(OOC: This thread happens at the exact same time as the thread ‘Calm Before the Storm…’ does.) Metapha, a large, flat island just a couple of miles off the edge of Western Parmecia. The country itself is completely covered in flowery pastures, large grassy plains and small gently sloping hills. Extremely strong winds impel through this area from all directions, causing it to be prone to tornados as well as hurricanes during the wetter seasons of the year. The sun shines down conceitedly upon the land; however, this is only the case for a small part of Metapha. A halo of mountains labelled by the people of this country as "Hell's Gate" surrounds at least three-quarters of the island. Inside the mountains the air is cold and fog move over everything. The grass is dead, the riverbeds have come to an end and most of the land is cut out into several valleys. It was daytime in the quite lovely country known as Metapha and, as usual, the sun was beating down upon the ground but because of the extremely strong bursts of wind every so often the temperature was kept down at a most comfortable level. The sun, with all its yellows and oranges, hovered within the sky at its highest point of the day, it being midday, but for anyone who had been looking up at the sky in Metapha, or any of the nearby countries, a strange sight would have caught their eye, something not common for Dragonian at all. A meteor strike was falling from space. There were six in total, all falling through the sky at rapid speeds, leaving a bright orange tails across the sky behind them as they moved. It was quite peculiar actually, all six of the meteors seemed to almost be falling in a loose formation of sorts, quite synchronised in fact. Within a few seconds the meteors, one by one, smashed into one of the many hills of Metapha, causing quite a vicious explosion of earth and noise as each did. Each meteor had landed relatively close to each other, in fact with roughly only ten to fifteen metres separating each of them, each impact creating a slight crater around them. Moments later several noise became apparent from within the craters where the meteors had landed, six individual noises of something mechanical seeming to open, each noise slightly different in both tone and pitch but easily recognisable that each was similar. Silence then fell after that, but only for a few seconds as the silence was replaced by an assortment of slightly muffled footsteps from within each of the craters. Slowly, one by one, six figures emerged from the craters. All of them via two were men. In total there were four men and two women, the women extremely feminine looking, and beautiful and seductive to a certain extent. The men were pretty much the same as each other also; quite slim, yet muscular and toned at the same time. They were all kitted out with unique armour, a brown tail tied around their slender waists, a scouter residing upon the side of their heads as well as black hair, each ones unique in style. They all seemed very young, late teens if that, but each of them had a smug smirk upon their face as they looked out over the surrounding area. “Heh…looks like we got lucky with our area. I wonder what kind of place the ladies got?” one of the young Saiyan’s at the back of the small formation said. Stretching her arms one of the female Saiyan’s glared towards him. “Oh thanks! So am I one of the guys now? Do I look like a guy to you?” it was in a sarcastic voice but clearly not a question, rhetorical. Merely grinning to himself the first Saiyan male turned his head slightly towards the male next to him, all the while not taking his eyes from the female as he muttered. “Well I can’t be sure with your looks.” Her face exploded in rage as she almost jumped the not too short distance between them and throttled him severely, but a much deeper and determined voice rung out through the air, as if stopping her in her track of thought as she turned towards the male at the front of the pack. “Silence, all of you. It’s like working alongside a bunch of low class Saiyan children…” a certain level of annoyance and anger present within his voice as he spoke. “We have an important job to do, despite what I know some of you may think. This is not a pleasure trip or holiday leave…lets get to work.”

You could almost hear the soft background music over the scene, as Kilix Gyro soared swiftly over the pastures of Metapha. Every now and then, a gale of wind would make him sway in his path, but this almost seemed like a planned part of the journey as he soared gently back into position. After his battle with the young dragonian Tiraicho, Kilix had set off after another target to analyse...
Kilix stood, battle-weary, on the fields of Metapha, Tiraicho having just flown off to follow through his adventures. Kilix gave a nodding bow, but then with a gut-wrenching cough, a wad of crimson blood was splattered once more on the fields. Kilix swaggered slightly, falling as if in slow motion down onto the soft grass.
He awoke with a large weight on his chest. Coughing slightly as his eyes opened, he beheld a miniature Liixan, jumping continuously up and down on his chest. "Is this going to happen every time I wake up here?" Kilix said, getting more and more irratated with the Robot's antics. "No sir, only now." said KGB, in his usual chirpy tone.
"Stupid robot." Kilix muttered, but he knew that he was needed. But soon, his woozy flight was interupted by a sudden shock in his mind. His chip was activating, 6 strong power levels, coming in fast. Kilix swung around, to be confronted with a large pod of sorts, coming in at speed. Kilix shot out of the way, twisting in the air and circling around the pod, ending up above it, watching the craft fall to the ground.
Kilix felt his bruises ache slightly, perhaps a warning not to get involved. But he knew he must, he was on a mission from the Liixan Consulate. It was his duty. He set off at speed towards the ground, as 6 figures emerged from their 6 pods...
“Oh thanks! This is not a pleasure trip or holiday leave…lets get to work.”
But before the Saiyans could move one foot, a small figure landed with a slight crouch before them. He stood at his tallest (Although, granted, this isn't much), and faced the warriors. "Name, Rank, and Power Levels please." Kilix said in his most authoratative tone, "The information is required of the Liixan Consulate."

Falkan Reval was tearing through the sky on Vi'drek's back, now in week two of their fruitless search for the dragond spheres. His frustration had grown nearly intolerable as he scoured the Zolan lands with absolutely no idea of what he was trying to find, and he had determined a change of scenery might be helpful. The usually cynical warrior was beginning to almost enjoy the fresh air and the wind in his face when a blazing meteor passed only inches from his head. He was about to shout at Vi'drek for his carelesness when a whistling sound alerted him to another incoming. For several seconds, the bird and his master were caught in a flurry of ducking, dodging, and weaving away from the six falling stars.
"Only six meteors, and in formation too? Vi'drek! Circle back. Something's not right about this."
As the bird made a wide sweeping turn, Falkan watched the objects slam into the ground. His casual interest turned into something more intense when six figures emerged from the meteorites, and were instantly approached by a small, furry fellow. He shifted his weight just the slightest bit, signaling his Sarstou it was time to land. Moments later he was walking up behind the little guy, his cloak and hood concealing his features.
...information is required of the Lixian Consulate..."
So the little one is an ambassador of some kind. Never did like diplomats...
Reval stood a foot or so behind the Lixian, making sure to hide his power level. He crossed his arms and looked the newcomers over.
Armor - warriors of some sort. Don't know what the things on their eyes are...what the? Are those...tails?
Having never even heard of Saiyans before, it was safe to say the V'alcan warrior had no idea what he was getting into. Not that it would matter in the end. He still stood motionless, only watching the strangers and waiting to see how they would respond to the ambassador, or whatever he was. Something told Falkan these warriors were going to be trouble, and the one creature in front of him might need a little help...

The group of saiyans that had landed were just about to get going when something, or rather somebody, appeared before them. The first being to appear before them was a short, furry, almost somewhat cat-like being, who asked them for their names, ranks and power levels. In response to the Liixan's request, the teenage male saiyan at the back of the group laughed. "hahaha! this is our welcoming committee? what a joke. Hey Taruk, think the Dragonians are too scared to face us themselves or what?" the young warrior said, his cockiness shining through. Turning around, the leading Saiyan, aka Taruk, shot the young warrior a glare, to which the young saiyan promptly went quiet. Turning back to the short furry being in front of him, and now also the taller, cloaked man standing just behind him, Taruk spoke again.
"Please forgive Joshin for his careless words." Taruk began, shooting the young Joshin another glare, "I am going to be as blunt as i can be when i ask this question...Are you allies of the Dragonians? if so, i am afraid thart you will both have to suffer the consequences..." Taruk continued, a smirk appeared on his face as he folded his arms, awaiting the two warriors' answers.

Kilix stood, rigid to attention, as the adolecant Saiyan gave his remarks. He did not flinch, a young and, presumably inexperienced warrior like him wouldn't stand a chance against a trained Liixan Agent. He instead only addressed their leader when he posed his question.
"My mission is to observe and investigate the peoples of this planet. If you mean to harm them, then it means you are no friend to me." Still as military as ever, Kilix crouched into a defencive stance, ready for the inevitable fight that was about to occur.

Falkan bristled at the teenage Saiyan's threat. He was one of those people who simply couldn't abide arrogance or cockiness in anyone but himself. The furry creature's courageous response evoked a slight softening of the V'alcan's trademark scowl - the closest thing to a smile one was likely to see from him.
Taruk nodded, as if noting the Lixian's response, then looked expectantly at Falkan. That stupid adolescent smirk still adorned the young Saiyan's face. After several seconds, Falkan decided to dignify the pathetic excuse for a warrior with a response.
"I do not have allies on this planet, boy. However, if you have any thoughts in that infantile head of yours about destroying this planet or the innocent people on it, I suggest you take them elsewhere before I find it necessary to beat them out of you. You have been warned."
He remained in the same position, arms crossed, still shrouded in the shadow of his cloak, and waited. Expecting some action, the sword Rhiannon hummed softly at his side.

Hearing Falkan's remarks, Joshin's face was filled with rage as he advanced forward. "warn me?! you Dragonian-supporting filth! I'll-" Joshin began, before being stopped dead in his tracks by Taruk, the leader of the saiyan scouts not taking his eyes off of the two warriors in front of him, a look of upmost seriousness on his face. "Judging from your answers, I take it you do indeed take the side of the Dragonians. By doing so, I am afraid that by Declaring your alliance with the Dragonians, you have also declared yourselves to be our enemies" Taruk said grimly. "Binesh...you, Joshin and Kasha take the cloaked fighter. Myself, Vaxx and Finuk will take the small furry being." Taruk said commandingly, the spiky haired saiyan at the side of Taruk nodding in acknowledgment before he, Joshin and the female saiyan he had been teasing earlier stood off against Falkan.
Taruk and the two remaining saiyans, a tall, short-haired male, known as Finuk, and a long haired female saiyan, known as Vaxx now stood off against Kilix, Taruk himself cracking his knuckles as he prepared himself for the oncoming fight. "I did warn you little one, but it seems you are too foolish to consider the correct choice..." Taruk said with a slight smirk, before suddenly shooting forward, disappearing and then reappearing at Kilix's side, siming a chop at the Liixan's neck, Vaxx and Finuk standing by, ready to jump in if necessary.
Meanwhile, Binesh, Joshin and Kasha stood opposite Falkan. "By choosing to ally yourself with the Dragonians, cloaked one, you are now an enemy of ours" Binesh said calmy, a look of upmost seriousness on his face, Joshin smirking as he cracked his knuckles. Nodding his head to the other two, Binesh suddenly disappeared, followed by Joshin and Kasha. Three fists then came flying in at Falkan's gut, the back of his neck and the side of his head as the three saiyans suddenly reappeared around him, their auras flaring brightly as they made their attack.

As the Saiyans split into their two teams, Kilix started running possible battle plans through his head, trying to cover any eventuality before the fighting actually began. Granted, this isn't overly easy when you don't know what your opponent is capable of, but it is still a wise decision to make. When they Scouting unit's leader, known as Taruk, approached him, with his underling lackies, he moved but an inch, but it gave an extra stretch to all the muscles in his body.
"I did warn you little one, but it seems you are too foolish to consider the correct choice..." said the Saiyan commander, before launching his lightning fast attack. However, no Saiyan could match the speed and reactions of a highly trained Liixan. As soon as Taruk appeared for his attack, Kilix knew exactly where he was, the microchip in his brain sending him the exact co-ordinates of his arrival. As the Saiyans hand swung towards Kilix' neck, he quickly leant backwards, which developed into a half flip. Kilix held himself up with one arm for a fraction of a second, before pushing upwards for a strong kick to the Saiyan's chin. Due to the fact he had just extended his arm by quite a way, it would make this attack all the harder to dodge.
Hit or miss, either way the thrust of the kick would have brought Kilix down behind the Saiyan, although now he was surrounded, he cared not. All situations are escapeable. Staying in his ready stance, Kilix took the opportunity to reply to his assailant. "Right and Wrong are in the eyes of the beholder," he said, "The way I see it, it was the incorrect decision on your part to attack this planet in the first place."
For a moment, he let a sliver of cockyness seep into his voice, "But then again, you didn't know I was here."

(OOC: I like the different approaches the two teams took. This is going to be good!)
Hidden beneath his hood, Falkan's eyes rolled at the Saiyan's remarks.
This kid takes himself way too seriously.
Still, he kept his power level hidden, just in case the kid really was something to worry about. The attack was predictable enough. Any three warriors worth their salt would start off with a simultaneous attack. Strength in numbers and all. While it was the best tactic, it was also familiar to an experienced warrior. That being the case, Falkan decided to apply one of the new tricks he had learned while alone in the desert.
To Binesh, Kasha, and Joshin, it appeared that their attacks connected beautifully. A half second later they would learn otherwise. The cloaked figure they had hit was an image, nothing more. Unless they checked their punches, the three would end up trashing one another instead. Meanwhile, Falkan was above it all, hanging in the air two or three meters overhead. He had kept his arms crossed underneath his cloak for a reason.
In a flash he had flung his arms out and downward, releasing the six throwing knives he had been holding between his fingers. The weapons continued toward their targets with blazing speed and pinpoint accuracy, but Falkan had no illusions of even ameteur warriors being taken by such a simple attack. His real plan was already in motion as he disappeared again.

Kilix's strategy had paid foot, as the Liixan's feet slammed into Taruk's chin, propelling his body up half a mater in the air before the saiyan flipped and landed on his feet, a bruis becoming apparent on the spot where Kilix had hit him. Listening to what the Liixan had to say, Taruk smirked and chuckled slightly. "Oh really? well, my furry little friend, i dont think you know the full story, so i suggest you keep your opinions to yourself" Turgor replied to Kilix's comment calmy, nodding to the other two, who charged up with their auras blazing, Taruk doing the same. With her hands glowing with energy, the three saiyans then proceeded to unleasha barrage of ki balls, the energy raining down on their Liixan opponent one after the other, not letting up for a second. _____________________________________________
Binesh, Joshin and Kasha all smirked with satisfaction as it appeared that their attack had hit home...wrong. Quickly realizing this. the three saiyans heard the ruslting of a cloack and, looking up, saw Falkan unleash a barrage of daggers from his cloak. Thinking quickly, the three saiyans did their best to dodge the hail of blades, the three of them appearing to be alright, aside from Joshin, who was abosultely furious. "My tail! that bastard got my tail!" Joshin exclaimed in fury and pain, holding his tail in his hands, the end of it now a bloody stump thanks to one of Falkan's blades. "That's it! I'll kill him!!" Joshin roared, and was about to lunge at his cloacked opponent when Binesh intervened. "Joshin, no! have some god damned discipline! at least it wasn't your head!" Binesh growled at his comrade. It was becoming evident that Binesh was the secind-in-command of this unit of saiyans, his level-headedness shining through as he spoke in a commanding tone. Kasha meanwhile was struggling not to laugh at Joshin's misfortune, but quickly composed herself upon hearing Binesh's commadning voice. Suddenly, the three of them were on the offensive again, appearing around Falkan in less than the blink of an eye, all of them going for a double axe-handle smash to their opponent's head and shoulders. The three of them would then follow Falkan, unleashing a barrage of ki beams at ther foe in order to try to weaken him by bombardment.

Binesh's tone and demeanor weren't lost on the Warrior of Reval. He knew a leader when he saw one. Furthermore, he knew a weak point when he saw one. Joshin's rage needed control to prevent him from making a stupid mistake, and Binesh was that control for now. The rest was easy.
By the time the three had appeared and launched their attack, Falkan was gone again, but this time his approach was less evasive. He reappeared directly behind Binesh, already in the middle of a powerful kick aimed at the saiyan's shoulder blades, followed by a ringing sound as Rhiannon tore through the air in a downward arch toward Binesh. From that, he teleported again to behind the girl, threw a lightning fast flurry of punches at her head and back, then flipped forwards over her, putting himself in the middle of the three again. There he whipped his staff from beneath his cloak and swung it a full 360 degrees, hoping to clear the area. He appeared again several meters away from the team, dangling the majority of Joshin's tail in front of him.
"Hey, junior! You looking for this?"
He threw the tail on the ground, spat on it, and kicked some dirt onto it with the toe of his boot.
That should just about do it...

*A ways off*
Kihaku had never seen the like of the strange falling stars before, though there was something all too familiar about them. He wasn't walking, more gliding over the ground, the air lightly keeping him up. With a clang, the sudden appearance of the power levels set his nerves on edge... a fight was happening.
Whispering, urging the winds faster, he sped to the fight, hoping to be there for the last moments of the defeat. He always gave last rites, even to the undeserving.
When he was finally within sight, he saw two people, a lixian and another warrior, fighting... saiyans. Six of them. "Not a fair fight, time to even the odds." He entered a dive, and activated his wraith mode. Time to administer justice.

((One word Kihaku: LIIXAN!!! The "I"s go together, not either side of the "X". Sorry, I've been doing loads of background shit for the race so that kinda bugged me Apart from that, welcome to the melee! As long as I keep the leader, Im fine with who you want to mame and slaughter )) The slight delay of the Saiyan commander's words were all the time Kilix needed to calculate the most probably outcome for the next attack. As the Saiyan group raised their arms, Kilix flicked his own up and activated the Shields from his palms, the domes bursting out in a yellowy-brown flash. Although, this was unnoticed as the much larger display of Ki from the Saiyans was far brighter. However, Kilix's shields did their job, protecting him from the barrage. It was then that Kilix noticed the newcomer. Glancing over his shoulder for just a second, he noticed the rather odd looking man, dressed entirely in black but with Red eyes peering from the hooded darkness. Seemed a bit intense. "Hey New guy, catch!" Kilix said, as he flipped up into the air, being sure to keep the Shields protecting him from the Ki, although now it was below him. The blasts themselved were now heading towards the warrior Kihaku, a subliminal test from Kilix to see how he'd react. Observe and Investigate, that was the mission. However, the task at hand was the Saiyans, who would find it difficult to see a flipping Liixan through the fray of Ki they had unleashed. Overattacking can always be a downfall. Kilix deactivated his shields once he was close enough to the Saiyans, spinning around into a downwards kick towards Taruk. Take out the strongest, the others soon falter. Flipping away after his attack, Kilix waited, his back to the jagged mountain, and one finger lingering on his trusted blades.

Falkan's first strike in his next assault was met with success, as his fist slammed into Binesh's shoulder blades, causing the saiyan to stumble forward as he gritted his teeth in pain. Kasha also did her best to fend off the V'Lacan's punches, but was not fast enough, some of Falkan's strikes hitting home, the female saiyan grunting in pain as she was hit. As Binesh and Kasha were slightly dazed from being hit, as well a Joshin occupied with staring at his now stumpy tail, all of them were hit by Falkan's staff, the three of them falling to the floor. Getting back up again, the three of them were about to launch their next assault when Falkan held up Joshin's tail, proceeding to spit on it and kick it into the dirt. Seeing this provoked unbelievable rage within Joshin as his aura rocketed outwards and upwards."Now you'll pay!" the saiyan warrior roared, rocketing forward at his opponent before Binesh could stop him, swinging wildly at Falkan with punches and kicks. _____________________________________________
Kilix's plan had also worked, the explosions caused by the saiyans' ki blasts masking his movements, his foot slamming into Taruk's jaw as the Liixan knocked the saiyan to the floor. Getting straight back up Taruk looked at the new arrival and turned to the others. "Kasha! Finuk! deal with our new arrival!" Taruk shouted commandingly, the saiyans he ordered oberying, reappearing in front of Kihaku. Taruk knew that Kihaku was more than likely their enemy and so took no chances. Turning back to Kilix, Taruk started his next assault, Vaxx following in suit. reappearing behind the Liixan, Vaxx swung her leg round in a powerful kick, disappearing as Taruk reappeared, going for a series of punches and kicks to various parts of Kilix's body, looking for any potential weak points he and Vaxx could exploit.

It seems his opponents were now down to two, but it seemed they were now bringing out the slightly-bigger-than-before guns. However, the Saiyans had learnt nothing from past ventures, the female disapearing to make her attack. The microchip quickly proccessed the Ki signature, and Kilix flipped forwards, the kick sailing straight over his head.
Within moments of this dodge, thoughts came into Kilix's mind as the Microchip gave him Taruk's location, and the Liixan quickly formulated a plan of action. As Taruk started unleashing his attacks, Kilix flipped into him, sending a few kicks into the flurry as he went. However, guessing that this wasn't going to work twice, he chose a new tactic; Decoy.
Kilix, who had landed behind the saiyan after his attack, spoke up, "Behind you, numbskull," he started, awaiting Taruk's attack...
