It was mid afternoon in the land of Larleta. It was hot, incredibly so, yet it made no difference, as Larleta was always liked this.
Flying over the shores, a certain blue-tailed warrior was on the lookout for any signs of saiyan hostility, his senses on full alert as he eyes scanned to lands he was currently flying over. If any saiyans were to show up, then Gareeku knew better than to take them on. Such a move would be foolish, even for warriors such as Ryan and himself. The saiyan's sheer numbers would prove to be more than a match for the two warriors, not including the fact that the saiyans were respectable warriors themselves.
"Ryan, I think it might be an idea to maybe continue on foot for a little while. We may be able to get a better impression of the situation if we are on the ground ourselves" Gareeku called to his friend, before beginning his descent into the hot and humid forests of Larleta.

The continent of Larleta, a part of Dragonia that Ryan had actually never visited himself. The air seemed extremely stuffy and humid, even when moving through the air at such speeds, but Ryan had been a keen one for study in his younger years an knew much about Geography, even if it was one of his weaker subjects, and knew that this country was almost always in this state; a natural sauna. Below, the land was completely covered in trees for as far as the eye could see, which was basically the entire length of the small continent from this height, but it wasn’t the beautiful and amazing scenery that Ryan was taking the time to appreciate, he couldn’t, he was too busy making sure that he and Gareeku remained safe from possible attacks.
It wasn’t until he heard his friends voice over the pushing noise of the wind that Ryan actually looked up and diverted his vision from the surrounding area. “Ok.” Ryan half shouted out in reply before tilting his body to the right to follow Gareeku’s decent down into the rainforest below.

Descending down into the forest, Gareeku's boots made contact softly with the ground and the warrior landed on terra firma. Looking around, the warrior saw that their surroundings were just like what one would expect of a rainforest. The sunlight was broken down into visible rays as it streamed through the tree tops and onto the ground below, making the surroundings slightly dimmer than when in normal sunlight. All around, the sounds of wildlife could be heard; birds were singing and crickets were chirping, the collective sounds being almost deafening.
Scanning the area for power levels as he hid his own, Gareeku found that there seemed to no presence near...at least, no saiyan presence...

Crystalina had been patrolling the forest when she had noticed two strange figures in the sky that seemed to be getting nearer. She followed them staying a distance behind from tree top to treetop. More intruders, she thought to herself watching them as they finally landed on the ground. Slowly and steadily she held her bow up and sent an arrow whizzing at them. She would n ot let them destroy her home as the others before them had tried to do. Visitors were not welcomed here and she would make them pay.

A Rainforest, a dense evergreen forest occupying a tropical region with an annual rainfall of at least 2.5 meters ; in this case it was certainly bigger. Following closely behind Gareeku Ryan quickly closed in upon the treetops; this was going to be fun. Gareeku soon disappeared beneath the leaves, Ryan almost immediately followed. It was almost similar to a game of tag only with the branches of the trees being ‘it’. Swerving in and out, back and forth, up and down, until the ground came into view. Slowly the speed down, and slowly flipping over into a vertical position within the air, Ryan’s feet slowly and softly touched down against the soft and fertile soil. “Perfect.” he muttered to himself, a smile upon his face.
Click. Instantly Ryan’s knees bent slight as he listened closely to what he could only put down to the snapping of a twig beneath someone, or something; they were not alone. “We are no alone…” Ryan muttered at a volume that only Gareeku would be able to hear. As far as Ryan knew this rainforest had constantly been under pressure from the threat of being wiped out in the past, the only thing standing against it being the people upon the continent, so it was completely possible to be a native; after all he couldn’t sense a Saiyan presence. Slowly turning around on the spot Ryan was using his enhanced vision to try and see off into the distance and spot whomever was nearby, if he could hear them he could see them but the brush of the constant trees and bushes made that near impossible; then silence fell. The constant noise from the wind blowing through the leaves with the constant noises from the wildlife were all that filled his ears, then a sudden whistling. Quickly he tiled his head to the side as an arrow shot directly past and into the tree behind him; silence fell once more.
Looking in the rough direction the arrow came from Ryan saw nothing, nothing except leaves and bushes; whomever was attacking them was a person of the forest, that much was certain. “Be careful my friend…” Ryan muttered slowly, as he stepped backwards towards the tree that the arrow had impaled. Taking a hold of the arrow and pulled it clean from the bark.

As Ryan had heard it, Gareeku had also heard the slight crack of a branch or twig nearby, and his senses immediately went on high alert. Like Ryan, Gareeku assumed it must a be native of the forest, as no saiyan presence could be felt. The noise of the wildlife did not help matters either, as it almost drowned out the slightly ruffling on the feathers of the arrow as it neared. Suddenly realising that the arrow was fast approaching, Gareeku suddenly at his hips, the arrow whizzing past as it barely skimmed the bridge of his nose.
That had been close, too close. Listening to Ryan, Gareeku nodded in acknowledgement as he stayed on high alert. This was a difficult situation indeed. Should Gareeku call out to the attacker, or should he wait to see what happened next? Gareeku honestly did not know as he tried to figure out what to do inside his head, his muscles tense as he waited for what would happen next...

Crystalina watched as the arrow slightly missed one of the targets. She restrung the bow quickly this time shooting three at once. They hadn't scared as easily as the last intruders. Oh well, this would give her a chance to improve her skills. "You shoudln't have come...now you must pay the price", she said loudly using a trick she had learned so that it seemed like her voice was coming from every corner of the forest. It was quite useful, it allowed her to still retain the element of suprise. She watched the arrows soar at them and sat waiting and watching to see what move they would be making next.

Slowly Ryan glanced down at his hand and the arrow within his palm, relying only upon his senses as a means of alert while his eyes and brain were busy. The arrow had no distinguishing markings upon it so it became almost impossible to decipher if the person on the other end of the bow was part of a specific faction; it would have helped interpret just how dangerous this person really was. Right now Ryan was leaning more towards he or her being quite deadly, and quite serious too. Before Ryan could even suggest anything he suddenly heard it again, the very same whistling but louder, zooming in towards him once more.
Instantly Ryan tilted his head back up once more, it was more important to him at this point in time to figure out just exactly where this person was than avoiding the arrows; bone and skin can heal but if they didn’t put an end to this soon it could drag out for eternity and possibly result in injury or even death. They had come from directly in front of him, obviously not through a tree or anything, but the attacker was nowhere to be seen; he or she was hiding, and doing a good job of it too. Quickly Ryan threw down the arrow, it digging within the ground, before lifting his right arm up in front of him, palm up, and grasping onto the wrist with his left hand. Instantly a ball of Ki appeared floating above his palm before suddenly shooting forward and dispersing outward, vaporising the oncoming arrows.
It was then that the attacker spoke, a woman. Her voice seemed to come from all directions, a clever trick indeed, but she wasn’t everywhere, she was in front of them where the arrows were coming from; a beautiful voice as well. Without waiting for another volley of arrows to come flying in their direction Ryan outstretched his right arm to his side as suddenly a thin beam of Ki erupted from his hand in the shape of a longbow, a thin arrow of energy appearing in the opposite hand. Quickly he brought the two together and strung the arrow. “Lady of the forest, we mean you no harm. We are passing through the forest to avoid detection…cease your attack or you’ll force me to retaliate.” Ryan bellowed out, making sure she heard his request.

Just as Ryan had, Gareeku heard the whistling noise again, only this time it was louder. Looking up, the blue-tailed saiyan saw that three arrows were now headed the two warriors' way. Before he could do anything however, Ryan had already taken care of this predicament, firing off a ki balls and vapourising the group of arrows before they could reach their intended targets.
It was then than the hidden warrior spoke; a female voice, beautiful but determined and threatening in nature seemed to ring out from all directions. A most clever technique indeed, but Gareeku knew where the real source of the voice was, and that was right in front of them. Listening to Ryan speak, Gareeku nodded in agreement. "My friend is right, warrioress. We mean you no harm. We are on our way further south. An army of saiyan warriors has begun to wage war on Dragonia. We were seeing if any of these invaders had landed here in Larleta" Gareeku called out, keeping his senses on high alert in case the hidden warrioress decided to launch another attack.

Crystalina watched as the first figure took care of her arrows. These two would e formidable opponents indeed she thought with a small grin on her face. She listened as the first spoke and then the second and luaghed at the thought of foriegn warriors in her land. "If there were any of these so called Sayian things you speak of I assure you they are dead like the others who have come here before you. Now you must join them and meet your fate.", she said unreletenting as she jumped down onto the ground from the treetops with her sword in her hands. As if they had actually expected her to believe they came in peace. So many before them had used the same excuse and she wasn't about to believe it now.

Not a second after Ryan had finished speaking Gareeku had started, almost seeming to continue on the sentence for him like twins. Not long after Gareeku had finished speaking however the lady attacker spoke once more, not before laughing at them that is; it seemed that she didn’t believe their story one bit. Ryan sighed. “How rude.” Ryan muttered to himself. He wasn’t one for unnecessary violence, and this was without a doubt extremely unnecessary. Ryan quickly turned towards Gareeku at this point, directing his full attention to him, not worrying about another attack for the moment.
“Gareeku we don’t have time for this!” Ryan half shouted out. “The enemy is gaining in size as we speak, landing upon the planet and doing who knows what to the population in the nearby cities and villages. We must not delay.” Ryan continued. It was then that a sudden thud rung out through the air; Ryan turned his head in that direction. Instantly his eyes fell upon the attacker. She was draped in a white cloth, it seeming to be her attire, clutching a sword within her palm. Instantly, without thinking, Ryan’s arms crossed over either side of his body and his palms hovered above the Twin Reavers; he didn’t want to but he would defend himself if need be.

Grimacing as he heard the hidden warrioress laugh at them, Gareeku overheard Ryan speak to him, the blue-tailed saiyan turned his head towards his friend to reply. "I know Ryan, but if we turn our backs now she will surely attack! damn it! We should never have stopped here, this is wasting time!" Gareeku exclaimed in frustration, more at himself for choosing to investigate here than anything else. Hearing the thud, Gareeku whirled his head towards the source, finding out that the woman had shown herself, drawing her sword and preparing for battle.
"Shit"Gareeku muttered, summoning his katana to his side, unsheathing the blade and holding it in a pose similar to that of a samurai. "This is nonsense. We mean you no harm, yet you still choose to attack us. I don't want to hurt you, but if you still insist to attack, I will not hesitate to defend myself" Gareeku declared, his eyes looking deep into the womans to show that he was not fooling around. From this, any fool would be able that these warriors spoke the upmost truth and nothing less.

Crystalina gave a small smirk amused as the two began to get ready to defend themselves. They were warriors just as she had thought. And what was most obvious was that they were in a hurry. This did not matter to her one bit however. All that mattered was the protection of her land and it's secrecy. "Any last words?, she asked glaring at them still not backing down. She examined them carefully, they were definatly not from around nor did they look like any of those who had been here before them.

It seemed that no matter what this woman wanted to do battle, she was either extremely stupid of extremely powerful; it reminded Ryan of himself and Loki. She wasn’t summing up her opponents properly, as although you couldn’t always judge a book by its cover it was always best to start there if no other information was available at the time. On the left she had Ryan, a man dressed in clothes that would look incredibly similar to that of a Samurais and upon the left you had Gareeku, a man who was dressed in fighting Gi. Unless she was an extremely powerful being she had no chance against a samurai and a warrior such as Gareeku.
“Please.” Ryan pleaded one last time. “Please allow us to continue our journey!” He continued. “If we do not stop the Saiyan threat not only will the planet fall into Darkness but they will soon enough make their way to Larleta and burn the forest that you call home, they have to be stopped before it is too late!” Ryan shouted. Slowly he placed his hands against the hilts of his blades and begun to unsheathe them both. “Don’t make us do this.”

Listening to what Ryan, Gareeku nodded in agreement. "My friend speaks the truth, noble warrior. If you do not let us go and investigate what these saiyans are up to, they will surely come here. The entire planet of Dragonia is now at war with these fearsome warriors, and if we do not do something they will come to the land you love with no mercy. They will kill you, you're family, friends, everything you care about. We want to make sure that can never happen. Are you really going to make us do battle for that?" Gareeku said calmly, staring deep into the woman's eyes as he spoke.
They were fast running out of time. If they didn't do something soon, the saiyans would indeed begin to take over the entire planet, including Larleta, and Gareeku for one wasn't about to let that happen.
