off. Instead, they froze in place, then were sucked back into place. When the claws came in to latch onto the arms, the sank right in, and the sand ran up the limbs, like millions of tiny ants marching towards an insect prey. The entire upper body was now gone, and when the blast of fire came into range, it passed entirely over the remaining sand, fifteen feet off-mark.
Meanwhile, the bottom half then began to move, clumping together into two seperate piles, the leaping into the air, diving at Alexander. Midair, they shifted and shaped into two serpentine heads, each the size of a hippo, jaws streached wide, fangs aimed to kill.

"Oh... that sucks..." Crimson's shoulders slumped in defeat as he looked up at his captured ragons, who were struggling and swearing against the sand beast that had latched on to their limbs. GAAAAAH! This feels so incredibly weird!" Nogard's head shrieked in annoyance, as the sands grated against his scales in a very uncomfortable manner. "Seriously Incendarius, you have no idea!" Suicard agreed, tugging away from the sand beast with all his substantial might. Together, they might just be able to rip themselves out of the sand beast's grasp- and while they tugged, they continously breathed the same white-hot flames up and down the sannd monster, hoping that this time they'd have an effect.
Crimson turned to Elena, drawing the Sword of Cinders and asking, "Okay, plan B time. What the hell do we do?!" Then hearing a familiar noise, Crimson turned to see another pair of serpentine heads diving towards Alexander. "Aw hell naw, not you guys again!" Rushing into the fight, Crimson swung his blade with force towards the left snake's teeth, hoping to clash against them and make the snake recoil, as he figured he was stronger than sand... Taking a step back, he raised his left hand and unleashed another fierce blast of Phoenix Fire at the snake's head again. He turned to Alexander and nodded, "Paid ya back for that help earlier man. Have you got any more ideas?" he asked, swinging his sword a second time for the snake's jaws, aiming this time to dislocate its head in twain. (OOC: Ha! Twain. ;D)

The sand that’d been crawling up the arms and legs of the dragons was being slowed quite a bit because of the white hot flames being poured upon them, and it seemed to have an effect all around. The snake heads had slowed in their attack, allowing the Cinders to crash right through the head, which promptly burst as if made of water, dousing Crimson with a deluge of tiny granules. The second snake head, now the only one left, took the fireblast to the face, and an interesting thing happened: the sand melted.
A quick look over at the dragons would reveal that the sand that’d been slowly creeping up their bodies was now almost completely melted, the singular purpose driving them having been halted when they themselves became molten. Elena, who’d been asked for a plan B, promptly gave one. One could almost see the light bulb in her head flicker on, the excitement in her face clear and pleasant to see. “Crimson!! Get your lizard buddies to melt aaaaaaaall the sand! Al, I know you’ve got a thing for energy, so when it’s all melty and stuff, pull out all of the heat energy from the stuff! It’ll crystallize and we can smash it to bits!” The plan, after how difficult this entire fiasco had been… seemed almost anti-climactically simple.
Punching her right fist into the air, she smiled broadly, her aura flaring out of instinct before it quelled on its own. “Yeah! Let’s do it to it!!”

Crimson scratched his red hair in confusion, and looked at Elena with a blank expression. "Are you sure? That seems sorta... I dunno... Easy?" He shrugged nonchalantly, if a little disappointed that he had to give Cyclops such an unworthy ending. Shutting his eyes for a brief moment and lowering his hands to his sides, he imagined the Phoenix. The red bird appearened to him easily, its long golden head tentacle... things... extending out behind it, igniting at the furthest ends. It stood on the black pedestal inside the Garuda Gorge, Crimson's own private mental realm. Its eyes were shut but, when Crimson looked closely, its eyes flashed open, and in the Phoenix's eyes he saw the very fire of creation, the spark that caused all, and it was...
Opening his own eyes, Crimson realised he had activated Phoenix presence once again. The Phoenix Fire had bult up around him in a pillar of scorching heat, the flames licking his body without doing any damage. Turning his now white-hot eyes up to the sand creature, he slowly raised his leftt arm, flexed his left hand, and the flames that surrounded him all gathered there, forming a white-hot sphere of incredible amounts of thermal energy. The white-hot sphere was also surrounded by many other colours of flames, dancing around the surface of it, as red, yellow, orange and even awesomely hot blue flames scattered around it.
[glow=red,2,300]"Adios, One-Eye."[/glow] Crimson said, smirking as he did so, then shoved his right hand forward. The sphere of Phoenix Fire was launched directly towards the bottom of the sand monster that had previously been Cyclops, in the hopes of crippling it from the bottom while, at the top, Nogard and Suicard unleashed their own simultaneous attack.
Both dragons reared their heads back, opened their jaws, and then snapped their necks back down and unleashed two point blank gusts of flame, criss-crossing the top of the sand monster in a large X formation, as they both struck from different angles rather than the middle, so it would be harder to defend against. The dragons' jets of fire blazed continously, and when the white-hot sphere Crimson launched was fired, they turned up the heat, hoping that, together, they would finish this thing off once and for all.
